 + 0 moreExcellent. Chet is busy as the other reviews have said. And I can see why. He does great work, explains everything, is very reasonable as to costs. And works with you to keep cost low. First contact was phone calls that he had to return because he was busy, but he did so within a day. Then within a couple of more days he came by to look at what needed to be done and to give estimate. He was able to work us into his schedule in less than a week and completed all the work within 4 hours, which was within the estimate he gave us. We highly recommend him and will use him again if we need handyman work.
Description of Work: Fixed 4 doors, one exterior and 3 interior and painted the exterior door. Had to rebuild door frame for exterior door. House only 6 years old but exterior door rubbed the frame at the top and had quarter of an inch gap at the bottom of the door.

 + 7 moreAnything you want done, he will do it A-Z. He is very good, professional and prompt. He charges $35/hr. Before he does any work he tells you what you need and what his fee will be. People do not mind waiting for him because he is that good.
Description of Work: He put in new wiring, a new electrical system and lighting in my barn. He also built a new deck for me with trek wood and wired new lighting on the deck. He has installed fixtures in our house including a new commode and handicap railing. He has completed cement work, installed new doors: sliding bathroom door, outside door and storm door. He cleaned my drainage system outside and had done plumbing work.

 + 3 moreMr. Steward started right in and unrolled his tools. He put up trim and siding on an addition that was unfinished on my home. He took down an old carport in less than an hour and suggested replacing it with a metal one, like he had installed at his place. He is easy to work with, always ready to work. I would recommend him to anyone. I had problems even getting estimates from other companies, they didn't call back. He is responsible and has become a friend. There is no need for him to advertise because he has lots of repeat business!
Description of Work: Rebuilt eaves, applied siding, made crawl space door, took down old carport and is installing new one, hung storm door

 + 0 moreI have a great compliment for him. He did the work really well. He was so honest, I will use him for the rest of my life! He told me he charged $35 per hour, and he would do the best that he could. He was so good, and cleaned up after himself. He didn't tell me he couldn't find any parts like the other guy did. He is the best handyman I've ever had! I will tell anyone that it's worth it!
Description of Work: I used Steward Maintenance for my storm door. He was here about one week ago.

Description of Work: He leveled my bird bath, installed a ceiling fan, changed a motion detector, and did electrical work along with many other things. He is currently changing out all of the wooden planks on my deck and installing boards that will make my deck maintenance free.

 + 0 moreI have used him several times. The last time he came out, he gave me a very good price as he has become a very good friend of mine. His labor charge was reasonable. I paid for the materials, which was high. He came highly recommended. He is very personable and does a good job. He is thorough. I can trust him; I can leave in my house without being worried. He is very honest; he will not steal. He takes a lot of pride in his work and he loves to talk. He is a little busy just like everyone else. He does come out on the day he says he would. I have already scheduled him for him to come out again for another job. He is my go-to guy.
Description of Work: I used Steward Maintenance, six months ago. They do a little bit of everything. They do whatever I need done. The last time they came out, the guy ran a gas line for me through my attic from my heater in the garage.

 + 3 moreIt all has gone very well....he jumped right in and got most of the things that I needed done right away......as far as finishing we are not their yet, so I don't have a finish date for you yet,but what I can tell you that with all six (6) of the handymens that have attempted to to fix things or do things around our home......Steward Maintance has been more then EXCLLENT!!!!!!! and I went through all the rotten apple's to finally finf the pick of the crop!!!!!
Description of Work: Mr. Steward has corrected several things around my home that other handymens have done a horrible job on..he has lots of skills that I find that I have to require several others to perform....he is going to replaced all my decks outside that was patched and put together by other handymens......he has done electrical work for me.....also put up my infaltables during the Christmas holidays......replaced a bad lock,replaced a window pane,put up a new sercurity light that was faulty,put in a handicapped stool for my husband, guard rails outside for my husband's safety while he walks up our walkway,and a list of other things that I will need done this spring and summer.

 + -1 moreHe doesn't do any advertising, he doesn't have to because he stays busy enough from word of mouth business. He is very good. I feel free to leave him with full reign of my home and I have done that before. He is perfectly trustworthy. He has done extensive work for me. He is great. His prices are average, he's not terribly cheap or expensive. He seems to give older people a little bit of a break, he's a really nice guy. I really like and trust him. I am on his list for more work when he has time.
Description of Work: Steward Maintenance is my handy man. I have used him for widening an entry way, installing an atrium door, electrical work, widened out my cabinets to accommodate a large refrigerator, installing lights, etc. He can do just about anything that needs to be done.
