They have been awesome both times I have used them and will use them again

After a 50 mile per hr windstorm a few days before Christmas, we were about to loose approximately 75 ft of 12ft high board fencing. I checked Angie's List and called Rick Kelley Fence Company. They came out and gave me an estimate and were to come out after Christmas. They called on December 23rd and ask if they could come out Christmas Eve, that there was another storm coming Christmas dAay with predicted 50 mile per hr winds again. They came out and spent the whole day fixing the fence. They used screws instead of nails, which made a lot of sense. I feel I now have a much better fence than I ever had. They were great to deal with.

I called to report that the 60 miles per hour winds we experienced in NW Oklahoma City had resulted in damage to my driveway gate, preventing me from closing the entrance gate to my backyard. My request for service was handled quickly. Mr. Kelley came out, and fixed the gate, adding new boards. He stood by his work, though I hadn't expected him to do so, since the winds were beyond the norm. He was gracious to help me at such a busy time. I would definitely recommend him, and have in the past and since.

Matt called me, kept in touch with me, and came when promised. My fence repair looks great, and my new gate swings freely and smoothly. I originally had an estimate that was hundreds of dollars more than this. My experience with this company was great. I will definitely use them again.

Everything went very smoothly and efficiently.. All necessary materials were on hand at the beginning of the job. There was practically no material left over to clean-up when the job was finished.

Matt was the only one of three people to actual visit the work site and provide an estimate on the spot. One other company came to view the job but never provided the estimate (didn't want to clear the debris field to get to the work area). The last company never showed for the estimate. Both Matt and Rick are extremely polite and very professional. They performed the work on the weekend per my request and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the work. A truly professional company that I'd hire again without hesitation.

Wow from beginning to end! Rick Kelley came and provided us with a detailed quotation on the spot. We hired him and he showed up with this crew on the day he said he would. He has all of the equipment needed to do ANY job. Ours was a hard job due to many large trees with heavy root systems. They dug the holes, set the poles and came back two days later to build the fence. Rick and his crew went above and beyond to make our fence experience superior. He also made three custom gates for our property which fitted the slope of the driveway perfectly. Rick is a man of his word and the utmost integrity. I will be having him come to replace our front fence as soon as possible. I can't say enough great things about this company. Our neighbors are all very impressed with his workmanship and I have given several referrals. Thank you Rick Kelley!

The work was great and everyone was very professional and polite. The work was completed in about an hour and a half and I am very pleased with the quality of the work.

We had three fences in between us and our back yard neighbor. Vegetation grew thick to include several trees, in between the fence lines. Rick's personnel came over immediately for an estimate. The estimate did not change from start to finish. Was not fooled, no surprise prices in the end. This organization showed patience. I had to have this fence company install pieces of the fence line in between other contractors removing trees and laying concrete. Rick's organization worked like a symphony along with the other contractors. Rick removed all old fencing and installed new fencing. He saved us some money by re-utilizing some of our old metal post. He could not warranty the old metal post, but as the owner we took that chance and understood the consequences as long as it cut cost. He was willing to work with us. The new metal posts he installed, of course, he guarantee under his warranty. He advised us on how to preserve the wood too. Professional and pleasant to work with.

I was upset that the overall price ended up costing so much more than advertised. I thought he could have been a little more professional. I felt slightly uncomfortable when he came in the house to receive his payment.

Very well, he worked with me around my work schedule to come and give a bid, then met with me afterward and expained every thing in detail. Very good work ethic and great employees.

This company made 4 appointments to look at my fence and didn't show for any of them. There were never any phone calls to let me know of any delays. Each time, I had to track them down and when I did, I got only excuses. I tried to be accomodating... but at this point, I don't feel this company is right for me. How do I get my money refunded for services never recieved?

Although we did not ultimately have Rick install our fence, we were very impressed with him when he met with us. We had no problems with his responsiveless. He came the same day we called to get an estimate. He was very professional and spent a lot of time talking to us, so we were confident with his experience and expertise. His bid was competitive. The only reason we did not use him is that we liked the design of the fence of another contractor. I would definitely recommend him to friends and neighbors, and would consider using him in the future.

They do not return phone calls or emails at all or in a timely manner. When asking to spend money on work like this, response and being able to get in touch with the business is important. If one does not want to do the work, then call them back and refuse to do the estimate.

Like many on here, Rick came out to give me an estimate and we agreed on price. He did call if he couldn't make the appt, which was fine with me. While replacing two fence post may seem small, this was a big job. That is why I called a professional to come out and do it. Rick had to bring a core drill that he used on the gate post - there had been shodding work over the years (previous owners) and the only way to get out old post (there were two embedded in cement, was to use the core drill. The 2nd post was buried in old 5000 psi concrete and I watch him manually break this out with one of those heavy bars. Let me assure you, this was no easy task. i thought Rick and his helper did a great job for a very good price. I think Rick is one of the most honest men I've met in long time. I think some of the negative reviews may have a point or two but I also do not think they are allowing for Rick's work ethic - he stays until the job is finished, which may push other jobs back. He was scheduled for my work Friday at 5pm for me, but didn't show up until Sunday. I was fine with this, but I can understand how others may get upset. Rick may not get the job done on the day agreed upon, but when it is done, rest assured, it will be done right and it will not cost you a arm and leg. The work speaks for itself. As far as he professionalism, he is old school. He is not coming out to service your A/C or fix electrical. He is the old breed of a guy. I personally liked his saltiness. If you are easily offended by a few swear words or spit, don't use him. I will use Rick again and again.

