+ -1 moreThey called 20 minutes before they were scheduled to be there asking if they could come three hours later. We negotiated and settled on one hour later because that was the 'absolute earliest' they could come. When they arrived, they were very quick, efficient, and polite. I was so impressed with their work ethic that I decided to give them a big tip even though they were an hour late from our scheduled time. We had scheduled someone to be at our new apartment 2 hours away to help unload. We were told they were heading there, and would be at our new place shortly after we arrived. We arrived at our new home, waited for 30 minutes. Called the company and were told they were 20 minutes out. Waited 30 more minutes. Called again, no answer. Waited 10 minutes and called. No answer. Called the main companies number, no answer. After 2 hours of waiting for someone to show up, my wife and I had to unload the truck. Luckily, some new neighbors helped me with the really heavy stuff that my wife could not lift. **I could not find the actual receipt for the job they did. But I can say without a doubt that they were the cheapest rate we had found.**
Description of Work: They loaded a Penske truck with everything in our apartment. They were supposed to unload at our new location.

Description of Work: Dependable Movers LLC did a great job for me. I called them a day before my move. They arrived on time and were very accommodating to my schedule. Everything was all packed for them by the time they got there. All they had to do was move my possessions from my old home to my new one. They moved a lot of heavy items and were very respectful of my belongings. At my new home, I told them where to leave everything. It was a very quick and efficient move. If you need are looking for a really fast move, give Dependable Movers a call. They are great!

Description of Work: I used this moving company to move my furniture from my home into my garage on Sept. 14, 2013 during home renovations. When it was time to move my belongings back into my home I called over 2 weeks in advance and scheduled an appointment for December 2nd. I called the day before and reminded the company of the appointment and also remind them that I have a piano to be moved. They said they would be at my home between 8 and 8:30am. At 9 a.m. two men without any uniforms, ID, or any moving equipment pull up in front of my house in a small beatup car and say they are the movers. I was unable to reach the company by phone to confirm their identity and so I suggested that they leave and go get ID and moving equipment and then return. After a couple of hours they still had not returned but I finally reached the company that was supposed to send movers. They said that the men who came to my home claimed that I didn't want them to come move my furniture. When I pointed out that even if they had stayed they would have been unable to safely move my furniture without any moving equipment the man at the office phone assured me that they would get movers out within the hour. several hours later this still had not occurred. I called again and was again reassured that someone would be there soon to move me. no one ever came. They even quit answering the phone by 5:30pm. I finally left a message telling them to forget it because I had already been at the empty house for 9 hours waiting for movers to arrive. Dependable movers were anything but!!! DO NOT DEPEND ON THEM!

+ -1 moreThey promised three men and only sent two. Since there was only two of them it took longer that it would of with three men to load and unload. They did wrap everything but broke off a leg of a TV console. The moved us 20 miniatures away and charged us $500.
