I called and requested Waggonner's clean the A-frame coil and possibly replace the flexible duct work in a duplex I am remodeling. I was happy to learn that a technician could be at the property the next afternoon. I did not ask for a quote because I had worked with them before and knew their prices were generally reasonable and they had done good work in the past. When I showed the technician the unit, he seemed too grossed out to even consider touching it and started chastising me for the debris and lack of filter apparatus even though it was obvious he was standing in a completely gutted, unrenovated, unheated house. Unwilling to stand around, I started painting assuming that he would begin working on it, but heard only the sound of tapping on an iPad/tablet, with no work occurring. The tech went out to his truck and got a tool bag finally, so I hoped he would begin work, but no. He asked me to turn on the HVAC system, even though he was standing 3 feet from the thermostat. I complied and the unit started, so I went back to work. He was running from room to room checking the airflow, not doing anything with the coils. Finally, he stops me and says the coils are dirty and I don't need new ductwork. That's great, I'm thinking, but when is he going to clean the coils, which was the primary reason for him being there? Oh no, the coils are too dirty to clean in the short time I had left in the day, and oh by the way, you owe us $84 for the system evaluation. WHAT!? And would you like a quote for cleaning the coils? WHAT!? I called YOU to clean the coils, I didn't call you to tell me that the coils needed cleaning. I asked what he thought he was there for and he answered that it was a system evaluation only which I learned is their new business model because consumers are stupid, I guess. Ridiculous! UPDATE 2/20/2013: Because of this rant, Waggoner's is refunding my $84 and promised they would begin telling all their customers that the $84 is now their standard service call charge. Thanks, Angie's List!

He went above and beyond, by doing alot of teaching. He let me know exactly what was wrong, and instructed me on how to maintain things moving forward. The price was really good.

These guys came out on a Sunday to work on our A/C in the midst of the late July heat wave. They were very responsive andexplained clearly what was wrong. Pricing seemed good, but since it was a Sunday at 115 degrees I didn't really shop around. At the end of the day, a very good experience.

Past service visits had worked out well, but recent service calls have left me suspicious of the technicians' professional qualifications and objectives. Even though damaged parts have still been under warranty, they have wanted me to purchase the parts from them at exhorbitant prices. Now I give my HVAC business to another company that receives good reviews from Angie's List and whose technicians give me accurate and trustworthy information. I would not recommend Waggoners.

Once Sean, the tech, finished troubleshooting and determined the board was faulty he wired a temporary power lead so the AC unit would continue working until the part could be received.I had an extended warranty that I bought from the installer but they have since gone out of business. Sean and the Waggoner staff contacted York to find that my warranty was indeed still in service and covered both parts and warranty. You can imagine my relief when I found there would be no cost to me. Sean did an excellent job and was prompt, professional and friendly.Waggoner's is definitely on my permanent list of go to service companies!
Description of Work: I have a 2006 York package AC. One of the boards delaminated and had to be replaced. The board failure caused the thermostat to lose it's 24V power supply. I called Waggoner's July 16 in the afternoon. Their tech was out the next day to determine the cause and obtained the replacement part and installed it the following day. Considering this was July in Oklahoma that is outstanding response!

They came out to find that the coils were rusted and under warranty they replaced them. They have done a wonderful job and always take care of everything. I am very pleased with the installation and the service agreement with them.

He is a great guy, he is the best. They are family owned and operated and that guy went above and beyond the call. They are just outstanding. They came in under everybody else and they were carrying much better equipment.

The initial estimate process was friendly and the price quote was agreeable, which is why we went with the company in the first place. They started work shortly after the estimate, but upon arrival the technicians had a difficult time explaining what exactly they were planning to do. In discussing the matter, it appeared as if I knew a little more about the technical components of the job than they did - where the thermometer needed to be, what the proposed time frame was, etc. After completion of the job, we paid and for about a week, things were fine. However, we noticed that the room furthest from the newly zoned system (the one for which we had the booster fan installed) was not getting any cooler. After calling the company, they came out the following day to say that the fan had been installed incorrectly! We also discovered later that all the moving around in the attic had resulted in displacement of the duct work: we were losing cold air in the attic because the ducts had been sloppily pieced back together; another company informed of and reconnected ducts for us. The fan problem was resolved, and the room was cooling a little better, but we then noticed that the area around the central system was colder than it should have been. This was because of a significant leak near the bottom of the platform where cold air seemed to be seeping from. After calling again (this time it took a few days for anyone to come out and they showed up on the weekend), I had explained to the tech. that there seemed to be more air than normal pouring from the system. He tried to tell me it was normal, but after showing him the unit and making him feel around, I convinced him to fix it. He "fixed it" by jamming some piping insulation in the crevice and caulking it. I asked him if it was supposed to be temporary or long-term, and he explained that it was the best he could do at the time, but that someone would be back to finish it. After calling to get someone to finish it, they had told me the tech. reported the job was completed, and no further work would be required specific to that aspect of the job. After several more calls to communicate frustrations, I eventually decided not to use use Waggoners for any more major projects, as they did not appear to be able to get it right the first time.
Description of Work: Waggoners installed a zoning system upstairs, including installation of a thermostat, booster fan, raising the furnace unit, and all electrical components.

