I had a good experience. I had trouble getting him scheduled, but it actually wasn’t his fault. He’s got government contracts that he was trying to fulfill. They came all at once, so he was behind. Once he showed up he would be here on time. They finished it in 2 days. It was a good length stretch of fence and they came in they put in the post, they came back the next day and hung the fence. They were great.

Rick is very conscientious, knows what he's doing and believes in doing the job right. His price for the time he spent on our project was very reasonable. I couldn't be happier.

He was more than an hour late for the estimate and never came back or called when it was time to do the work, and I had taken time off work to be there, He was extremely rude and disrespectful when I met with him. I had to tell him not to touch me. He spit in my driveway. I would never consider him again.

He did a good job. He was two hours late and had to send his assistant to get new posts because he brought the wrong ones

Great work. Came across problems removing the old fence due to problems from the previous installer, so they came out another day to get the job done.

The resulting fence is very good. I did have a few small issues. First, the crew left a good deal of debris behind for me to clean up (plant detritus, old concrete—apparently earlier fence repairs had left behind debris as well). There was no effort to even organize it into a pile, leaving it spread out on the ground. The crew also left an open fence post hole which I had to fill. Lastly, they forgot to cap all of the steel posts, and I had to call to get that done. It was, however, taken care of promptly. Overall, there just seemed to be some unnecessary sloppiness compared to earlier fence jobs that I have experienced.

Made an appointment and never showed up. There was no communication or explanation.

Excellent job and did it in one day.

Mr. Kelley showed up when he said he would and took less time to remove and construct a new section of fence. He and his crew stayed on the job until it was totally completed. He had to work around old trees, rotting tree roots and mature shrubs. He used quality materials and covered the fence posts. Would absolutely hire him again.

This is the most beautiful, well built fence I've ever seen! We couldn't be more pleased. Rick and his guys were awesome!

Although he was late getting to our house he did an outstanding job. He used quality materials and made the fence onsite. It looks great. Would recommend to a friend.

His scheduled time to do the job was lousy ! I requested a Friday and he was a no show,His office called and said he would be out Saturday . Saturday Rick calls stating the hot weather slowed his work down and would come out Sunday.Said he would be out by 9;00 . I call at 2;00 and his secretary said he is on the way ! No explanation for no show @ 9:00??? The guy shows up at 4;30 PM and completes the job by flashlights at 9; 45 PM.. He apologized for the problems as he did maintenance on his equipment all week ! Never showed the courtesy to call.. His work was very good but his scheduling was pathetic!!. For this reason I would not hire or recommend Rick Kelley Fence co. again !

Good clean job cleaned up looks great even fixed a nother spot on the fence he wasn't working on. Good company

They answered our call quickly and setup a date to come by and do our fence post. I liked that they did not require you be home and could come out as they were in this location and fix the post. I was home when they came on the day they said they would. They were quick and efficient. They removed the old broken post and quickly replaced it with a new one. They did not have to disturb the rest of the fence around it. They were quick, efficient and cleaned up. We will use them again for fence problems or replacement.

prompt response to my angie's list inquiry. matt provided a prompt estimate. cost was comparable and a little less than other estimates. crew was professional ( it was the company owner rick supervising and completing the job ). very personable folks. we felt as if rick was very interested in doing a great job. work was full on once they got to it and there was no lag until they completed the job, and it was i believe, not an easy one. tear out was complex with a lot of heavey brush and shrubs. there was also some tight areas with easy damage potential. they took care of our's and our neighbor's property, not leaving damage even though rick was using a bobcat backhoe. i'd have to say "above and beyond expectations". it's not often these days that you find someone that takes pride in their work. i believe rick does. no negatives.

They are prompt, get it fixed, and do a good job. The service was excellent. I would use them again.

Service was great and very professional, but scheduling was the hardest thing. I had to call several times to schedule because I couldn't reach anyone. However, once the appointment was scheduled, everything went great. My mom met someone at my house and said they were very professional and fixed the fence quickly. Also gave me an estimate on total fence replacement.

It went great. This is the third time I've hired Rick Kelley Fence Co. A couple of years ago he replaced some fencing and a gate for me. Then last fall I wanted an additional gate installed where there hadn't been a gate before. It was on a slope and the bottom of the gate had to be specially cut for the slope. At the time he was installing that gate I mentioned I was planning on having some tree trimming done in my yard at a later date and I wanted this new gate to provide better access for whoever did my tree trimming. He said even though he's mainly a fence company he also can trim trees. So I had him do a bid this spring for the tree work and I ended up choosing his company for this also. Each time I've hired him he's done excellent work for a reasonable price. He's knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to answer my questions about the work.

It worked out fine. I think it was a little expensive for what we had done but they did a good job and they did it quickly. We are satisfied with the work. I felt like for what they did it should not have cost that much. It took them about an hour to do the work. They did have to buy some parts with what they did was move a gate. The materials they had to have was may be an extra post. Once they contacted me and we set up a time they got it done really fast. They charged too much for the amount of work that was done other than that they did a good job. I did contact them it was during the holidays and it took them longer than it said that they would to contact me but once they did it was fine.

He came out to do the quote within a day of contact and proposed ideas for what we wanted. After we accepted the bid, the work was started in a couple of days and completed a few days after that. Installation was well done and went above and beyond to remove a tree that was in the way at no charge and level out an area to better install the fence. Even came out on a Sunday for a few last details. We will be using Rick Kelley fence again on another project after this.

Rick came out to do an estimate on a Saturday morning with short notice. His estimate was accurate and less than competitors. He setup everything and made helpful suggestions along the way.

Requested a quote to fix a damaged corner post and rail on a cyclone fence as well as tighten and stretch a lengthy portion of the fence. Matt came out the next day and the repair was done shortly after that. The quote was more than reasonable and the work was perfect! Fence looks great!

Project was completed ahead of schedule. Looks great!

After this "fix" failed, I called again on 10-3-2014 and asked for them to come back to fix the failed attempt to fix and was promised a return visit. Rick apologized for being very busy and forgetting. Rick asked me to call him on Sat 10-4-2014 and remind him to come out, due to the fact that he was very busy and would probably forget (huh?). I called him at noon on 10-4-2014, only to never hear a word from him all day. I stayed home all day to wait for him. On Monday, 10-6-2014 I called the office and spoke to his wife. She was very apologetic and promised me this was not the way they did business and they have been very busy not to mention a family member to be very ill. I then heard from Matt, who asked me "now what is it you need done ?" (huh huh?). He nor Rick never came (stayed home again), nor did I get a phone call. I then proceeded to call a few days later and verbally yell "* * * is wrong with you guys". I was not happy with my behavior and have no excuse for that. Especially knowing there is an ill family member needing to be tended to. Just don't call these guys.
