Cut down one tree growing too close to foundation and ground down another stump. Arrived on time, they were done with job in ~2 hours and cleaned up site very well.

The men arrived were very polite. Cut down the tree in a short time and removed it. The men cleaned up the work. I was very pleased with their work.

It was very good. The person who came out was very honest, did a good job and cleaned up very well. He trimmed the tree really well and was very friendly, nice and had very good equipment.

The contractor was extremely helpful from our initial meeting to discussing options on tree replacement. I was unaware I would be responsible for removing remnants of stump. I did not feel that removal of stump excess was an issue. In hindsight I would have preferred removal of excess, and should have raised the issue at the time. I appreciated the quality and expertise. I would recommend hiring the Tree Guy.

A considerable amount of trimming and dead bush removal and stumping. He cut $400 off original estimate after seeing I wanted less trimming on 2 large trees.

He was on time for the estimate appointment - even though I wasn't. I was at work and called him, he was able to give estimate over the phone. I set up a time for work to be done about a week later. They arrived on time and cut down tree and disposed of it within an hour. He sprayed the stump to prevent it from growing again. He also ground down and sprayed another stump in the yard at no charge. Would definately work with him again.

A large pin oak that had suffered several severed limbs from ice storms through recent years had three large limbs hanging over our two-story house, as well as a limb hanging a little too low over the street. We contacted three tree-trimming services for estimates. Isaiah set and kept an appointment to provide us with a free estimate. His knowledge and experience as an arborist was apparent. He was able to explain what his plan was and how it would benefit our tree. He offered us a fair price and two available discounts: one for paying cash and one for joining Angie's List. We took advantage of both. We also asked him about possible future work on a birch tree and discussed the pros and cons of removing the tree due to disease. He gave us an estimate for that work also and offered to hold that estimate until spring. Isaiah is polite, honest and professional. He knows exactly how and where to cut the trees. He and his crew work smoothly together and took only about an hour-and-a-half from start to finish. All trimmings were raked from the yard and run through the chipper. The work is fantastic! The tree looks balanced, despite having had three large limbs removed. We are eager for Isaiah to return in the spring to thin the oak tree and remove the birch. I have no doubt both jobs will be done to our complete satisfaction. The only problem we had was very minor: that of obtaining a receipt for our cash payment. We never doubted we'd get it, but we did have to remember to follow up with Isaiah. Once we did, however, we received the receipt in the mail promptly. I would recommend The Tree Guy to anyone, whether the job is large or small. The service Isaiah offers is the kind of service we all would like to get from any business -- a perfect model of efficiency and professionalism.

He met with me and spent the time to explain my options for each tree in my yard. He only advised the trees that obviously needed professional work done on them and did not try to talk me into getting more work done than necessary.He answered all of my questions in detail and even followed up with an email related to more specific information to my questions. He was the lowest bidder of the three I originally looked at and was very professional.

Isaiah, the Owner, is highly professional. You can tell he knows his business and he cares about the quality of his work. This is called old fashioned service with an old fashioned work ethic.

It was great. They were very prompt getting back to me with my request for an estimate. They came out, looked it over, worked with my wife, they made some suggestions and answered her questions about what we needed to do. They were very responsive. They were willing to work with me on payment as far as a plan for payment goes. Just overall they were great, they will willing to set up times and when that didn't work for us they actually came back and helped us when they said the job was going to get done they came out that day, did it. It looks great. They cleaned everything up.

He did exactly what he said when he said he would.

They removed the tree, and another large tree, and cleaned up after. They did a great job, and didn't hurt any thing in a very crowded space. An amateur could have easily been hurt or killed, and would have at least damaged the patio...these guys left things much better than they found them. They're amazing.

We needed a tree stump removed. The company responded in a timely manner, the work was very satisfactory.

We had several companies come out and give us estimates for cutting down this huge dead tree in our backyard. They showed up at 7:30am and were gone by 2pm. I was surprised by how well they cleaned up afterwards. They did a fantastic job in communicating with me about how long we would be without power and how the process would go. I will definitely recommend them to other people and will use them again in the future

The Tree Guy was very friendly, polite, and very easy to talk to. It was a very long process to take care of the tree. When they were finished, they cleaned up very well. They even cleaned up my neighbors yard, where parts of the tree had fallen. I had called multiple other service providers, all of whom did not answer my call or return my message. The Tree Guy went out his way, even with his busy schedule, to take care of my tree after the town gave me an expiration date to get the tree taken care of. I would recommend them to everyone looking for tree services.

Met with Isaiah on Saturday 7/19/2013, scheduled the appointment for Thursday. They showed up, did the majority of won on Monday. Prompt, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, reasonably priced. very satisfied. would recommend them to others. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

We had extensive tree damage from the May 31st storm. We have a 30+ year old red bud tree, that had major damage. We also had a large bradford pear tree that was knocked down by the storm. We called in Isaiah, who is a knowledgeable Arborist, to look at our red bud and try to save it. He knew how to expertly prune the tree to help lessen the severe cuts in it, and also how to do it where it will receive the best chance to recover properly. He did a great job and the tree looks much better. He also ground the stump of the tree that had fallen; and trimmed and pruned back 4 large holly bushes that were growing too large and unruly. He also found behind one bush, a possum that had its feet caught in a fence and couldn't get out. It was real weak. Probably had been there about a week. Because it was so weak, he was able to get it out, put it in his trailer and take it to a remote wooded area and release it back into the woods. We were very grateful as we weren't sure what to do about it. All in all we were very pleased with Isaiah and his crew. They were very professional, knew what they were doing, and cleaned up everything before leaving.

I called Isaiah on a Wednesday, and mentioned that I needed to leave the state in a few days and would like to have him come out soon, if possible. He took down my information and set an estimate appt for the next afternoon. He actually did not show up to that estimate appt, and I was confused and a little frustrated. But the reason I still hired him and scored him highly here on Angie's List is because he called me early the next morning to apologize for the oversight. I believe he did not write down a time for our appt, and I remember that he was driving when I called him the first time, and he had to pull over to take my information, so I understand how easy it would have been to make a mistake there. He then moved his schedule around to make sure he could get to my job in a timely manner before I left town, and this is why I grade him highly. We're human, we make mistakes, but it's my belief that our character shows in the way we handle those mistakes, and I was pleased and impressed with Isaiah's professionalism and sincere apology for the little bit of my time that he had wasted. In all, the job was done right in a timely manner and I will most likely use their service again in the future.

We left for two hours the next days, returned home and the job had been done. We received the bill by mail. They did a good job.

This was my second tree removed by The Tree Guy LLC. I was so pleased with the first job with price/quality, I hired them again. The first tree was a front yard 60 foot sycamore. This was a backyard 30 foot pecan. Again price, quality, timely performance. Came about a week after hiring. Received insurance papers recommended on internet. They left nice wood chips from grinding stump that went well on garden. Very pleasant to work with. Took second visit to grind stump. Left nice firewood pieces. I may have checked off wrong boxes F instead of A on my last review. Gave good advice on trees with root interaction with porch, driveway, foundation. Ignore tap root trees(roots go straight down like carrots) & watch trees with surface branching roots. Very fast response with estimate and work.
