In a field that sometimes, well most times fights for integrity, Jeromy Carter Roofing can stand tall. He was timely, honest and did what he said he would do. His company will handle all my roofing needs in the future.

I would highly recommend this professional. He knows a tremendous amount about roofs.

I had had previous work performed by an unreliable roofer who did not finish the job. Other roofers had looked at completing the job (in addition to an additional 1500 ar ft of new roof) and given good estimates. But only Carter roofing really looked over the previous work and told me what was deficent...not just what else needed to be done. He was prompt, very concientious and fair. The work was completed in a very timely manner. Every speck of waste was cleaned up...including the huge pile of debri left by the previous roofer. Gave a complete detailed estimate. Gave me sound advise on how to deal with contractors in the future as well! He stressed that when he gives an estimate he sticks with that estimate and does not try to jack up the price if something unforeseen comes up. I cannot stress enough how pleasant this experience was!

They were very personable. They worked with us on the finances. Since, it was right around the time of some storm, they helped us to get the roofing materials ahead of time so we could save some money. They were very helpful. Their work was good. Their price was fine.

I had decided to stay away from a stapled job: severak knowledgable craftsmen who do other work for me, and even the insurance estimator, had said to be careful about having a roofing contractor staple on the shingles--things can go wrong, later on, in our Oklahoma winds: staples come loose, shingles rip, etc. I went with nailed, which is what Carter Roofing does. GREAT job!

They were exceptional. They were just really, really good people to work with. They were able to complete the job in two days, which was incredible.

**Please see update at the bottom** Yes, that's right, he didn't charge me anything to repair my roof -- and this was the first time I'd ever met him! He was on time and went on my roof to inspect a place where I have had an occasional leak. Jeromy came down the ladder and said someone had tried to repair it in the past, but they hadn't applied enough adhesive caulk under the shingles. He went to a nearby hardware store, bought some materials, came back and fixed the roof. He said that if it leaks again, call him back and he'll come out and work on it some more, but he really thought this would take care of it. I also asked Jeromy about the condition of my roof, which is getting old, and he said it's not in dire condition and that I could wait to replace it. In addition, he gave me referrals to two other kinds of contractors -- a gutter company that he works with a lot and a masonry expert (because I have settling on a porch, and I asked him for a referral). I couldn't be happier with this outcome. **UPDATE: Upon my recommendation, a friend hired Jeromy to replace her roof, and he gave her an estimate of $12K. She agreed to hire him but made the mistake of not signing a contract. When he was done, he told her it would be $19K. She had to hire an attorney to settle the situation. This has changed my mind about recommending him.**

I had selected Jeromy Carter Roofing, from Angies List, to evaluate the condition of my roof. After a thorough evaluation it was determined that my roof should be replaced. Further, Mr. Carter was of the opinion that the roof shingles were faulty, from the factory. He spent many hours trying to get the shingle manufacture to honor their warranty. The manufacturer declined coverage because I was not the original owner of the house and had failed to get a written transfer of ownership for the shingles. Had NO idea that a homeowner had to do that. To make a long story short we decided to re-shingle the home at our cost. Mr Carter re-roofed the house with 30 yr shingles and provided other upgrades for a price that was lower than estimates I had received from 2 other roofing contractors. His professional crew completed the entire job in a single day, including clean up. Mr. Carter and his entire crew were easy to work with, professional and expedient. The clean up was equally impressive, not a trace of debris left behind. Mr. Carter was a pleasure to deal with and performed a quality job at a fair price.

We set a 2.5-hr. time span for an estimate, but no one ever showed up or called. I had the work done by someone else within a week.

The service was amazing. Very friendly and professional. Jeromy truly loves what he does and is a pleasure to work with. Jeromy came out very quickly and provided us with an estimate. They were able to install the roof the next week. The roofing crew (10 people) was supervised during the construction. The installation took 2 days to complete, They did a thorough clean up and removed the debris and nails. They painted our old vent pipes to match the roof color. The gutter installation occurred during the following week. We encountered a slight problem with one of the gutters (it was too long and not attached properly). We called Jeromy and he had the gutter company come back out and fix it. It went very smoothly and Jeromy along with Tracy handled everything. Just to let you know, we installed the 50 year Malarky Legacy shingles. They are Class 4 impact resistant which means that our insurance company will lower our annual premium with this roof. Excellent people to work with, highly recommended! Our roof looks great, it is the best looking roof in the neighborhood! Go with Jeromy!

Jeromy was very personable and professional. He arrived on Memorial Day as stated and pointed out why we were having roofing problems and explain it completely. As a side note; the previous roofer did a very poor job as this is the second vendor we've had correct his work. In any case, Jeromy promised to fix all 6 vents that were improperly sealed, nail down the loose roofing, reseal the sky light and paint areas. He was able to fit in our repair job within a week even though it was right after the worst hail storm in Oklahoma and he had much bigger jobs. He came out while we were at work and repaired everything. He called me back and advised that if we had any problems with his work he would come back at no charge and make it right. He was a pleasure to work with and I would be happy to call him again.

