They sent Serviceman-Jim the same day I called them. He was courteous, professional, and promptly diagnosed the problem. He did not have the part, but called the office and placed me on the schedule for today. My dryer is fixed, and I was very impressed with everything about this service company!

No further comments. Was very pleased.

He explained to us that our dishwasher had a design flaw that caused it to clog. He tried to use the existing parts, but one was not cleanable. He ordered a part and came back in two days. Made the repair and everything is working well. Nice to not have to buy a new dishwasher. Thanks.

Technician was on time, had part needed on truck, worked efficiently, cleaned up afterwards. Very pleased with this young man's preparedness and work ethic.

Repaired computer board that went out in an oven. On time. Great follow up. Serviceman had to make several trips out to location to fix problem and sent several components off to get rebuilt. Oven was so old that new replacement parts were not available. Wasn't going to charge me unless they could fix it. Will definitely use again.

Repairman was very professional, had the needed part with him. (had explained symptoms to the scheduler & given the model of the dryer) He checked out the dryer completely and made sure it ran & heated correctly before leaving.

Replaced freezer sensor in Samsung refrigerator. Both the office and technician were friendly and efficient. They promptly returned calls and appeared to be more concerned with resolving my issue than anything else. Will call them again if I have an issue.

I called on Tuesday and the repairman came out at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday. Great turnaround. We have only had the Samsung dryer for 5 years but we thought about replacing it with a cheaper Whirlpool since my first dryer (a Whirlpool) lasted 12-14 years. I weighed the cost of a new dryer (approx. $500) with the cost of repairing. After laboring with my husband on what to do, we thought we would see how much it would cost to repair. The repair comes with a 1 year warranty. I am glad that we had the repair because it would have been a week or more and going back to the store to purchase a new dryer. The repairman was very nice and helpful and answered all of my questions. In 35 min. or less I was ready to dry.

I was was not pleased at all. I had to call them back to fix the refrigerator. Even after the second time the ice maker is sounding like it is leaking or something. The washer started making noise and we decided to replace it.

He deeply cleaned each part as he took it apart, ultimately diagnosing an issue with the motor. Gave us reasonable options and if we chose to buy a motor it would have one year warranty.

Showed up promptly ahead of schedule. Knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it quickly. Courteous and polite. I would highly recommend them

Went fantastic. They were quick to set an appointment and completed the repair quickly. They gave my sister-in-law a discount because of my referral of them through Angie's List. Great company. The dates and cost shown above are a guess. I forgot to complete the survey right after the services were rendered. However, I know the cost to my sister-in-law (who is on a limited budget) was very fair.

It was easy to get a timely appointment and the gentleman who came to the house to do the repairs was very polite and professional.

I am a landlord in Tulsa and A-1 is a great partner. They are reliable, courteous, flexible and stand by their work. They had to reschedule once and were so apologetic and so accommodating. I will use them for the foreseeable future. Seems like a big business but run with a "family" philosophy.

They called ahead, arrived on time, evaluated our broken washer and provided an approximate value to repair. We decline the repair due to the cost of the work (replace transmission ~ 400.00) Decided to replace the machine.

It was not very long ago and they did a great job. He did not have time, but he really made time for us. He came and got us back going again. He did really a fine job with a good price; we really appreciate it.

If all service techs are like the one we had, I would not recommend this company as they are not honest. Refrigerator was not cooling, freezer was working fine. Took the tech all of 10 minutes to tell me the auto defrost had gone out. My first thought was my mother had the freezer and fridge too full, and the door did not close correctly. When we cleaned it out after her passing, we discovered it was overfull enough to get the freezer door out of alignment. Tech told me that did not cause it. He said it was very common for auto defrosts to go out. When I asked why, he said "they just do, no one knows why." First of all, as many fridges we have owned, and as old as some of them were, we "never" had auto defrost go out, so that tells me it is not "that" common. Besides, it seems to make sense that an overfull fridge/freezer, with doors not closing properly, would cause the fridge to overwork and ruin auto defrost. The tech insisted we needed a new auto defrost part. I asked him how much and was quoted around $500. I told him no repairs, that was too much to put into this refrigerator. He proceeded to tell me that I would have to spend over $2,000 to replace the fridge, which is not true at all! This is a French door fridge, the smallest you can get. No ice and water in the door, nothing fancy, just plain. I know for a fact, I can find one for considerably less (brand new). Point in fact: My refrigerator is twice the size, is stainless steel, has two ice makers, cube and crushed ice and water in the door, tilt up shelves for storing tall items, can dispenser, is a better brand plus numerous other features. We paid $1,800 for ours February of this year. After the tech left, we decided to check to see if it was iced up (we didn't think to do this first. If we had, this company would not have been called and we would have saved $80). Lo and behold, it was solid ice. We unplugged it and let it thaw then started up again. Almost two weeks later and there is still no ice build up and the fridge is working just fine. This leads us to believe, this tech deliberately mislead us to make the repair. I would guess either these repairs earn him commission, counts on his production goals, or both. I am glad we were smart enough to check this out before moving ahead. Unfortunately, I have to wonder how many people he was not truthful with and opted for the repairs when they were either not necessary or the appliance could be replaced for less than the repairman let on. I am very dissatisfied by this and feel he attempted to take advantage of us. Sadly, if he had done this when my mother was alive, I am afraid she would have taken it at face value without delving further. I hope this company does not condone lying and these strong arm tactics for getting people to agree to expensive repairs. Hopefully, this is just an isolated incident with one of their employees. With this being my first time at using Angie's list for work to be done, I must say, I am very disappointed and not sure of going through this source for my carpentry needs for expanding.

They came out same day I called. They were super professional on the phone. Plus when the guy arrived (on time) he was polite and professional! He got right to work!! He was honest and to the point. 30 minutes later he was done and our washing machine was working again!!!

It was fabulous. I would hire them again. They were on time. They were professional. THey gave an estimate before they started working. Price was good.

I was very impressed with the technician's helpfulness, honesty, and knowledge.
