+ 0 moreThe gutters, which were packed with cedar needles, shingle grit and dirt, were cleaned and flushed and the material removed was put in my compost container for next year's garden. Nick also found a roof vent rubber gasket that was almost totally gone, which would have allowed water to get into the attic. He came back with Brian to replace that vent cover at my request. Nick was very cordial and did what he was commissioned to do.
Description of Work: Cleaned gutters and provided a quote to reposition gutters to provide better drainage.

+ 0 moreBrain and Nick were very professional and arrived 5 minutes after the scheduled time (not a big deal). They cleaned the gutters and cleaned up there mess afterwards. The did some repairs but no replacements of gutters sections (which was inlcuded in the price). Overall a good deal and I am pleased with the results.

Description of Work: I'd had a new roof put on after the May 2012 hail storm and knew that some sealant was not used where it should have been. Plus I was concerned if the job was a good one since I was underwelmed with the roofing company. So, I was glad to have the opportunity to have a professional inspect the roof and do the sealing that was required. He was very courteous and prompt. He inspected the entire roof then agreed that some sealant was needed to prevent some leakage, but, had to wait until a little warmer for the sealant to set correctly. He came back on a warmer day and applied the sealant. I was glad to have the situation resolved.

+ -1 moreI purchased a "deal" on this site for $250 worth of service for $150. When everything was done it wound up costing an additional $70.00. I had 2 estimates from other businesses and one was comparable, the other was lower. Therefore, even though the coupon was supposed to save me $150.00 it didn't. I wound up spending about the same as I would have without their discount. I was pleased with their response to me. It took a couple of calls to coordinate a time to do it, but it turned out to be ok. I didn't climb on the roof to inspect it, but I'm sure they did a good job from the previous reviews. Yes, I would probably use them again.

+ 0 moreBrian and his guys, Nick, Justin, and Michael, got everything done in a timely manner and left my place clean. They were willing to problem-solve with me to comply with historic preservation requirements and my own personal preferences. Carrying the compost in buckets to my distant compost pile was a wonderful extra, and they suggested it when they my buckets and compost pile! I will use them for my next job and recommend them highly.
Description of Work: This is an honest company doing good work at a fair price! I needed gutters cleaned and had a few other related problems. The company I called first ((RainGuard) bid $1000 for just the gutter-cleaning, saying my gutter guard was "destroyed" by the roofers and that it all had to be replaced – adding that the roofing company should pay for it since they had done the damage. Nick, with Brian Pierce, said that the gutter guard was just fine, but just had lost some screws and they would be lifting it to clean under anyway and would just bring extra screws. One 4-foot section of the guard was missing, so they put in a temporary piece for me until they could return with the appropriate screw-down type. Trees overhang my roof and the debris was compacted. Fine compost! The guys took large buckets up and carefully put all the composted debris into the buckets so they could carry them to the rear of my property to my compost pile! (Others in the past have just dumped it on the patio and driveway.) It required 2 trips to clean, because it was so damp, and they were thorough. A third trip was to finish my extras. Extra jobs they accomplished (that no one else would do reasonably): 1. re-conformed an ill-fitting rain chain adapter I had bought, so that it now fits my my 1930's gutter, 2. added a diverter where another company had left a gap that allowed rain to miss the gutters and fall in front of a door, 3. glued down shingles that roofers had never sealed properly, allowing water underneath, 4. replaced missing gutter guard and replaced the missing screws in the rest.

I took three (3) bids selected from Contractor's listed on Angie's list and decided upon Brian Pierce Roofing & Gutters LLC based upon all factors including reputation and price. The communication was prompt and professional, and the execution was exemplary. The Company took the lead in coming to terms with what was best for the project, and never once dissappointed in doing what they said they would. The team-work displayed by the crew was truely amazing, indicating employee satisfaction on longevity. Every aspect of the experience was positive and I would not hesitste recommending this company to anyone.
Description of Work: The work consisted of reroofing of two sepeare structures; a two story duplex and a garage apartment, and the replacement of fascia board, gutters and downspouts.

They couldn't make the first appointment because of impending rain and wind, but worked me into their schedule quite promptly. They were professional and curtious, and I would definately reccomend them.

He found some of my gutters were packed with leaves and a recent rain resulted in frozen water in the gutters so he couldn't clean all of them. He came back on a warmer day and cleaned the gutters. He also recommended a cover for the gutters. I had researched different types of covers and didn't know which to go with, so I will go with Brian Pierce Roofing & Gutters to install they type they recommend.

The day of the appointment, the technician called to tell me he would be at the house. When I got home from work, everything was done as I had expected. I was totally satisfied.

+ 1 moreThis was an Agnie list special that I purchased. The initial phone call went well and they came out very promptly. They performed the inspection and said all was fine. They were very pleasant to work with and I'd use them again.
Description of Work: They came out and inspected my gutters to see if they needed cleaning. they also inspected my roof to see if I had any damage from the last couple of hail storms we've had. No additional work was needed. My gutters were new from a different company and I just wanted someone else in that line of work to inspect them and they passed with flying colors.

+ -1 moreNow that I am using Angie's List for all of my services, I checked the category in the Roofing Section. I came up with four roofing companies. I called all four for estimates. All four gave me estimates for the roofing job. Brian Pierce sent out Nick Aber. Nick was professional, friendly and on time. All four roofing companies gave me estimates. We decided to go with Brian Pierce Roofing. They weren't the lowest estimate, but I got the feeling that they would do a good job. Their estimate was third from the top. Sometimes you don't want to go with the lowest. They arrived on time the day of the job and stayed until the job was finished. The roof looks great. They did a great job of cleaning up after the job. Many of our friends complain that their roofer had left trash and nails in their yard when they finished. These guys cleaned up super. They did an excellent job. I highly recommend Brian Pierce Roofing.
Description of Work: Complete reroofing of our house. Tear off old shingles down to the decking. Install 30# felt underlayment. Install GAF HD shingles. Install six turtle vents. Reflash all areas that might leak. Install and paint new pipe jacks. Clean and remove all debris from roof work.

+ 0 moreMr. Pierce has offices in Oklahoma and another state, so we had to do some juggling on the date that he'd be in Oklahoma. He was very flexible and easy to deal with. He appeared at my home at the agreed time and one of his workers walked on the roof and cleared some limbs. Mr. Pierce said that some water drainage might be improved by adding additional guttering or downspouts, and that he'd let me know how much that might cost. However, I never heard back from him. I'm not really sure what I got for my $99, but I assume that his oral report is trustworthy that the roof looked to be in good shape. It was put on in 2004, so after 8 years in Oklahoma weather, lots could happen. He was here about 30 minutes and that was the entirety of the interaction. I thought that someone would flush the gutters with the hose to clean them out, but I did not see any of that happen.
Description of Work: I bought The Big Deal for a roof and gutter inspection; it included clearing the roof and gutters of debris.
