They did wonderful work, they were on time, they professional, and did exact what they said they were going to at the price they quoted. They even called us to check-in as the work was in progress. We were very pleased.

They were excellent. They were out here, did their work quickly. They cleaned up everything. It looks great and they cleaned up their mess. We were very happy. They were on time and communicated well.

Bill showed up and as soon as we walked to the back yard and I showed him the decking needing to be replaced he told me he wan't interested in the job. He said he desn't want to work on liner pools. I told him it was a fiberglass pool not a liner pool. He said he won't work on fiberglass pools either because they are too brittle. I was a little shocked that he just came right out and said he won't work around these pools. I wish maybe he would have done some more screening on my initial phone call and not wasting my time meeting him. When I told them the job was for replacing pool decking, they could have asked some questions, like: is it a fiberglass or liner pool? He did give me 2 phone numbers of guys who would maybe work on the decking.

Did not use due to bid price they quoted me 10' by 28' patio for $3800.00 that wasall most three times as much as I got it done for. WOW!!! Thanks Tom at ACD

They did a good job. They showed up on time and got it done in a timely manner.

It was a tad bit expensive but it was good.

We had purchased a new pergola cover for our existing backyard patio and needed to move an existing pergola to a new location. Time was of the essence since we needed to install the new pergola soon. We discussed this with Bill on a Wed or Thurs. and by Monday of the next week Bill's crew was at our house to begin work. They checked with the city about possible building permits (we didn't need them for this size job). They checked about set-backs from property lines. They made recommendations concerning drainage issues. They provided a contract detailing work to be performed. They contacted the company from which we were purchasing a storage shed and obtained specifications for the concrete base. Bill and his crew were professional in all aspects. They put down boards to protect our lawn from traffic wear from wheelbarrows moving dirt, sand, and concrete to the backyard. They kept us informed about all work issues. They asked permission before doing anything out of the ordinary. They cleaned up everything so that no one would have known they had ever been here except for the two new concrete pads in our backyard. We couldn't have more pleased with the job that Bill and his company performed. The next time I need any concrete work done, I'll know exactly who to call.

The quote was free. He was very professional and very experienced. I knew that he would do a good job. I ended up going with somebody else but I would recommend him.

Bill's reviewed and understood the flooding problem, planned and supervised installation of underground pipes. Also put in a nice concrete walk and flower bed. Very happy with quality of completed project.

I wouldn't recommend Bill's Concrete (Bill Guinn) to anyone. I feel he is extremely unprofessional, irresponsible and completely undependable. Here is why I feel this way: I first called Bill's Concrete (Bill Guinn) about 18 months ago to give me an estimate on replacing an existing wood timber retaining wall with a concrete wall and to add some additional drainage to the yard. He came out and looked at the wall, yet didn't want to give an estimate until I had an engineering report/diagram from one of his friends he recommended. I called the engineer who came out and looked at the retaining wall and water run-off. After paying the engineer and getting a and quot;signedand quot; diagram, I called Bill to return for an estimate. He suggested we wait until the spring. In April of this year (2011), I called Bill to come do an estimate. He again came out, but said he didn't do retaining walls in the spring or summer and that if I could wait until late autumn or winter he would be able to do it at a lower price. I decided to wait and call him again in November. In late October before I called Bill, I received a message from Jeanne in Bill's office. The message said that Bill could come give an estimate on the retaining wall and drainage, and that they would be able to give me a good price. I called Jeanne back to schedule a time for Bill to come out. Jeanne said his schedule was pretty much open for the entire next week (now this week). So I scheduled an appointment for Tuesday. Then on Tuesday shortly before the appointment, Jeanne called to say that Bill had already lined up 3 retaining wall projects and wouldn't be doing any more this year, therefore, he wouldn't be coming out to do an estimate. I felt bad for Jeanne. You could tell that she was embarrassed and ashamed to have to make the phone call saying Bill wouldn't be coming out. You would think Bill would have been man enough to make that call himself, but I guess he would rather subject Jeanne to the embarrassment. (I believe Jeanne is his wife and I know I would never put my wife in that kind of uncomfortable position.) Anyway, after paying one of Bill's friends for an engineering diagram I didn't/don't need and wasting 18 months with his unprofessional approach to his business, I will start looking for someone who is dependable and reliable.

Bill's was very eager for our business and seemed competent to provide the service indicated. In fact, they recommended an engineer to draw up a plan for the work. They were so eager that they called us three times on the day we adopted our daughter to ask if we accepted their bid, even though they knew we were out of town. When Bill's had "finished" the job, we came home to discover that there was an 11 1/2" gap between the bottom portion of each wall and the top portion of each wall, meaning, in other words, that we did not actually have a true wall on either side. When we called to discuss, Bill's blamed the engineer; however, they indicated that they would get back with us to discuss a solution to the problem. We did not hear from Bill's for four days. When we next heard from them, they refused to talk to us about a solution and instead demanded immediate payment for their unfinished work. When we indicated that we would not pay until we had a solution, they stated that they would file for a lien on our property. We did eventually get a solution and a fix to the problem, but only after aggressive negotiation on our part. In the end, Bill's was incredibly eager to court our business but was slow to respond to real problems with their work and to take responsibility for their role in the improperly constructed walls.

It didn't. We backed out of the deal

It is beautiful. They did the work exactly like I wanted it--they added reinforcement as needed and finishing is great. They were very courteous and friendly. Even told me when to be there to add my puppy's foot prints in the new concrete. Their work was on schedule and clean up was great.

Bill's Custom Concrete did not make the repairs that I needed. Estimated cost $3600.

We did have some difficulties setting a date for the job. This was partly due to weather delays and their work load. We had an estimate done in March but decided to wait due to the expense. We had to go ahead with the job because of a tree that continued to worsen the driveway condition. We were told the job would take 4 days; one for tear-out, one for forms, one for pouring the concrete and one for cleanup. The pour took 3 days and then the additional days for the stamped areas to be stained and then sealed. With one rain delay the job really took about 8 days. However, the crew was great and the new driveway etc looks great too. They also removed the tree for me as well. I would advise to do the work in the early spring when they are not as busy.

Bills Custom Concrete and Yard Drainage were backed up for a couple months because they had so much work but we decided to wait for them instead of going with a different company. It was worth it. Everything looks great and the guys were great workers.
