Description of Work: Purchased 1 Rick of wood. |Before buying I asked if the wood would pass for cooking wood on my smoker. He said that it was mostly oak and there may be some hickory or pecan. Turns out there is mostly a mix of undesirable hardwoods such as maple and some others that are hard to burn and some have a rank smell.(He probably was not aware of this) They should not sell these types of wood that can't be used for cooking or in the home. Some of it did stink-up my home after realizing I had to be very cautious when used for cooking. We recently donated most of it to use at camp sites.

Description of Work: Cut down and hauled away 9 6-ft holly bushes. Had time to spare so cut down young trees and brush along 30-ft fence. Efficient and courteous.

Description of Work: Three very large trees cut down and hauled away.In addition, I have used thel for lawn service and handyman projects. They were very professional and courteous. The total price was $3,000 and was below the other two bids. I have used The HOW Foundation several times for both my personal and rental property. |

Description of Work: They actually answered the phone when no one else did. They will deliver in Nov, but was very courteous and friendly over the phone. The price is lower than all others. Thus far, I would recommend them and look forward to the end results. Chose them based on the reviews and when I experienced a portion myself, I knew it was going to be okay.

Description of Work: I contacted HOW to have my gutters cleaned. They quoted $60/hr and estimated the job would take about an hr. They arrived a little later than expected, but called to let me know. Completed cleaning in under 30 min and found two areas that were clogged with debris. Very nice, professional young men.

Description of Work: A car hit and destroyed my brick column mailbox. I had the HOW Foundation come out, remove all the brick and put in a new mailbox (not brick column). They went above and beyond, put leftover brick in the huge hole to help fill it. Did an excellent job -- I would not hesitate to use them for anything.

Description of Work: We called them for a firewood delivery. They were there when we called (as opposed to voicemail like almost every other firewood provider) were very courteous, friendly, and professional. The price was very reasonable. They delivered that day and even unloaded the firewood and stacked it all for us. We were very pleased with the service we received, and would not hesitate to use them again for firewood delivery.

Description of Work: They cleaned out 7 garden beds, put down new mulch, trimmed bushes, planted new annuals and cleaned up. Totally awesome job. We will definitely hire them again!