The quality of the job was good, which is why I gave him a B overall. That is the most important thing to me. Luckily, I am on vacation at the moment and am flexible in scheduling. If I was at work this week I would have had big problems from the start. He worked on his schedule, not mine. My original appointment was scheduled for noon. He called me that morning and wanted to move it up. I told him I was at the doctors, but could try to be home at 11. I got home at 10:40 and he was waiting in my driveway for me. I was not ready for him. I had a lot of stuff to load in the house, but he was ready, so it didn't seem to matter. We agreed on a price for the job, and he told me he would come back next week on Thursday, and would call ahead of time to confirm. He never called. He just showed up on Monday ready to do the job. Luckily I was home. If time is of importance to you, Rick might not be the best person to do your job. If you are at home all the time, and are flexible, he will probably work out just fine for you. I gave him a C for professionalism because in our original meeting he used profanity, and spit several times near me. He also assumed I couldn't afford to do the job that needed to be done. I had to explain multiple times that money was not an issue. I had to spell it out for him that I was not going to pay someone I didn't know hundreds (or thousands) of dollars to do a job for me. I wanted to try him out first and see if I could a good quality and value for some minor repairs. When he did the repairs, he and his associate worked neatly, cleanly and acted professional. I will probably not use him in the future. I will pay a little bit more for someone to show respect to a lady and respect my time.

With the exception of punctuality, Rick and one of his crew did an exceptional job. The job was scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. but actuality started at 5:00 p.m. When I called to ask about the hold up my call was returned in a timely manner and Rick explained that he was running late but would definitely be at my house today. He called me again when he realized that he would be later than expected. When the job was finished, Rick repaired a gate that was not on the original contract at no additional cost. I recommend this company and will use them again.

Very unprofessional!!! My mistake was not reading all the reports. Just because someone has an overall "A" doesn't mean they provided professional service to all of their customers. Spoke with Mr. Kelley and he was supposed to come out Saturday to give me an estimate. He couldn't give me a specific time but said it would be after 12 but before 5. I waited all afternoon... no one came... no one called. I tried to contact him at 5:45 and reached his voice mail. Still no call back. I don't want to do business with someone who is unreliable and unprofessional.

I got them off Angie's List and it was fantastic. They were really good. They came on time and provided a detailed quote, and the final cost met the exact quote. They cleaned up beautifully when they were done. The fence is just gorgeous. They were just a pleasure to work with.

The job was excellent overall. It took longer than expected because of Rick's concern for protection of property and his pride of workmanship. I offered to pay Rick for the extra time spent on the job, but he declined.

Rick performed a repair on my fence that was damaged when a drunkard went on a rampage in the neighborhood. I personally dealt with Rick and he and his staff were very helpful and straight forward. Initially he came out and gave me a quote and explained that he would be using better materials than what my fence was originally built with. I appreciate this because he laid it all out and was not vague or unclear. He honored the quote when I called back a few weeks later and scheduled the work. He came out and fixed the fence while I was at work and left the invoice at my residence. The work appears to be very good and he and his staff cleaned up all the waste material. He appears to be very busy due to being highly rated, but still fit me in, and that says a lot. I will gladly seek his services in the future.

An associate came out on time to give an estimate of the cost and scheduled a time for later in the week to start the removal. We were contacted the day the fence should have been removed and told that it would need to be a few days latter due to another job running long. They showed up on time and removed and hauled off our old fence and set the poles for our new fence. They came back on time to install the new fence 24 hours later and I could not be happier with quality of the work done. I know some of the other customers were put off by lack of punctuality, but I commend the work ethic to do the job right even if it takes longer than estiamted. Will be using them again to add a 2nd gate we decided we wanted after the original job was completed.

Thanks to him we didn't waste our supplies and have a beautiful fence job.

Everything went well. Mr. Kelley did an excellent job and was very reliable during the entire project.

I selected this fence company due to the ratings on Angie's List and availability. I have high expectations when it comes to communication because I specifically ask for it. I received an initial return call fairly quickly and an appt was set for an estimate. The estimator arrived 30 minutes early. I was given the estimate and I told them I would call back to approve the work. I did and was told that work would "likely start" that weekend, but I would get a call before work commenced. Work did not start that weekend. When I called the next week (Monday) to follow up and mention that Okie had not come out yet, they told me that work was scheduled for tomorrow, but they would postpone until Okie came out. Okie came out the next day (Tuesday). I called the day after that (Wednesday) and they said that work could start on Thursday, but likely Friday. Work started on Wednesday without any call to me to let me know. The posts needed to set for 48 hours and I did not know if they would be back Friday, Saturday or later to finish the work. I did not get any calls as promised to let me know when work would happen. The fence was finished the following Monday. Overall the speed of work was acceptable, but the communication was chaos for me. They asked to collect 1/2 after the posts were set. I said that I preferred to pay in full when the job was complete. They accepted this and continued the work since it was not agreed upon in advance. The fence work was nicely done and the area was left clean. The only issue I had with the work was that they did not connect the South fence to the new fence, so it was just hanging. I asked them to fix that before they left (and before I paid) and they did without any additional charge. Although I wonder what would have happened if I had not been there because I did not get the information when work would occur.
