Very satisfied. Very professional and excellent communication throughout the entire process.

First, my property had not been painted for 15+ years. I was very pleased with the quality of work that was done. There were some things that I wasn't quite as pleased with, but the owner of the company was very much hands on and quite literally oversaw that portion to my complete satisfaction. Because of that, I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone who puts a priority on how the finished product looks. They practice customer satisfaction. I am proud of how they made my property look.

They had to delay their start date by one day but once they got here they moved quickly and cleanly. I hired them after a poor experience with a non Angie's List painting company. They really did an outstanding job. My home is very old and they made it look fabulous this it's new paint.

It went great from the time I called to schedule to the estimate to the completed job. They were all very nice and on time which was very professional. They even accommodated for me by finishing up on the weekend. Eric, the one who prepped and painted did a great job and was very nice explaining all he had to do. Even better, was the clean up by Eric. He did an excellent job of cleaning up (a very dirty job) after the work was completed. Highly recommend!!!

First rate all the way. My home I purchased was built in 1960 and there is a lot of crown molding and trim around the kitchen and very large pillars in the kitchen. They painted the kitchen and trim and painted the living room with built in bookcase and cabinets. The bedrooms were both painted with all the trim which was quite extensive. They did a wonderful job.

I have used Ray the Painter on several projects and their work is excellent. Their painters are very knowledgeable and courteous and professional. The work was done when they said it would be done, they worked extra time at our convenience to get things done ASAP. All and all they are very fast and efficient. They even offer professional and skilled solutions to painting. We wanted our garage doors painted to give a wood look, and they offered solutions, listened to our critics on color, and executed it beautifully. They even touched it up at no charge a couple days later, when the company installing roof scratched it accidentally. My only negative had to do with a miscommunication between their workers and their front office. However, the manager listened to my explanation and displeasure and replied very professionally. Some of the misunderstanding was even on my end, but instead of getting combative she focused on customer service. This is definitely a lost art in the home repair services industry. Miscommunications are going to happen and so are mistakes on both ends of the deal sometimes. Giving people the benefit of the doubt, reasonably debating the issue, and handling communications with professionalism is a hallmark of a good company because nobody is perfect all the time. Just making it right when you are not perfect is all I ever want in a company. For that they kept their A rating in professionalism, when it could have easily been a D or F in most cases. Also, I've recommended them to others, so giving a little here and there usually gains in the end. Good job Ray the Painter!!!

Today is the first day on the job. So far, so good. The office keeps me posted about timing to paint outside in the winter, estimator was perfectly professional and the workers start today. They came on time. They are friendly and pleasant, they went to work immediately.......looking good. I'll let you know how things are when they finish, with pictures.

All of the employees from the bid to the work completed were professional and responded to my questions and concerns.

Went very smoothly. 1st day they were a bit late but that was to be expected. Second day they were right on time. As they went along they found a couple of bricks that were loose pointed out that they needed repair. They also found that the inside garage door was lacquer and needed a different kind of paint. A first they said it would be $30 extra but charged $130. I talked to the business office the next day and they took the entire $130 off of the bill. Good business dealings! They cleaned up the area well after the job. Now it is just wait and see how the paint holds up.

The provider did an excellent job on the specialty paint job. My wife meticulously inspected the work and did not find a thing she wasn't happy with. I wholeheartedly recommend Ray the painter for any job you may have.

Pricy but they did a good job. They only sent one painter so the job took two days instead of the one that I was expecting. The painter was skilled and had high standards. He was congenial to deal with.

They do great work and I'm very pleased with them! Their pricing is competitive or maybe a little cheaper. They do repair work, too, which is why I like them. They'll fix any repairs, no questions asked. Scheduling is very straightforward. I've used the same person each time and they're very personable and professional. I really appreciate that there's one crew that does the estimate and another to do the actual work.

There was some sort of mix up with the scheduling. I got an email on the scheduled morning after the scheduled time. The email stated that they attempted to call me the day before and earlier that morning to reschedule. I think they got the wrong phone number or something. When they did arrive on the new scheduled day, they were on time and their work area was very well kept. They did quality work and it was fast! I am very happy with the overall look and the particular attention they paid to caulking. Everything looks amazing. There were a few bits of trash that were overlooked during the cleanup but nothing that was a big deal. Overall I couldn't be happier and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. It would've taken me days to do what they did in only 1 day. They were actually scheduled for 2 days and finished in 1.

Very Professional, courteous, taped up the house so that no paint was allowed to get on any area where it was not supposed to be, and cleaned up the jobsite thoroughly when finished. They asked for our input as they progressed to make sure we were satisfied with their work.

Everything went very well, from preparation to cleanup. Great job overall. Looks really nice.

The employee who came and completed the estimate arrived on time as scheduled. He was very knowledgeable and completed the estimate in approximately 10-15 minutes. He asked me what I would like done to the house and explained how the painting process would go. He detailed how the surfaces would be prepared, how the paint would be applied, type of material used, and how long the project would take. The estimator also provided pointers on how to prep the paint surface and seal joints in case I wanted to perform some of the prep work myself. I was not to keen on the fact a spray gun would be used to paint the house. The house was originally painted by spray gun and the coverage/quality was very poor. I prefer hand rolled painting because the paint is not watered down and coverage is more consistent. This is just a preference of mine and I know most painting companies use spray guns these days. Overall, the estimate went very well. I received a written estimate a few days later, via e-mail, with the estimated price. I ultimately decided to paint the exterior of the house myself. I felt the price was to high for what I was needing done. My home is all brick except for the trim, garage door, and eaves of the house. I can complete the project myself for less than a quarter of the estimated price. I was very pleased with the customer service provided. The price was the only thing keeping me from using this company.

The crew showed up when they said they would. Got the job done within the expected timeframe. Left the area clean. We felt the price was fair for the work performed. Having them back this summer for some additional work.

Overall we were satisfied. Dan is attentive and aims to please the customer. However, his crew's attention to detail was a little lacking (for my standards...my husband did not notice some missed spots). Dan was quick to return and complete the job. This was 3 years ago and the paint still looks good.
