I asked them to come out and give me a quote on my dads property (who just passed away) for pipes and furnace that broke during the freeze. Instead of quoting anything like it had asked them to do before any work began, they began work and stopped before completing anything saying I owed them $840. Then I tried for weeks to get them to give me estimates for my insurance company which they lied to and said it was due to age not the freeze. A complete lie. They wanted to buy my dads property for next to nothing and I think they were giving me the runaround for that reason. Very unprofessional company that called me rude when they were in fact very rude and messed up my homeowners claim. Now I have to start over with a new company.

Aaron and Jack found that the reset button needed to be triggered. They explained to me that is the first thing to check for in the future. I called and they were here within a couple of hours. The plumbers were very courteous and polite. They gave me a 10% senior discount. I would use them again and recommend their service. They were very professional.

Their prices are about in the middle, but they always guarantee their work and do what they say they will do.

Very professional! Came in and looked at size of tank we had and then went back to the shop and returned with hot water tank. It all want very quickly. After he left I went to see if there was a mess or water that needed to be clean up and there was none. He did a awesome job cleaning up after himself. IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW!!!!! I wish I didn't have to write such a bad review but this company has changed recently and ALL they care about is money. If you have a lot of money use them because the plumbers are good, but it will cost you several times what other companies charge. They now charge by the job and have to get a quote for everything they do. That means there are no set prices. Women get charged a lot more then men do. I had a leak in my hot water tank that took 12 minutes to fix, yes I timed it. It cost 242 dollars. That is ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND TEN DOLLARS AN HOUR!!! There were no parts needed.I ask if they could tighten the bolt on the toilet (I am disabled) and after another call to the office was told it would be 150 dollars more. The plumber was embarrassed to have to tell me that and hated the new pricing system. They lost me as a customer and will lose good workers who don't want to hear all the complaining. They should be ashamed of themselves.

This company did a good job and I would probably use them again in the future. There were a few things that I didn't totally love but overall it was a good job. The top thing I didn't like was that they were paid by the hour and I walked out 3 different time to find both men taking a smoke break in their van. And the job wasn't an all day job, it only took about 3 hours and I didn't think I should be charged for them to take multiple breaks to sit in their van for such a short job. Now I don't want to sound harsh and uncaring and I DO think that breaks are much needed. Just seemed a little excessive and I feel like they could have finished the job quicker which would have resulted in a lower price due to the hourly work rate. The second thing I didn't love was they they left the area a complete mess. Broken pieces of plastic and even some pieces of pipe laying in a heap of dirt after they covered up the spot they fixed. It looked absolutely terrible. But that was purely aesthetic and had nothing to do with the work they preformed. Maybe I'm being overly critical but $800 is a lot for us and wanted to give an honest opinion. The actual work they did was top notch and the people who I dealt with on the phone were very polite and helpful.

We bought a Sears water softner and whole house filter in Colorado where we were living. We bought a 3 year old house in Guthrie Oklahoma and wanted the unit installed. The maine water shout off valve is located in a bedroom, and has a wood panel covering the whole with 4 screws. They removed the screws and plate and began the work in the garage. The job was done in about one houre. The gentelman handed my the bill and I was shocked $710.00. After they left I went in to the bedroom and discovered that they did not replace the plate for the water valve. We bought this unit in Denver, CO and had it installed. the total cost was $176.89. I believe that I was Ripped off. They did do a good job, but $710.00 is nuts. We did get an estamite of $2000.00 from another plumbing company, but that company wanted to install the unit in the same location that Herman's Plumbing installed it but they wanted to go through wall in the bedroom, across the atic and then back down

We own a 2300 sq foot home we bought in late 2013. We were not getting adequate cooling during the hot August/September days in the Oklahoma City area due to the high temps in 2014. The builder had installed too small a unit for a home this size and the original duct work was atrocious. Both these factors contributed and of course the unit was old. Kirk Weese who owns Herman's Plumbing sent out his Heat & Air guys to check the problem. After choosing to go with a larger size cooling unit with entirely new duct work and a heating unit that was compatible, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we've made in years. CJ and the team of guys Kirk sent out were top notch, as well as very professional. The work was completed in one day with emaculate cleanup before they left.

