The price was well below what others had quoted and was the same thick (3cm) granite. They were very easy to work with when scheduling and picking the material. In those respects they were great and I will likely use them again. For the cons, they showed up a couple hours early which didn't work with my schedule so my wife had to leave work. Admittedly, I was supposed to be home all day but my flight had been delayed several times. The installers forgot to cut out the piece for our windowsill above the sink so they had to come back several hours later with what they had just whipped up. Not only that but they only sent one installer so I had to help him get it up there without damaging everything in the path. Overall professionalism of the installers was nonexistent. They used my ladder without asking, just grabbing it from my garage. I constantly had to close the door behind them as they left it wide open the entire time I was there. Unfortunately the one installer they sent later could not speak or understand english so that was interesting as well. All in all, I'm still pleased. They really need to train their install crew in dealing with people and dos and donts but the price was great for what I see to be an equal end product.

Design phase and picking out granite went great. Also, the price is hard to beat. However, during install they cracked a long piece of granite while my wife was watching the install. Then tried to tell her that it was 'normal' to have granite crack during the install and that they would fix it so you couldn't tell. She let them try to fix it and it was obviously cracked through the entire way (could see crack all the way around). She then called company who said they would look at it and determine if it was caused by their folks, after my wife saw and heard the granite crack as they were installing it. L&L called back and said they thought it was normal and didn't think it was a big deal. We had to go back and forth, they finally agreed to replace the piece. So good on them for finally getting to that point, bad on them for trying to con us into taking an obviously cracked piece of granite and then further trying to get us to re-accept that same piece. Additionally they completely destroyed our drywall/backsplash. I was expecting there to be some damage but not the extent that their was. Again, they told me it was 'normal' for that much damage. Every contractor I had come through to give quotes on redoing the backsplash were appalled at the level of damage they caused during the install. Overall Price is good, selection is good. Install, dirty, dusty and they don't clean up very well. The install crew is hard to communicate with as their english is not so good, but the folks at the main shop are easy to talk to.

They were fast and the lowest priced in the city. My only complaint would be that they left a lot of trash in my driveway, including large chunks of rock that I ran over accidentally.

Delivered and installed granite that had 2 easy-to-recognize, noticeable flaws, one of which was "open" and almost flakey. When I complained, the installers tried to pass it off as "that's just granite". Bottom line: Faye got authorization to remove the granite countertop and refund my money. That could have been a good option. However, I had just paid a trim carpenter to raise my counter a few inches taller (expensive but nice work). I could get no guarantee that L&L would pay to have the trim carpenter redo any damage done to the new woodwork in removing the granite. So I kept the blemished granite - they knocked off only $109.00 of a $918.00 job. Somewhere along the line somebody really dropped the ball. Faye had been knowledgeable and pleasant - don't know who makes the decisions there. Will try to post photos.

We bought the granite from a young man named Jason. He was very nice and knowledgeable It was a pleasure working with him. The man who came to measure was very nice and seemed to be very jknowledgeable. Very pleased with him. The 2 men who came to install were not careful with anything. They gauged my window frame and said little paint would would fix. These men spoke very little English and were very difficult to understand. I paid them al. The balance due except for 100.00 and told them I would get the window frame repaired and send them what was left of the 100.00. They were not happy and finally when my husband came out and I showed the window to him, they took my check and left. The charge for the repair was 75.00 and I will send them a copy of the bill and the 25.00

