Description of Work: I have used their lawn service for the past several months. I finally discontinued the service because of a ton of weeds and very limited fertilizer. The problem was the lack of a thorough coverage with their spray. The technician would spend more time making the invoice than spraying my yard.

Description of Work: They provide lawn fertilization treatment for us including killing weeds. I like their service and payment plan, which is pro-rated. Their customer service people are awesome. The service with the techs could be better and more thorough. (Fee indicated is monthly)

Description of Work: At this point in our relationship things have gone well. I signed up through a door to door sales rep. The company did as the rep. said they would and services (airiation, seeding bare spots and spraying) all have been completed. We will see if any of that will do any good to my lawn. I have signed up for regular spraying of appropriate chemicals throughout the year. Price was somewhat less than other providers of these services. I have much bare spots in my lawn caused, I think, by shade from many trees. Only time will tell if these guys know what they are talking about.

Description of Work: Monthly lawn treatment to feed grass, kill weeds and promote health of the lawn. An automated call is received a couple of days before the lawn is treated. Services are delivered and an invoice is left on the front door as well as a sign left in the front yard. Treatment is quick and I don't have to be home for service to be delivered. The lawn is responding very well to the treatment and we are happy with the results and the relationship.

Description of Work: Pre-emergant I have used Scott's Lawn Service for several years now and they have done ah good job. They always respond when I contact them for any reason. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone needing their services.

Description of Work: I have used them for over two years and have requested at least twice that they spray two additional feet to my neighbor's driveway. They say they will but never do. I also don't like when they call trying to sell me additional services that i don't need. I have stopped using them.

Description of Work: I began using Tru-Green in 2009 and signed up for the 7 lawn treatments per year. No problems until this spring when I started getting many weeds in the yard. My wife or I would call the local office and most times would get no answer which means you are patched through to the national office. We complained that we had weeds and TruGreen offered to come out and spray again for free which they did, but there were still weeds. We called and complained and noticed that we were getting an increase in sales calls (e.g. termite treatments for the yard, aeration, shrubs and bushes, etc....) We told them that we just wanted our lawn to be free of weeds. We were instructed that a representative would be out on Aug. 1 to assess the situation. Sure enough he came out on Aug. 1 and stated that we had sage in our lawn (he was unfamiliar with the backyard area where the most weeds were located despite my wife giving the person on the phone the exact location in our back yard of where the weeds were so I escorted him to the large area and he acknowledged that sage was only one of the weeds present). He stated he would have a service truck come out again (free) and I would hear from their automated messaging sytem in a day or two letting me know when to expect them. He then proceeded to tell me how much I needed the bush and shrub package (5 treatments at $50 each). I agreed to the package and he left. I did this because I still had faith in TruGreen at that time. Needless to say, 10 days went by and the only call I received from TruGreen was to let me know when the bush/shrub treatment was taking place. I heard absolutely nothing about the lawn issue. My wife called two more times and could never get anybody in the local office and was patched through to either a regional "call center" in Broken Arrow or elsewhere. There were no chronological notes in the system, so she always had to repeat the story from A-Z each time (very frustrating). Finally, we received an automated call on Aug. 16 saying that the lawn service would be performed on Aug. 20. We came home that day and found no signs anybody had been there (for three years and over 25 service calls there was always a TruGreen sign in the yard and an invoice/service report hanging on the door after the service call.......................nothing was present on Aug. 20). We called back two more times on Aug. 21 (again no answer at the local office even though they were supposed to be open until 7pm). My wife asked for the mgr. and was told that a supervisor named Brad would call her. He never called. Finally, on Aug. 21, I called and spoke with Heather in Broken Arrow. I, of course, explained the entire situation from A-Z and she placed me on hold while she attempted to call 4 different numbers for the local office (prior to 7pm) and was unable to reach them. She said that they have had numerous complaints recently about the local OKC office. I told her that I was completely frustrated at this lack of quality lawn service, non-existent customer service, etc... and cancelled my account. I will pay the $50 for the one bush/shrub treatment and will find somebody else to now address my weed problems. I don't know what has happened with the local office this year, but they've lost me as a customer. Too much frustration, high pressure sales, no return calls and poor lawn treatment. P.S. When I cancelled my services, Heather said I would receive a call from "corporate." Still waiting. And, much of the time (including yesterday and today) the TruGreen "pay online" feature on their website is down so online payments aren't possible. This company really needs an overhaul or they're going to lose a whole bunch of customers.