On Sept. 8, 2014 two plumbers came to my home to replace a cartridge in the Master Shower because of a leak in the shower head. They also replaced some piping on two toilets while they were there. After the cartridge was replaced in the master shower the pipe started vibrating against the drywall every time the water was turned on. I called the plumbers back out to recheck it. Instead of rechecking the cartridge they said it was a water hammer and they wanted to replace the pressure release valve and other work to an estimate of $550+. Since my house is only a year old I wanted to get a second opinion and called in another plumber. He replaced the cartridge that the plumbers from Herman's installed and the knocking stopped. The cartridge Herman's installed was not the right one (suspect that it was not a Delta). I have talked to Jason at Herman's plumbing, sent him the invoice and detailed explanation of what had to be done to stop the vibration. I have asked for a refund from Jason at Herman's on the defective cartridge and labor. At this time, nothing has been resolved.

In the beginning, everything went in accordance. Herman promised me water the next day, came out and dug underground to replace my pipes. While doing this, they did not tear up my sidewalk which I was very pleased with. Hours later, they said they will be back the next day to get approval from city to proceed with their work. The next day, they got the approval, came back out and finished the job. What made me upset and disappointed was the fact that they told me they were not responsible for filling in the holes around the city meter, which they created in the first place, and it was the cities job to do this. I’m in my 70’s. A neighbor and I had to get out there ourselves and clean up the mess that they left by ourselves. I'm very disappointed they would allow an elderly woman get out there and clean up what they left behind.

Stood me up on first appt so after waiting hours thinking they would show up I had to call them back to find out he didn't get the job order. It caused me another day of waiting around. Vent under sink was shabby and wood strip was not replaced back, was just left laying there.

They seemed to do the work alright. They were fairly priced and they did alright.

It was good, it was all positive. I felt they were good. They were efficient, they were fast at getting out there. I am assuming everything got corrected. We used them to replace a sink in our home and they were good also. Patient, came on time, were courteous and took care of our needs.

I hired Herman's Plumbing to fix my elderly mother's toilet. The toilet was and quot;runningand quot; and was unstable - (it rocked slightly when used). Greg showed up right on time and was very courteous and professional. (I was unable to be there when the job was done.) My mother was billed and left with a receipt that said the and quot;stool was pulled and reset with new wax ring and bolts. Rebuilt stool with new supplyand quot;. When I went over to her house and checked the toilet, it still rocked just as it had before. I called Herman's and told them that the problem had not been fixed. The woman I spoke to was very courteous. She apologized and told me that they would send someone right out to make it right . I do not recall whether or not they sent the same plumber, but a plumber came that day or the next and fixed the problem. I do not know if there was a miscommunication as to the problem or what initially. I know that mistakes are going to be made on occasion. The important thing to me is that things are made right and Herman's did that. I used Herman's years ago to repair a floor furnace in a former residence. The plumbers who did the work then were very helpful and did a great job.

They were great! I called on a weekend morning and it was during one of our bitter cold spells. My husband knew from the symptoms that there was a blockage in the line outside the house. They were dealing with a lot of calls for frozen pipes but worked us in. They showed up faster than expected (within 2 hours) and had everything taken care of in a jiff. Both workers were very pleasant and professional.

Hermans Plumbing always show up when they say they will, and they do good work. I always use them for things around the house.

I use them for my routine plumbing service. Very timely, professional and price is right.

Called Herman's Plumbing on October 28. Phone was answered immediately by very pleasant woman. Asked me what time I wanted repair men to come, before or after noon. I said noon would be fine. I thought it would arrive by at least 4 pm. It was just a little bit longer than that. Not a big problem for these repairs. Wes and his helper were very nice. One handled replacing the toilet flushing system and Wes took care of fixing the garbage disposal. Both repairs were made quickly. Wes took the time to talk to me about preventative maintenance regarding toilets, garbage disposals and drains in gerneral. I have some big renovation jobs coming up in the next few months and if appropriate for the jobs, I will request Wes to be involved. Warranty information printed on receipt seems very reasonable and well written. This was a stress free experience and I appreciate this very much.

Plumber said it was easy. Had previously paid Lowe's for installation with $450...at installation Herman's had me write another check for over $500. We asked for details of their charges and they refused.

Very helpful with advice to prevent future problems.
