Ray the Painter

This was a fresh coat on top of the same color. They matched the color perfectly. The two painters were an affective team; one did taping while the other got the paint and patched any little holes. They completed the work in good time and cleaned up after themselves. The rooms looked great.

They provided a professional paint job at a reasonable price. Everyone I interacted with was personable, polite, and respectful. I would definitely use them again.

Couldn’t get to me for a couple of months. Won’t call again.

The deck was power washed and treated when the weather cooperated. The garage ceiling was repaired and painted. Great job on both!

Robert and Bobby were great. Amy and Debi were also great. Amy with the estimate and Debi to help us decide on the paint color. We have used Ray the Painter several times in the past and have always been pleased with the outcomes and with working with them personally.

After a walkthrough Kyle with Ray the Painter, came up with a game plan of dividing the job into three phases. Phase one was the two bedrooms and bathroom on the east side. Phase two was the office and master bedroom and bathroom. Phase three was the living room, dining room, kitchen and laundry room. With this game plan we were able to stay in our house the whole time which we really appreciated. In each phase they covered everything with plastic which took a lot of time. Then they removed the popcorn, removed all the plastic and cleaned everything up. The ceilings had to dry overnight. The next day they would put drop cloths down and tape everything off, and then paint the ceilings and walls. Then they would remove everything and clean up. They did an excellent job and were very considerate through the whole process. Kyle said the game plan would take six days and he was right on it. I was very impressed with him and his crew. I would recommend them for any paint job you need done. We would definitely use them again.

They arrived on time and finished in a timely manner. They were pleasant, polite, helpful. The estimator was prompt and experienced.

We had several rain delays but always rescheduled in a reasonable time. Very professional and great clean up. Ray The Painter always does a first class job for me. I would not consider anyone else for my painting needs.

Very well. They were punctual each day. The project took from Monday to Friday. Doors and drawers were removed and taken to their shop for painting. They applied primer and three coats of finish. Prep work in our home was done very thoroughly to avoid any damage. This took two men two days! The frames and bases were primed and given three coats of finish also. On Friday all were put back and a thorough clean up.

Did not hire them way, way too expensive. $100 to paint one side of a plain inside door? Forget it!

I really got behind in writing this review but here goes. They job was to paint my living room (including window). sills and crown baseboards) and my bedroom (including window sills. I could not be happier with the job they did! On time, organized, perfect prep and cleanup and the results are wonderful. I definitely recommend this company and I will be using them again!

From the first call to get an estimate to the final sign-off of the project, Ray the Painters people were a pleasure to deal with. The crew ( Eric and Ruby ) were on time or early everyday and moved the couch and big chair and of course the TV back into place for the evening. They certainly had a challenge when they walked in the door because it had been 18 years since the last paint job. They looked it over, got a game plan and four days later, I have a beautiful paint job. I would highly recommend them.

When I first called the person who answer the phone was to busy to "deal " with me and told me to call back later. She did not ask me to call back but told me to call back later. very rude. I normally would not have bothered with this company, but I guess they had caller id because someone different (Debi ) called me back. She did apologized for the way I was treaded, so I set up an appointment for a free estimate. Debi told me that Amy (the owner of the company ) would come out for the estimate. The estimate went alright. I didn't have a lot of time to get into details with her, but she did a look around and told me they would sent me the estimate by email in a couple of days. A week goes by and nothing. I finally get a call from Debi asking me if I had any question about the estimate and I told her I had not gotten anything yet. 2 hours later I get the estimate. They were wonting to charge me for several things I didn't ask for at all. And there was not even a total dollar amount on it. Just a "guess" of what they think it might be. So I called Debi up to find out what was going on, Why they were going to charge me for things I never said I wanted and not even bothering to give me an actual dollar amount. And she was in a meeting. I calling again the next day and she had already left for the day. The company is only open form 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and I called at 2:30 pm. I called again the next day and then they offered to send me to her voice mail. I didn't even know she had one. the next day I called Debi again. and she said they didn't want to deal with someone like me. When I told her about the horrible customer service I have had from the start she said I was not considered a customer at all.

It went real well. They did a great job. They did very good. They have great reputation.

I had 2 estimates. Ray is number 1 in your listing and the other one was right below it. I don't know what it was but there was a thousand dollars difference in the estimates so I went with the lower one. Ray's was a thousand dollars more than the other one. They both came out, and both of them were very, very pleasant; if it had been just a few dollars different, but a thousand different for the same work. Very, very nice gentlemen, but his price was higher than I expected. This guy was $1500 & I paid 8 years ago when I moved in I paid $1200 to have the same thing painted. So I felt like $1500 was pretty reasonable for the same work. That's where I went with my mind. They both are very responsive; came out almost immediately within the week. I didn't have any trouble. Punctuality was all good; they got here when they told me they would.

I thought it was a little pricey. It was just straight walls and it was like $800.00. It was just the exterior. There were two doors and one window, so it was mainly walls. We didn't have them do the eves or anything. I would probably shop around because of the price, but would use them again. We didn't have any problems with a mess or anything like that.

From my initial contact with the office to the finished project, everyone at Ray the Painter was friendly, professional and responsive. Very quick to answer emails about the project, too. Kevin arrived on time and was a pleasure to speak with. He explained what he would be doing and after matching the paint and picking it up at the store, went right to work. He made sure to protect all our walls and furnishings and not a drop of paint went where it wasn't suppose to go, not even on the cement patio under the door casings. He did a fantastic job for us. I would hire Ray the Painter (and Kevin) again in a heart beat. Job well done.

Great! They were on time, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. They sent pictures of what the building looked like after it was painted.

NOT WELL< Paint is all over all my antique silk shantung curtain, carpet, walls spotchy, paint on yoga blocks. I am having them come out a fifth time to see if it can ever be repaired. They are dragging their heels and making this more and more of a pain. holes for shades were not redone and had a valance fall on me. paiters tape, although I have no idea where to they placed it as there is pain on cabinets all window sills, it's horrible. Jon the supervisor is insulant and Amy will never return calls. Now the billing person wants to get the cheapest person to do the shades. At this point I want all my things replaced that are damaged beyond repair, and a full refund to hire someone else.
