I was impressed with this service from the time I called to make an appointment. They were very pleasant and positive about doing the work, even though I was looking for occasional services--rather than regular, scheduled services--and live in very rural Edmond. The appointment was made within the time frame I requested. The staff showed up right on time, when four very pleasant young people came to do the work. I showed them through the house, explaining priority areas (No. 1 being one of the bathroom tubs), and noting other additional areas I would like to be done if they had time (such as dusting in rather large, hard-to-reach overhead bathroom, kitchen, and living room surface areas). I left them to do the job, asking that they lockup and lock/close our gate when they left. I came home to a wonderfully clean house! The bathroom tub shined! The carpet and floors looked great. Furniture and cabinets were polished and kitchen appliances wiped clean. They cleaned the fireplace area--mantle, screen and hearth--which I didn't really expect. They had gotten up on step stools and not only dusted the high, hard to reach areas, but also cleaned all the miscellaneous "stuff" on top. I truly think they went above and beyond their "call of duty", and I truly appreciate them. I will definitely use this service again and recommend them to my friends.

I hired this service because I had seen their Angie's List coupon offer. The team of 3 women who came to clean the house were pleasant and did a good job of cleaning. The main reason for my bit of dissatisfaction is with the communication with the owner. She had requested that we meet for an initial consultation to discuss which cleaning services would be needed. I traveled across the metro to meet with her, but unfortunately something had come up for her, and she forgot our appointment. Rather than trying to reschedule the consultation, she did offer to just go ahead and set the cleaning appointment, where I could tell the cleaners on the spot what I wished to have done, and that was helpful. I just was unhappy with the waste of time and fuel for the failed consultation appointment.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for Hometown Special Care. It went great. They were fabulous. It took them a little while to come out because they were working on bringing in more people but we're happy with the service. They're great people. To us, she's very thorough in her assessment of the home, very forthright and upfront on everything that she felt that would be needed in order to do the job that she want. She is picky and selective with the way they clean as we would be if we were doing it ourselves and that's what we were looking form someone that would be very detail-oriented.

They did ok. They could have cleaned the bathrooms better. The dusting was very much appreciated.

Estimate appointment and cleaning appt both went well. My "b" grades are largely due to the answering service machine, or however it is that they are dealing with calls that they don't answer. We played phone tag a little, and twice I got Hometown Special Care answering, with the announcement mentioning something about ?hospice? or some companion care maybe? It was very confusing. Perhaps they do offer more than just cleaning, and if so, I think it would be helpful to separate those phone lines. If it's really just the one service, then maybe the service should be more clearly defined. The name is ambiguous. Other than that, the cleaning service was really good, fast, and fairly priced.

Excellent attention to detail. Best I've every had, and I'm in my 60's. Have had regular housecleaning help for 30 years.

I used a $79 Angie's List Big Deal coupon for this service. I just called them and am going to have them come back in a couple of weeks. I called them in February but we were not able to get it scheduled until early April. She came out first to give me an estimate to make sure that they were going to be able to perform the service and honor the Big Deal coupon; which I appreciated that they were able to do that. She had a team of 3 workers, one man and two women. They came out a little earlier than they had scheduled; he had called me to make sure this was alright and I said it was great. When they came out they got right to work. He worked on the kitchen and did a very efficient job. One of the girls concentrated on bathrooms and the other girl did sweeping, dusting and that kind of thing. They worked their two hours and had a little bit to do before they thought they were done so they asked me if I wanted them to stay an additional hour for extra cost so I went ahead and did that since it was their first time out. I am hoping that when the come the next time I am going to try to limit it to the two hours for each person; six hours total. I was real happy with what they did. Their extra hour of work cost a total of $60. They were fine and did well.

The owner of the housecleaning service first made a service call, to estimate the time and labor needed to complete the work. She was very informative, and gave instructions for items that I would need to furnish (such as a broom, mop, etc.) to be used only in our home. Other than that the four cleaners used their own supplies. They worked very quietly and efficiently, in the different areas of the house, while my husband and I went about our own activities. We were very pleased with the work done, and plan to use this service on a monthly basis.

They did an excellent job. They come early too! This is the second job that I have used them for. What I really liked is that they have 3 people and do a faster job than what one person would be; and that's why I selected them. They are going to be cleaning my house once a month.