The price was great, cabinet selection is limited but there are nice options, and the granite is very nice. After that it was all down hill. During the removal one of the workers dropped part of the cabinet on my dining room hutch causing significant damage, they offered to put a trim piece on the hutch (it didn't look any better) and that was the best they were willing to do. Next during removal they busted a waterline behind a wall. The water line was visible the worker was being careless, I shut the water off for the house, they finished their work and left. They were going to start installing the new cabinets and I was left with fixing the waterline before they returned. They destroyed the backsplash and drywall leaving large gouges the size of baseballs in the wall. The island was supposed to be a different color cabinets and granite from the rest of the kitchen and that wasn't done. I was very disappointed about that. After installation was complete I have noticed points where the cabinet were joined there are a lot of the finish nails are visible inside the cabinet (the nail missed the wall), the finish nail holes were not filled, and a trim piece fell off a couple days after install. I also noticed when installing the hardware the cabinet door and drawer details are not the same size. They are between a 1/4 to 1/2 an inch different, hard to notice unless measuring but then once I realized the difference in sizes I see it everytime I look at it. I have pictures of the damage to my waterline, hutch and exposed nails. One of the workers took frequent smoke breaks and as they were leaving I had them clean the cigerette butts that were all over my yard. I would also mention when the owner was helping with the removal everything went well, after he left is when the problems start. In addition Faye was very helpful at setting up the design, knowledgable, and very easy to work with. I wouldn't hire them for anything beyond counter top installation; the great price isn't worth it, you will get what you pay for.

Things started well, but the installers struggled with the weight of the granite and my wife snd I thought they were going to break the cabinets trying to get thd granite placed. The cabinets were stressed and by that I mean BENT and were moved back and forth as the countertop was FORCED into position. All of the granite pieces were a struggle. Finally, thinking I was making them nervous, I went outside and let them work. The workers spoke little or no English and the Chinese accent was so strong I was unable to communicate. We were pleased with the work and told them so. Shortly after they left we began to find the damage thet had done and it was devastating. Two cabinet doors were broken, an end panel was broken. A top rail of one cabinet was cracked. The next morning we called the company and asked for an owner or manager of the company to come by and look at the damage. I am unsure of the status of the young man who accompanied one of the installers but he came ready to deny all liability. My wife and I were both insulted, the man yelled at us, the non english speaking man yelled at us. I had to tell them to leave and feared the experience might get worse. I had to tell them several times to leave. The non English speaking man had to be told to 'Get out now'! I guess I will see them in court

Their price stood out to me. The edge was included in the price and you get to pick what kind of edge you wanted. They put in our new sink and the price of the sink was cheaper than other companies because I've checked some other companies and they were the best for foot and for the sink and how they figured the tear out and how they figured cutting the holes for the sink and stuff. They were the best price. They were good. They got me what I wanted, I had two seams and one seam you can't even see it. I have to look for it to find it. The other one isn't bad, I can see it pretty quick though, I can spot it quicker but it's not bad, it's not ugly. I could see somebody that drew a picky, maybe gripped but for me, for the pattern of granite we got and stuff. Their responsiveness was fine, in fact they came in Labor Day. They were supposed to come on the Monday or Tuesday, 2 is after the Labor Day and they called and said, "Can we come in Labor day?" I said, "Are you sure? Go! Come on." so they came and they were in my place, they got that thing ripped out, they got it done and I wanted those little scrap pieces because I do art and they suggest here and they gave me other scrap pieces of other colors. They were wonderful. Only one of them can speak English but other than that wasn't an issue because we just talk to them and they were fine. Their punctuality is real good. They were there really early. Their professionalism were fine.

We had shopped around for prices on this project and their quote was excellent ( less money than Big Box stores or other kitchen shops.) Their location and building look sketchy but they have a good showroom inside. You can go in the back and pick out your slab of granite. You can pick out the type of edge you would like on your countertop. They were very polite in the store and the man that came out to measure was thorough and pleasant. They installed 62.94 square feet of granite, put in a new sink and cut out a hole for a cook top. The installers were efficient and did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. We are very pleased with our new countertops and will use them again in our bathrooms. They give a discount for a cash payment.

I selected this vendor based on Angie's List feedback, and everything went as great as the previous posts related. Low cost, and good quality work. Be sure to check the details attached to the contract to ensure that all custom cuts and specifications are indicated on the attached diagram before signing. The only disappointment we experienced was that, as is the nature of granite, our counter top contained a crystal strip that was of a slightly different color in a rather obvious place. It only became apparent after installation and polishing. I don't know if L&L could have caught this in their process, however, my advice to the reader is to check the pieces closely after delivery but before they are fixed in place.

