You Move Me

Description of Work: The two movers who arrived on the appointed day could not have been more polite and accomodating. They were tipped accordingly. However, there is a basic disconnect in communication between the business people at the office who take copious information about the move, then make the quotes, the date, the time, etc. and the actual moving crew working with the customer. I was told the movers would call 30 mins prior to their arrival, but that did not happen. The move was allowed 3 hours by the company, but the movers were still working after 4 hours, and ended up rushing to their next job, which had been scheduled for two hours previous. They did not move everything that they were asked. For example, boxes needed to be sealed or they would not be moved. I was not told this in advance by the office, nor was I told there would be an additional basic fee of $185.00 to move my upright piano. In fact, when discussing price during process of making the appointment, I was told explicitly there was no extra cost for pianos. In general, I have used movers whose corporate and actual moving processes have worked much more efficiently and effectively. It seems the main problem was in the communication from the corporate office.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal for a moving truck, 2 crew members, for 2 hours of moving service. Everything went as planned and they did a great job! Would definitely recommend.

Description of Work: Moved me from Edmond to Oklahoma City. Arrived on time, worked diligently, moved all items with care, packed well so that most items were moved in the first trip. Both men were friendly, polite, strong, capable, and never cursed or lost their tempers. They were so pleasant and professional. Nothing was broken or scratched, and all was accomplished within the estimated time. Truly a positive experience, and far better than my move 6 months ago with a different local company. Description of Work: They called when they were on their way and arrived on time. They took care to move all of my items as per the instructions/order I provided. They unloaded and placed my items as per instructions. They did not go over the allotted 2 hours of contracted time and were friendly and professional for the duration of the service. | |I purchased the special through Angie's List and would use this service or one like it again if provided the same special. This is not a service for which I would pay the full advertised price.

Description of Work: The crew worked hard although they were 45 min late. They responded well to instruction but still wanted to prolong the move time by attempting to move items I was moving myself. There were some charges I was not made aware of at the beginning.

The team consisted of two brothers who were very prompt, professional and efficient. They seldom took breaks, and the last move was to a third floor apartment. | |I would NOT hesitate to use this company in the future. I am so glad they were on Angie's list!
