+ -1 moreWith all the destroyed homes in Oklahoma recently we were lucky to find a plumber to come out to our house within the week. Most companies told us that it would be at least next week since they were so busy with the rebuiling in Moore. Herman's came out the next day and made the diagnoses and completely fixed the problem in one day. It took them almost 4 hours in the hot attic. Our house was built in the 50's and with that comes unexpected issues. After finding a problem that took them longer, they stayed with the original estimate and we felt like is was professional and well done. I recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: They fixed a hot water leak and rerouted the line through the attic.

+ 0 moreSewer line was backing up and couldn't be cleared. They discovered the line was filling with dirt and broken at the main sewer, needing repair. They were very quick to get it working temporarily and then completed the repair on my schedule. The only negative thing is that they've left 2 large piles of dirt. I am calling them today to see what can be done about it.
Description of Work: They repaired my sewer line where it connects to the main sewer. Had to dig 11 foot hole to reach it.

+ 0 moreOverall, it went fine, and I was very pleased with the work. They were two very professional young men, and I really appreciate their promptness, as they came within hours of my calling them.
Description of Work: My bathtub would no longer drain, and they fixed it right away. They asked if there was anything else they could do. There was, but I didn't have the money it would take to fix the leak in my kitchen sink as well. I will call them back when I get some money ahead.

+ -1 moreThe came 2 different times and snaked the line. Then came back and ran a camera down the line where a blockage was located and possibly a broken sewer line on a home we had just purchased 2 weeks prior. They came in and dug up the line in the back yard and behind my back fence to get to the blockage and also the sewer line to see if it was broken which it was. They removed the blockage and replaced the broken sewer line as well. This is very expensive to have done and especially when you have just purchased the home and didn't have a lot of money to spare. Hermann's worked with us and gave us a break on the price which they certainly did not have to do but they knew what the situation was with us having just purchased the home and having a bad inspector that did not find the problem with the plumbing or with the heat and air that also had to be replaced immediately after closing since it was not working properly either. I love the fact that Hermann's employees are very professional from beginning to end when they are doing a job. They always clean up when finished which not all contractors do. Hermann's is wonderful and I highly recommend using them.
Description of Work: Snaked the sewer lines twice and finally had to come back and run a camera down the line. They found a blockage in the line and possibly a broken/collapsed sewer line. We had just purchased this home in the middle of July and had an inspection done on the home prior to closing. The inspection for some odd reason did not find the slow running drains or toilets that did not flush properly. When it was still not working after snaking the lines twice Hermann's came back and ran a camera down the line which did locate a major blockage and possibly a broken or collapsed sewer line. After digging up the yard to get to the line and digging up the line behind my fence they did find that the sewer line had collapsed and needed to be replaced. Considering we had just purchased this home and the inspector did not find anything wrong prior to closing Hermann's did give us a little bit of a break on the pricing since they knew we had just closed on the home. They are the most professional plumbing company that we have ever dealt with in 30 years and we would not ever use any other plumbing company. Highly recommend using them if you live in the Oklahoma City area!!!!

+ -1 moreThese men came from the Oklahoma City office. They were punctual and extremely thorough and kind. They even returned when I thought I had a problem. I have also used Herman's for repair of a window unit. I found that young man to be knowledgeable and kind. This is a wonderful company with great employees.
Description of Work: I have a floor furnace. There are very companies that service them. I just wanted to have it checked out. The two wonderful service men check underneath the house. They found some wiring that was frayed and needed replacement.. Because I had my roof replaced this summer, they went into the attic to check the vents.

+ 0 moreIt took a couple weeks longer than it should have for them to come out with the camera, then we found out they had charged us twice as much as the going rate in the area for the same service. At the same time, they didn't pin point the leak they just narrowed it down to the kitchen/dining room and said we needed to replace the entire line. We've not received any estimate in writing, we had a lot of problems with them. I can't really think of anything I was happy with.
Description of Work: Herman's Plumbing located a leak in the drain pipe so we could know how much of it needed to be torn out.

A lot of people think they are highly priced, though. They kept coming back to my house a number of times when a certain problem had persisted and hadn’t charged me for it.