Had never heard of this particular company until I came across the information here on Angie's List. Saw they had great ratings so I figured I'd give them a call. They were very helpful as far as customer service, questions answered, opinions, etc. They were very responsive to having someone come out to measure for an estimate as well as returning the call with the actual cost/estimate. One other thing that was nice is that they allowed us to save some money by both ripping out our own countertops, backsplash and sink. Being a little handy with demo, we jumped on this. They even gave an additional discount if you paid all cash! Was more than willing as it helped save another $100+. There were really only two drawbacks that I found: 1-As others stated, the language barrier can be a little difficult at times, especially with the install crew. However, they were incredibly quick and efficient. As most communication was handled by Faye in the office and David (came out to measure and make template), this wasn't AS big of a deal. However, there were a few questions the day of install that could've been answered a little better. At the end of the day, they finished our entire kitchen (~40-45 sq ft) in just over 2 hours and did great work. 2-Following the installation, I found three spots on my drywall in a hallway that had been damaged during the time when the granite was being brought in. This irked me more so due to the fact that none of the installers mentioned this during the course of the install OR before they left. Difficulty speaking English or not, they could've at least pointed this out to me and made me aware. Fortunately the damage was minimal and an easy fix. In calling Faye to discuss some type of remedy, she was very willing to help get it resolved. If you're looking in OKC for new granite countertops, it is definitely worth a look at L&L. For us, they had the best price (by about $7-800+), didn't charge for the edge/finishing as most everywhere else did and had same if not better selection than Builders Warehouse and others we checked (all granite was 3cm). DEFINITELY CHECK THEM OUT!

They came in and took about 20 minutes to do the measurements of the old ones. They called me 2 weeks later and said they were ready. They came in and put in the cabinets and island and were here for less than 2 hours. It was amazing. I thought it would be a day to take out old countertops and put in new ones. They also put a sink in. It was a great job. The whole job was about 2.5 hours from measuring to taking out the old and putting in the new countertops. I'm going to use them again when I do my bathroom. Their prices were so much less on the very same granite than other big box stores.

The folks at L&L were fantastic. We just needed our bathroom counter replaced and some of the other folks on town either wanted much more in price then L&L or they were interested because it was a small job. We picked out the slab at their store front, they sent a tech out to measure and their install crew was very fast! The only issue was day of install they got backed up, but honestly, when doesn't that happen?! I have already suggested them to friends and plan on using their services for our kitchen.
Description of Work: Installed bathroom granite countertop
I had read the reviews and knew of the language issues but was confident that this would not be a problem. The granite is beautiful. They were efficient and nice. The cost was amazing. BUT there was a HUGE miscommunication. The man that came to my home to measure and finalize everything was friendly and likable. There was not much discussion once I showed him the vanities. He drew sketches of the install with the sinks in each center. There was an X in the center of ea sink ( like x marks the spot). Well, in this case the x must have meant NO. When the counters arrived they only have 2 in. edge on one side and 17 in. on the other side. I was shocked and kept telling the delivery man, no. He kept repeating " more space" and patting on the wider side. He would point and say "drawers". I do not know if the drawers and sink we're not compatible but I do know this is NOT what I expected. I should have asked more questions.
Description of Work: We had two separate single vanities in one bathroom and had them install granite countertops. These were new vanities so there was no demolition nor plumbing issues.

Overall they did an excellent job. Very easy to deal with at their warehouse and very friendly. Their prices are so much better than anyone else we found in town. It wasn't even close. They had a good selection of granite in each price range. We are very pleased with their work and it was an outstanding value. Because we saved so much money with them, we were able to get a new garbage disposal and dishwasher. We would definitely use L&L again.
Description of Work: Removed two levels of tile and formica counter tops. Removed two levels of tile back splash. Installed top of the line granite counter tops with an under mount sink. One seam and it is very well done. They get in there and don't stop until they are done. Did the entire job, tear out and installation in two hours.

