Description of Work: We called to have our home door knobs replaced and keyed. They recommended purchasing the hardware elsewhere (lower cost and greater selection) and they would be happy to install them and key them. The job took two visits about 3 weeks apart. They did not charge us for two service calls. D. Allen performed the work quickly and professionally on each visit. They even recycled our old brass hardware and donate the proceeds to charity! I highly recommend B & G!

Description of Work: Front door latch was not working. Service man was able to identify the problem and replace the central latch cylinder without having to replace the whole lock

+ -1 moreLeon, the owner, spent substantial time demonstrating various types of locks and helped us decide which one best suited our needs. It took one day to get the locks in and they were installed the following day. They did an excellent job and the doors and locks fit better than the originals ever did. The labor cost was a little more than estimated, but it took more time to make two of the doors lock properly.
Description of Work: I had four deadbolts replaced, replaced two knobs with lever handles and rekeyed existing locks.

+ -1 moreI called on a Tuesday and they came out the next day. They were scheduled for 9:30am and at about 9:20am they called to say they were running about 10 minutes late. The young man, Eric, who did the job was very nice, cleaned up after himself and did the job in about 30 minutes. I went to their store to have some extra keys made and Connie gave me one free. Very nice folks.
Description of Work: Install new lock set on back door and re-key front door.
