We were extremely satisfied with the work provided by Brian, through A1Appliance. This company was professional from the first phone call. They made sure our problem was taken care of quickly and efficiently. We will most certainly use A1Appliance for ALL our repair needs.

I called and booked an appointment for them to come and check my dryer that my husband had tried to replace the belt on. Which they knew when I booked the appointment I had to wait a week before they could come out and write before they were supposed to be here they called and said that they could not work on my dryer since my husband had tried to fix it. So I The office and complained and the Woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and said that 1st of all she did not book this appointment and that if she had she would have let me know that they wouldn't come out and look at anything that someone had tried to fix and basically hung up on me. Ended up calling Mr. Plummer and they were extremely helpful and nice and had no issue that my husband had tried to fix it so I would recommend them.

It went well. He explained my options so I could decide myself if the repair was worth it

I had diagnosed issue on internet before tech was scheduled. He came, he verified and he replaced the part.

Outstanding response and repair BUT !!!!!! We were charged some imaginary and exorbitant price for the part required. Actual price of same part on line varied from $79-$47. Even allowing for an upcharge of part cost because he was carrying, I was charged $195 for the part. Thrilled with the repair but feel gouged with the cost. I'll have to be more careful next time.

Great. Both times. Arrived when they said they would. Very helpful regarding working around my work schedule. Very happy with the repairs made.

Technician came out as scheduled and found what was potentially an ice block. Removed that and waited overnight to insure the ice maker was actually broken and would not restart. It did not, so they came back out the next day to finalize repairs. Accepted the Angie's List discount.

A repair technician, Thomas, came and confirmed the heating element was out. He replaced it, cleaned lent from the dryer and checked for other problems. He suspected there was a lent buildup unseen in the exhaust vent somewhere in the house and explained what to look for, i.e., an error code or the dryer getting hot or taking longer than 45 minutes to dry a load of clothes. If any of those happen, consider calling in a dryer vent cleaning service. He was very professional and friendly. As he was leaving he noticed a noise our refrigerator was making which he thought was too loud. He reached into the ice maker and made an adjustment to the fan blade which stopped the noise. He then showed us what to do if the noise comes back and there was no extra charge for this. As it turned out, he was right about the dryer exhaust vent needing to be cleaned. We called a vent cleaning service and they found a large buildup of lent in the dryer exhaust duct as it passes through the attic. Had Thomas not alerted us to it, we probably would have been replacing the dryer heating element again in the future.

They were easy to work with and quick to respond. Service guy was nice and knowledgable, quick to diagnose issue and quick repair. The work was good and has held up well. The cost was a bit higher than anticipated, but worth it.

The man who came out, I needed a part for my refrigerator. I showed him the part, and he ordered it, and didn't charge me anything. I got it at a real discount from where I could buy it. I had a shelf that needed to be replaced, and showed it to him. He took it, and when he came with the part for the washing machine, he came with the part. It was much cheaper than I could afford. I have recommended him to other people, and they have been happy with him too. I went to Angie's List and found the rating of the provider. The rating and feedback people have written. I just told them, if you want somebody, they had a problem with their refrigerator leaking. I said he probably be more responsive than other places, and he specialized in ice makers and things. I gave them his name, A-1, and they were out and fixed it. They were happy with the job he did, and how he conducted himself. While he was there, he fixed an mistake from an previous service people had made on the ice maker. That is just the way. He is pretty young. He is about thirty five.

The technician explained everything very thoroughly. Kept a very clean workspace. Alerted me to other issues but didn't press to repair them. Highly recommend.

Diagnosed and replaced parts in freezer and all is GREAT!

Tech came one day to diagnose, less than a week later to repair. Prompt courteous professional service, reasonably priced

Service person looked at error code and said it would cost $400. He wrote up the ticket for a service call and left. He was glib and unprofessional, including comments he made about the company that he worked for. I called Hahn Appliances to verify that the machine was out of warranty. When I told them about what the issue was and the price quoted, they said that was too high for the problem diagnosed (heating element) and suggested I try someone else. I called All Appliances and they repaired the problem for $225. Works great now but I lost the service call to A-1.

They did good. They were great. I will continue to use them.

Everything went smoothly. Dishwasher works great now. Repair man was very professional.

It turns out my father used regular dishwashing liquid in the dishwasher because he ran out of regular dishwasher detergent and borrowed the liquid from his neighbor, whose dishwasher hasn't worked since she moved in decades ago. This is what caused the water and suds on the floor. The repairman discovered this when he came to check it out. He charged me the basic repair call and went on his way. The nice thing here was that I didn't have to be there, but could handle it over the phone.

Excellent, same day service at a very reasonable price

Really well. It was costly, but that was because so many things were broken. They did a good job and the guy who came here was excellent and professional!

This company is fantastic! We needed a new ice maker and he even carried it on the truck. In and out in 30 minutes. Excellent service and great personality!

Repairman provided me with an estimate to repair the gas range.

.5 hour late. Found and fixed problem in .5 hour time. Very pleased.

we decided to replace the machine rather than repair it. The repairman was very knowledgeable about the costs, effects, etc. Based on the cost, we decided to replace the machine.

Jim diagnosed the frig problem, explained the problem and the fix in easy to understand terms. While he was installing the new parts he even had me get back there and watch so I knew exactly what he was doing. He's a very nice man and appears to be very knowledgeable. A-1 always comes ASAP, usually the next day and they do a great job.