They were as previously advertised on your site. Mine was an outdoor kitchen with three different counter tops, all with irregular shapes. They showed me all the granite options they had. They gave me samples to take home. They worked well with me and my contractor and they set up all the appropriate dates in advance. They were extremely efficient and prepared. My contractor said he had never seen an installation go so fast. Clean up was provided. We are very happy with the entire project. A purchaser with this company does need to be patient with the workmen in regards to language clarity but just keep repeating or asking questions until you are comfortable that you understand what is being said. The sales person at their business is excellent at explaining the project, the product and the procedure for your project and her English is perfect. Will definitely use and recommend L&L Kitchen and Bath again.
Description of Work: They provided advice and a large variety of options. They measured for a accurate estimate. They followed up with someone to make the template and worked with my contractor to determine options. They set all dates at one time in the beginning so I could plan my time appropriately. They set the granite and cleaned up.

1st off their pricing is very good. We were going to go with a Martha Stewart Corian at $68 per sq. foot and ended up finding L&L at half that price for their "regularly" priced granite. Then we spotted a particular piece of their upper tier granite and couldn't resist it. It was still $13 per sq. foot cheaper and they don't up-charge for edge finish like the big box stores do so that was a bonus. L&L is not very good at working with you on how to cut the granite for the seams. We were told that the biggest piece would have two seams which we already had pretty much planned on so that was no real surprise. When discussing this with them I asked about the most obvious one of the two in our layout and asked if they could cut it a certain way to make the grain match (I explained what I wanted on the actual slab we were getting). They said that they couldn't cut it that way, it would require two seams, but it would still look good. When they show up to install guess what? The biggest piece only has one seam in it! Now that would be great but... naturally they place the seam in the area that is the focal point of the bar! On the other end where nobody would ever think a thing about it? There is no seam. Like I said before, we were planning on a seam being there so it's not the end of the world. But it is disappointing to see that there could have been no seam at all on the largest section in the most obvious area of our kitchen/dining area. I suspected when I was asking that they were trying to utilize the granite left over after our install to be in the biggest pieces possible for other sales. I don't know if that's the case now or not since it showed up with exactly what I was wanting them to do and them telling they couldn't do it, only it was reversed. In the end they do look nice and is probably no worse than anyone else would have done. The installation guys do good work leveling and seaming but they are not real detail oriented. Here are my issues. I have two small pieces on each side of our glass top electric range. Two issues here: 1) They could have cut it for a closer fit to the glass top of the range and 2) the edges here are not highly polished at all. I'll probably polish them myself. It really wouldn't be an issue but with as much gap as they left it is noticeable. Had they cut it "tighter" it would not be an issue at all. Another issue with the installation was the mess. We had all the cabinets cleaned out thankfully, but under the sink was where I placed my almost new garbage disposal after I tore out the old countertops. It was covered in "mud" from them cutting the sink cutout. It took me an hour to get it looking respectable again and I had to do a lot of cleaning under the sink. I know it's a messy job, but they could have done a lot better. Also, just have them forgo the sealing altogether and do it yourself. They just apply a few sprays of some cheap 6 month sealer in random spots anyway as kind of an afterthought. It most certainly isn't sealed properly. Go down to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy the good Dupont 5 year sealer and do it yourself, it's not hard. I stated that I would use them again based on hindsight being 20/20. If it were another large kitchen job I'd take a look at others but if L&L had the granite I wanted and since I now know to communicate my requirements to them, I'd purchase from them again. They will probably deliver a quality job to you with this in mind. I'm going to be doing my bathroom counters and will likely have them replaced by L&L. Their pricing is just too good to pass up. I gave them a C rating on quality because a B- wasn't an option. If the detail on measuring and the edge finishing by my range were a little better I would have considered their installation a solid B or possibly an A-. This would have me putting their overall at a B rating.
