Description of Work: Had a hard time getting provider to my location. Could not make first or second agreed upon times, called and had to reschedule to later the 3rd opportunity which they did make. Service once there was okay not great no checklist to confirm they looked at everything on the list. Appeared to be more interested in buying new vehicle than servicing my equipment. While they appeared competent I will not use them again.

Thank you for spending your time to give us a review. I know time is precious and can't be replaced so I thank everyone for doing a review for my business and for letting other Tulsans know how you felt about your experience with our business. I tried to respond on google to someone and forgot my password because its been stored in my phone, but for some reason I had to know, it I guess so makes sure review is legit. Thanks again.

I called Brian's Heat & Air to check out my A/C that wasn't blowing cold. When they got here I told them I may need Freon and I assume I have a leak since I have to have it recharged every year. I asked if a leak check could be performed. He stated the unit had to be charged with 6lbs of Freon in order to check and locate the area that is leaking. He said it would be 50.00 for each pound for the Freon and another 30.00 to check for the leak and another 50.00 for the service call which totaled 380.00. I asked him at the time if there is a leak wouldn't it just leak out and hated to spend that much just to check for a leak. He acted like there was no other method to check for the leak and so I agreed to have it installed. After installing the Freon he checked for leaks and found one going into the evaporator coil in my garage. I asked if he could fix it and he stated he could but he'd have to come back to do the work and it would be another 258.00 to solder the coil where it was leaking. I also inquired about just replacing the coil and he called his vendor and they said that since mine was a 21" coil in height that it wasn't possible and i would just have to replace the whole unit if i wanted a new coil for 4500.00. I called him the next day (the day when he was supposed to come out and solder the leak) and said even after adding 6 lbs of Freon that the unit never got cold and was concerned why the coil never got cold even right after the Freon was added. Also, on the first day that he left they used duct table to seal the encasement around the coil and the tape came off and the air was just blowing into my garage. He didn't come back out until Monday in which he checked the Freon levels again and stated that now the Freon had all leaked out and said "Sorry" and left. I told him I'd let him know about replacing the unit but of course will never use his service in the future. Of course, I didn't learn until after the fact that you don't charge a non leaking system with more Freon to check for leaks which now makes sense since I'm assuming that would be considered "venting" the Freon into the environment which from my understanding is against the law.

Not quite how it went But not going to argue with anyone on the net. It's generally 150.00 to find the leak. I carry the best freon leak detector available to hvac professionals on my truck. to find the leak is about 100 to 150.00 and to fix and gas up the bill is generally around 350.00 or so depending on how big the system is, how much freon it holds, length of copper line set.. that's what bill was for one March 2015. They gave me a good review on google. If I ever upset a customer I'd appreciate it if you give me the opportunity to fix it with you . I know I can't please everyone. To put a new coil in is 1000.00 to 1200.00. The price of 4500.00, what he was talking about was for a whole new system, furnace, evaporator and condensar with new copper line set. The tape sticks real good to clean metal and their is a 10 year factory warranty on all parts. Why I recommend a new system since it's just a couple thousand more than replacing the coil. his system was original when house was built and their phasing out old freon so i was recommending going to the new cheaper freon system...prices do vary depending on tonnage but that was the prices on his job. I know I can't make everyone happy. I can't please everyone I geuss. Wish I could though.

Brian's right hand man Steve came out to assist with all the work. Both of them were really professional and friendly. Even though they were a small business, it was really convenient for us that they accepted credit cards.
Description of Work: They installed a new central heating and air unit, replaced all of the air ducting underneath the house, installed a sump pump and drain system, and installed a hot water tank.
