J Gabriel Cleaning Company

I found them on Angie's List a couple of years ago and I have been using them every month. She has several folks that work for her. her services, they are very honest people. Very honest. I've used services where I couldn't trust them in the house by themselves. That is not the way of these people. They are very honest. They are Christian. They are straight up. The lady that comes to clean my house is the same one every time and her name is Shelia. She is just a delightful lady, she is just very sweet. We have a little conversation before she leaves. A very honest business. I wouldn't worry about anything in my house. I could go off and leave Shelia here and not worry about anything disappearing at all. I've been very fortunate to find them. She does very good work, punctual, always here when she says she is going to be. I think the world of them.

Set up original appointment for Wednesday --- No Show! Call for explanation and response was we will be on site tomorrow between 3 to 4 PM. Original meeting agreement was morning service. Apology for being so busy! Did not pursue services.

I read reviews and chose J. Gabriel from Angie's List. The house smells amazing after each cleaning! I am extremely satisfied with the service provided. Very nice and professional cleaning staff.

Aiesha was amazing. Great personality and a great worker. We moved and I wish she moved with us. Very professional and easy to work with.

I really loved the kind lady that cleaned my house. She did a better job than i could ever do. A little more notice on the scheduling needs a little work, but still had a great experience.

After my contacting through email with no response I called. Eventually someone came out and did a walk through of the house. A week or so later I called because no one sent me an email with the estimate which was promised soon. I then got the email. The price seemed a little high but I do live outside the city limits so I called and left a message but got no response. I then sent an email and they wrote back saying it was too far away. I sent another email just saying that it would have been nice if they had let me know so I could have contacted someone else.

Overall, service was just okay. Here's a breakdown of my experience: The Good • I work full-time, as does my husband, but he works from home, so he handled all in-person interaction with J Gabriel and was very complimentary of the professional, friendly demeanor of the owner, Jasmine, and the two women who regularly cleaned our home. • I feel like the price is very fair for services offered. I had JGabriel clean our living room, den, laundry room, kitchen and breakfast nook, dining room, and 2.5 bathrooms - they charged $75 per cleaning on a bi-monthly schedule, and around $90 per cleaning on a once-per-month schedule. The Meh • While it was very nice to come home to a clean house (this was my first time hiring a professional cleaning company), and they did do a good job, the more I really looked at surfaces around the house, it wasn't what I'd consider professional quality. After the first cleaning, I realized they hadn't wiped down any leather furniture, and had to request that via Jasmine (I had no direct way to communicate with the women actually cleaning my home). After subsequent cleanings, I'd notice dirty corners, lamps that had obviously not been dusted, etc. It wasn't what I'd call a *bad* job, but not very detailed. The Bad • It is very difficult to get a response from Jasmine, who runs the company and manages all scheduling. I communicated with her only via email, and sometimes would wait a few days for a response. If I wanted to modify the frequency in which my house was cleaned or change a service date, it was pretty frustrating. On more than one occasion, a team showed up to clean our house on the wrong day. This is totally unacceptable, especially when I made sure to give ample notice. Sometimes the miscommunication wasn't even related to a requested reschedule or service modification. • There was an incident involving my cat that led to me terminating service with J Gabriel. I left a key under the mat at our home for the cleaners, because we could not be at the house at the time of the cleaning. We'd done this once before, and it was not a problem. Somehow, in the course of cleaning our master bath, my cat was shut inside my walk-in closet. I discovered this around 6pm when I got home from work, and I have no idea how long she was in there, because Jasmine never communicated exact service times unless I pushed for that info (and I hadn't this time). I completely understand that accidents happen, and I'm sure the woman (or women) cleaning had no idea the cat was around, but she ended up trying to claw her way out of the closet, damaging the carpet inside, and urinating on some of my clothes, and on the carpet. The poor cat was okay, but when I emailed Jasmine to tell her I was upset about the incident, her only response was that the women probably weren't aware the cat was in the closet, but she'd double-check. She did tag on "I sincerely apologize," but that was it. I waited a few days after receiving that email to see if she'd offer anything else before writing a reply to terminate service. I am disappointed, because I'd expect a professional cleaning company to express real remorse over the damage to my house (and cat), and probably offer something along the lines of a free cleaning to try and make up for the incident. I understand that it was an accident, but it did result in damage on their watch, and they did nothing to make it right. Ultimately, poor responsiveness, a lack of attention to detail, and a semi-serious incident left unresolved led me to terminate service. Before I realized I was fairly unhappy with J Gabriel, I recommended them to a friend. She also had a terrible time scheduling, and last I checked, was also pretty frustrated with the quality of cleaning. In closing, I'd say if you're not someone who cares about details, if you want a cheaper option, and if you don't mind dealing with unreliable scheduling and communication, maybe try out J Gabriel. If you want a service that does a thorough, professional cleaning job, is upfront and responsive when it comes to scheduling, and has integrity when problems do arise, unfortunately I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Unfortunately, the service was never completed. Jasmine was pleasant and I would have loved to have had the opportunity to find out if everything she stated during the tour of my home would have come to pass. I would have used her service but it seemed she was overbooked and overworked and was unable to complete a deep clean in my personal time constraint. I know she wants to do the best job she and her company can do and that might be the reason I felt like I was being pushed back week after week. I was also concerned if she would be able to get me into the bi-weekly rotation in a timely manner if she couldn't get my deep clean completed when I asked. She was professional and on time at the quote and her prices were reasonable compared to other companies. I will contact this company again If the other company I hired doesn't work out.