Jeromy Carter takes pride in providing good old-fashioned service. He personally and patiently answers calls from his customers, even when they have lots of question like me. After just 8 days in our new home hail pounded our roof so severely it was in shatters. Leaking into the house and down my kitchen cabinets, our dream house had become a nightmare. After the first roofing company told me I would have to wait two weeks just to get an estimate, knowing more rainstorms were on the way, I was devastated. However, when I called Jeromy Carter Roofing and Jeromy personally assured me he would send out a crew to temporary felt the roof to protect our house, I was thrill. His crew worked to cover the house late into the evening making sure our home was protected and Jeromy did not even expect us to pay out of pocket for the temporary roof. Even then, he did not assume or pressure us to use him to roof our house. He only hoped we would give him fair consideration for the job. The day before Jeromy was to roof our home the other roofer showed up to give their estimate; it was higher than Jeromy?s quote. Even if it had been less, I would still have gone with Jeromy roofing, his sincere concern to help us out and pride in his families business sold us right off. When the roof went up just a few days later, on examination the materials Jeromy used was far superior to the roof he was replacing, instead of tarpaper Jeromy uses an almost indestructible felt, a self-healing tarpaper in the roof valleys, and no staple or nail guns for his roof but hand hammered nails. We highly recommend Jeromy Carter Roofing, for exceptional customer service and a superior roof.

Mr. Carter is totally professional, punctual, and honest. He went far beyond my expectations, did not make promises that he couldn't keep and has kept in constant contact throughout the process. EVEN AFTER THE RECENT HAIL STORM WHEN HE HAD OVER 200 NEW INQUIRIES. Thanks to Angies List I have found a roofer that I plan to use for years to come.

Jeromy was extremely responsive. He was able to come out and look at our roof the same afternoon that I called. He came back later in the week to make minor leak repairs at no cost and provide an estimate for replacement. He was professional, on-time, and responsive - a great way to win over customers!

THE JOB WENT WELL AND HIS CREW DID A VERY GOOD CLEAN-UP

The weather has been bad around here and may have slowed them down, but I didn't know when they would show up until they did. The work was done well and correctly, and was what I wanted. The price was probably $100 to $200 below others in this area(Norman).

I was stuck with a flat garage roof that was literally falling in on me and my insurance company wouldn't cover the repair. You see my roof was less than 2 years old and they say the reason it was leaking was due to "Bad Workmanship"! Yeah, I knew that - I'd only been trying to get the company to come back for a year! I tried calling about 8 roofers trying to find someone that (1) Knew how to fix a flat roof and (2) Since it wasn't covered by insurance, wouldn't try and rip me off. After several "bad" quotes, "no shows", and "Sorry, we don't do flat roof", I ran across Jeromy on Angie's List. I read the reviews, checked the BBB, and spoke and met with him a couple of times before I made the decision to use him. Needless to say, I'm glad I did. I got a roof that is not leaking, paid a fair price, got a referral from him for someone that could help repair the inside damage (which was finished last night), and feel like if I have any problems he'll be there afterwards. I've only had the roof a couple of weeks and then we got strong rain and lots of hail, so I was worried, but so far so good. No leaks, and Jeromy even cared enough to want to know how it did after the first rain. I'll post if things change, but I will definately recommend him to others and will be the first one I call when I need othering roofing needs!

Overall, great job! Mr. Carter identified what needed to be done and provided a price quote for the job. I authorized the repairs and Mr. Carter and his helper completed the job.

I am involved in a purchase of property out-of-state and there were some issues with the roof. Jeromy returned my long distance call immediately, went and inspected the property within days, contacted the realtor with a report, called me with an estimate, and provided me with information about his credentials, all within a few days' time. His estimate was reasonable and his credentials impeccable. I was negotiating with the sellers to resolve the problems and they ultimately decided to use their own company but I feel confident that Jeromy Carter would have done a superior job. He also refused to charge me for his time on the estimate, which I offered to pay since he was not going to have the opportunity to do the job. Very honorable! Update: After I move in the roof leaked. The new roof the homeowner had installed was improperly done. Jeromy came out and sealed it until he could get a crew out there to replace it. His price was competitive, his crew was efficient and he put a far superior roof on my home. Cleaned up completely and left no mess. He came back a couple of times to check on a drip by the chimney and fixed it as well. He even stopped by a few times just to check and when I had to sell the house sooner than expected he left his card for the new owner to let her know that he would honor the warranty.

My husband and I are selling our house and needed a few shingles repaired on our roof. I called Jeromy on Monday (late morning) and he and and a member of his crew were at my house that same day. He charged me absolutely NOTHING for labor. The $33 that I spent were for the shingles that needed to be replaced. Also, the rubber on my plumbing vent was inverted and and he fixed that. They also took pictures for me to put in the file. Jeromy and his crew were extremely helpful and very professional. I really appreciated their promptness and willingess to do this small project for us. We will definitley call them if we ever need any roofing done. You will not be sorry if you go with this company!

Jeromy came by for an estimate. He has been extreamly helpful in helping my with my insurance company. At every turn my insurance company tried not to pay. With no garantee of obtaining a job contract from me, Jeromy came back and met with my adjuster. He then recomened arguments and steps I should take with my insurance company. My insurance company has finally agreed my roof was totaled by hail. If not for Jeromy Carter Roofing, I would not be getting a new roof. I called Mr. Carter late in the afternoon before Easter when I found damage to my roof. We were supposed to get heavy rains that evening and all the next day, so I was worried about water damage. Mr. Carter was there within a couple of hours and gave the roof a temporary patch. He promised to be back in about a week to finish the job, but he was back in 3 days. When I came home from work, the job was done. When I looked at the bill he had left, it was less than the estimate of $150 he had given me earlier. I would definitely call Mr. Carter again.

His price was great. He was prompt and professional. He did a great job.
