Description of Work: Lee stained our sliding door, after doing several other painting jobs for us in the past. He has always done excellent work and we have been pleased each time.

Description of Work: Painted living room, hallway, and stairwell. Clean, professional, always left the area and materials out of the way when done working for the day. Lee did a great job.

Description of Work: Lee did paint work on my mother's kitchen ceiling, and some wall areas, and did an absolutely fantastic job. I would use him again, he is terrific, just wish the price was a tad lower, but worth the extra.

Description of Work: I used an Angie's List Big Deal and will definitely hire Lee again. He was able to schedule me in quickly, showed up on time, then quietly and efficiently finished the painting, then completely cleaned up the job site before leaving.

Description of Work: Got a late start as far as calling Lee to have him come over for an estimate. The "Deal" was for 8hrs of painting for 200.00. I knew the project was going to involve more than 8hrs and 200.00 but I needed the "Deal" to get me started on the project! I procrastinate. I called him the week after Xmas and he came over a week or so later and walked around the exterior of the house in order to provide an estimate of the job (this was ALL exterior painting...no interior). He had a bit of difficultly figuring in the 200.00 based on the size of the job but we came to the agreement of 1200.00 minus 200.00 which included prep and 2 coats of paint (the back side of my house faces the west and gets full-sun all day in the summer). He also included replacing the wood on two attic vents and some wood on a door to the crawl space. After starting the project he noticed some rot on the woodwork around several windows so we agreed to an addtional 400.00 for the work that that would require. He and his son did the prep/prime/painting -- Lee did all the woodwork. He has a real talent in that area....I'm very detail-oriented and he really did a nice job on all of the windows that needed the work. He didn't compromise the integrity of the house (built in 1939) buy replacing the wood with wood that was "available" but with wood that matched the old. (He did tell me beforehand that that particular type of frame may not be available anymore.) All in all I liked the job that Lee and his son did. I mowed my yard today and hit a few small junks of old wood and there was quite a bit of white paint chips from the prep in my driveway but I have a blower and it wasen't that much trouble. I will be using him again in the future.....forgot to get a quote on stripping my front door!!

Description of Work: Needed 2 story foyer painted and up staircase wall. I usually do the painting in my house, but with the high ceiling and stairs, I just didn't have the ladders or nerve to do it myself.

Description of Work: Lee came to our house to help repair drywall from termite activity, and then he repainted our walls. Lee has also helped us with other projects like repairing and replacing our siding and painting our entire house.
