Description of Work: He has been here twice. Once in 2012 and once in 2013. The charges were reasonable. The first time he had to get a part for the refrigerator. In a matter of a day he was back. He charged what he quoted. Second time h was able to repair when he came out. Couldn't ask for any better.

Description of Work: I called with a description of what my front-loader washing machine was doing - loud, screeching noise with little bits of white plastic loose in the machine. He told me he knew exactly what that was - and that he could fix it, but it wouldn't stay fixed - he recommended that we just buy a new machine since the cost of repair would put us in the same ballpark as buying new. He then went on to say (and this is where he lost me) that all front loaders had this problem and lasted on average of about 5 years. That did not sound right to me, so I called another repairman. The new repairman came out, looked at the machine and showed me where the plastic just under the rubber gasket had become gnarly - probably due to something (a coin, nail, etc.) getting stuck between the gasket and this plastic and the friction of the turning tub caused the plastic to be rubbed (causing the screeching) and turn into little nubs of plastic bits. He checked out the machine and pronounced it sound - didn't think it would be necessary to get a new plastic piece since it was just a little rough on the edge. Anyway, he only charged $45.00 for the service call. I've done a few loads since and have had no problem. I'm not sure why Mark's would not take the time to even make a service call - but I won't be giving them a second chance.

Description of Work: No services performed. We were unable to schedule a service call. We phoned Mark and told him we needed repair on a stove top burner. He said he would call back when he was able to schedule an appointment. One week later, we call again and got no answer, leaving a message on his answering maching. We called again one week later. Same result...no answer - left message. One week later ... same result. No answer - left message. Apparently, Mark has more business than he can handle. Taking no new customers.

Description of Work: I updated the kitchen and needed a new dishwasher installed, the oven blower replaced and the new cooktop wired. They came out when promised and completed all work in a timely manner. They were great. The majority of the cost was the blower motor $249.

Description of Work: GE Arctica side-by-siderefrigerator temperature malfunctioned due to baffle failure. Refrigerator side flooded with freezing air. I've used Mark's before and called. Harvey ordered part without having to come out first. Within three days, part arrived and replaced. Refrigerator working normally now.