Very pleasant, was able to work us into her schedule on short notice because we had company coming from out of town. She had a special product for our wood floors and they looked great. There was a film left on the counters and ceramic tile floors, not sure why, though. We would use her again.

The company worked around my schedule for my deep cleaning. They arrived promptly at the agreed time. This group of ladies gave more than 100%, especially an employee named Sheila. They cleaned non stop until the job was complete without taking a break. Jasmine came by when they was finishing up to check on the progress, on the cleaning performed, and even started cleaning some things herself. They arrived with all supplies needed to complete the job. I highly recommend this company for all of your cleaning needs. I've already hired J Gabriel Cleaning to do my bi-weekly cleaning. Good job ladies!

The crew thoroughly clean everything, furniture, floors, surfaces, under furniture and whatever else is requested.

It was a 4 person crew, and they worked from afternoon into the evening. They did a very good job, and got my kitchen and bathroom cleaner than I ever would have got them on my own. They also did a good job on the blinds (a task I never wanted to do myself). They cleaned hardwood and carpet floors, and made the whole place look nice. I haven't hired anyone else before, so I can't say how they compare to other companies, but I did price shop before I hired Jasmine's crew, and it was comparable to other services. I would hire them again.

Jasmine was a pleasure to do business with. She returned my call promptly and was able to work with me on scheduling. They came out right on time and finished in record time, leaving nothing untouched. They were all very professional and friendly and did such a good job I've asked them to return on a regular basis. Couldn't have been happier!

I like the girl from J Gabriel Cleaning Company. She does a good job. They do a pretty decent job on cleaning the house.

I was a little disappointed in them. I used their service called, 'Trendy Makeover' where they were supposed to clean everything spotless but there were a few things that they did not clean. What they did, they did very well and they couldn't have been any friendlier. Jasmine and Gabrielle that were out here were as sweet as they can be. I had to cancel on them several times because when they were due to come out; the electrician fell through the ceiling so it took a while before they could come. We decided to get new carpets so I wanted to wait for that before they came. I changed on them about four times and they never had a problem with that. They said it was fine and to call anytime I was ready. They were very, very nice. The only thing was when I went into the house afterwards, I found that they had not cleaned the garage windows, the utility room to the garage has glass panels and they did not clean them. They broke a window shade and didn't tell me about it. They were way expensive; I paid them $325 for four hours of cleaning. They were very cooperative about rescheduling the appointments.

They did a great job. I would definitely use them again. Jasmine, the owner, was very professional and courteous.

My expectations were definitely met. I've only had them clean once, but I plan to hire them for bi-monthly cleaning. It was fantastic to come home to a clean house, and the pricing was very reasonable. I honesty wish I'd thought of this sooner. :) My one complaint with J Gabriel is that she hasn't been the quickest to respond or follow-up. That said, so far, it hasn't been an issue, just the one thing I could say needs a little improvement.

Jasmine and her assistant did everything she said she would and her work was outstanding. She basically cleaned every surface in the house ... wood and carpeted floors, furniture surfaces, the bathrooms, kitchen all were as clean as they have ever been after Jasmine was finished. We will hire her again.

I can't say enough good things about J. Gabriel. From the initial consultation to discuss what we needed done to the walk-through to ensure that I was pleased with the service and the follow-up call and text I received shortly after the service was complete. I have contracted with an individual for cleaning services in the past and had been very pleased, so I had high expectations. J. Gabriel exceeded all of my expectations and I look forward to working with the J. Gabriel team in the future. Thank you for providing such a wonderful service at a very reasonable price.

I am happy with the young woman who does my house. I especially like the fact that the same person comes every time. It is a relief not to always feel like I am behind in my housework.