We are happy with them for their efficient and timely service. My wife is searching for a different company for a once a month regular house cleaning service. But we have been very pleased with their work, and we never faced any problems with them. They always did a great job.

They were prompt and courteous. They did an excellent job! There were three ladies that came. They took different parts of the house, and they got everything done. It was about two weeks later before they came out to do the housecleaning.

I hired Hometown Special Care to clean my place after I moved out of the condo I was renting. Two men were waiting for me at the condo when I arrived (on time is very nice!). They were nice and courteous. I had paid for three people to clean the condo for two hours. However, it ended up that the company only had two people available, so they actually cleaned for three hours (for the same price). Turns out the condo was not as clean as I thought (probably from all the mess from living there for two years, and then moving out), and they ended up cleaning the entire condo top to bottom (which was 1,500 square feet)). Initially I told them the areas I wanted them to focus on during the time I originally paid, but then went ahead and had them clean everything after they said it would only take an extra hour. They gave the oven a pretty darn good scrubbing (I used it a lot when I was there, so it had a lot of build up). The inside of the fridge was thoroughly cleaned as well. Overall I was very pleased with the attention to detail and I had no complaints. I don't typically pay for cleaning service, but didn't want to deal with the hassle of a move and then having to come back to clean. Would def use them again. Great service!

Te The director came initially to inspect the house and tell me what to expect. She was professional and courteous and let me know what would be done and what to expect. The crew of three arrived approximately 30 minutes earlier than they had suggested on the day promised. I walked them through the house and the crew director assigned each a specific area of the house to clean. Four bathrooms were literally scrubbed from top to bottom, mirrors polished to a spotless shine, showers and tubs cleaned and polished and tile floors thoroughly vacuumed and mopped. The kitchen cabinets were wiped down and all the appliances were cleaned and polished. The solid surface counter tops were disinfected and polished to a shine. I had polished the furniture throughout the house and vacuumed the carpeted areas before they came, so that was not a part of their work assignment. The house is large and I did not expect them to be able to clean everything in the time which I had contracted. They worked steadily for 2 3/4 hours. I paid them for an additional hour. Each worker was cheerful, respectful and courteous.I would certainly recommend this company and will continue to use them as the need arises.

The experience was very good, the cleaning technicians they sent worked efficiently but also effectively. They cleaned everything that I asked them and didn't gloss over anything. Their quality of work was outstanding.

Services: "deep cleaning": baseboards, wood trim on walls, picture frames and other wood surfaces dusted with product owner had discussed with us prior. Mopped concrete & tile; lightly cleaned wood floors; vacuumed. Light fixtures dusted. Switch plates and other incidental surfaces cleaned. Tub, showers, sinks.

Ordered the coupon, which was good for a few months. I held onto it for a couple months. I called and Donna recognized my name from the coupon order and thanked me for ordering it. I expected to have to wait a few weeks for service. I had to wait about 10 days for an opening, which was fine. Donna called me the Friday before the Monday service and told me her crew would arrive between 12:30 and 1, which they did. I gave them the tour, showed them where the mop and broom were, and the trash can, and told them what I wanted. I said I was most concerned about my bathrooms and floors. Again they cleaned everything! Wonderful service!

It went very well. Donna came out first to see the size of my house and what would be involved in cleaning. The young women who came were professional and did the job quickly and quietly.

Donna visited us and set up an appointment to deep clean our house the next week. It was done very thoroughly and we are very happy with the service! Our home smells so nice!

79.00gain .... another disappointing Angie's List special deal! Vendor responded to my initial phone call with a promise to appear onsite the following day to discuss services. The next day I received a phone message explaining they would be unable to make the appointment and they would call to reschedule. That was three weeks ago with no further contact. Again this would appear to be the case of a vendor engaging in an Angie's List daily deal without realizing the volume of business they would receive. Angie's List .... please refund my account this vendor ..?????

Theny did an excellent job! They cleaned better than any other company I have used.

I have referred them to my clients. My clients have all loved them. They are very friendly and extremely punctual. I recommend them all the time. I would definitely use them in the future.

They were thorough, polite, prompt and professional. Their fee was competitive and fair. My client was very, very happy with Donna's team's work, and so was I.
