Cross Timber Arborists

Description of Work: We called Ray Kellogg of J&J to give us an estimate on trimming 2 gigantic cotton woods (one of which had big limbs hanging over a lake), 9 Soap Berry trees, a Yopon (sp?), and at least 4 "volunteer" trees that were tangled in our fence. We were very pleased with J&J! We got 6 estimates in all; his was neither the highest or the lowest, but he definitely seemed the most knowledgeable. Despite being an arborist himself, Ray brought in an expert from the County Extension to verify his plans and thoughts for our biggest cotton wood tree. Due to the arrangement of our yard, it was not possible to bring a bucket truck, or even the chipper, into our back yard. The estimate was written, not just verbal, and both liability and workman's comp insurance certificates were sent to us well before the work began. The men arrived on time, and accomplished the entire job in one day, and cleanied up after themselves very nicely...I thought it looked like a week's worth of work! These folks were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough. We would definitely recommend them to anyone! (And we found them on Angie's List !!)