I called at 8:30am and they had someone at 9am with everything fully replaced within a couple of hours. The people I spoke to on the phone were great and the technician was very friendly, explained everything he was doing, and did an excellent job. An excellent overall experience.

It’s a local company. Overall, the experience has been good. They’ve done good work and were the only company who had a reasonable estimate. They are a little bit on the expensive side, but the quality of the work is good. In the past, they were an excellent company, but more recently, I’ve had a few issues.

My A/C pan was filling with water from condensation. He asked if I had this problem in the past and I said "no". He then said it was just because it was hot in the attic. He simply put some insulation tape on there and I asked him to put some on my other unit also while he was here. He hesitated and almost charged me another service charge but went ahead and did it for the same cost. My problem continued and then the A/C quit cooling well gradually over the next few weeks. I decided to call another contractor. He said it was low coolant. He added some to all 3 of my units and the whole house has been great ever since, even through the heat wave. I felt that they should have checked this simple thing and since they didn't I not only wasted money on the service call but also on having my A/C run almost all the time for the next 3 weeks until the other contractor fixed it.

This service was under warranty. Two technicians came out after hours last night and today and worked on it till they got it fixed and it is working. I can’t say anything about them that I disliked because the two guys that came out were great and were very dedicated to time and fixed the problem. I appreciated that they came out after hours last night and a weekend today. They were really dedicated to getting a solution to the problem on a 100 degree day. When I bought the unit I thought that it was a little high.

No hassles, but during installation one worker accidentally fell through the ceiling (i also fell through the same spot a few years back) but quickly repaired the damage and profusely appoligized. I made sure to tell Joe (salesman) that make sure you dont fire the worker cause I could completely understand his mistake and was assured they would not. This further made me believe that this company will go far cause in my belief if you treat your workers with respect and honesty then they will do the same and work examples from them will reflect the feelings of company commitment to them.
Description of Work: A/C unit quit, salesman came out on a Sunday and gave estimate and then sent his service man out to give it a look at a weekday price. They loaned me a unit to get mine going while I decided on who I was to use for replacement. I chose Waggoners due in fact partially to Joe's professional handling of my problem and all the above the call of duty effort put out by this company for my behalf. The entire system both heat and air was replaced in 1 day with new vents and ducts. Clean up from the job was superb. Joe came by a couple of weeks later to ensure the job was still good and I was still happy. From now on, I will always be a Waggoners customer, there is just none better. I work in a public service company (not HVAC) and would love to work for an outstanding honest company such as this. This company has the old school mentality of just doing it right and treating customers as they should be.

They are wonderful. I love them. I think it is a family-owned business. They come quickly. They are very polite and honest. They have been very reasonable. They also did some work for me last year. I called them the day before yesterday and since I am an established customer, they came at 8:30 the next morning but when they got here the unit was not serviceable right then, and I told that they shouldn’t do it. They said that they would have to make another appointment. I almost cried and screamed; so they called their office and made it at 4:00 that afternoon so I could go to the office and get back. They came at 4:00 and stayed till 6:30, serviced the unit and got it all going. It was pretty cool. Each time I have talked to them, they have been really nice and they bill it to us so that I don’t even have to pay them immediately because I set it up as our company account. We don’t have providers that will do that anymore. The price was reasonable. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

I called Waggoner’s bright and early on a Saturday morning. The lady who answered the phone took down my information and had a repairman here within an hour. Jacob the repairman did a great job. He was very professional, spent a longtime analyzing the problem and ultimately found the malfunctioning part in our heater. I felt the price was very fair. Jacob was great about explaining what he was finding and what we should do next.
Description of Work: It was a really cold night outside but our heater was shutting off every 5 minutes. We had replaced the thermostat but the problem continued.

Working with Waggoner was wonderful. They were responsive to our call, coming out with an estimate within a couple of days. They did not attempt to sell us more than we needed (unlike our first estimate from a company who told us we needed to completely replace the A/C and furnace system of our 11 year old home). Waggoner came out, explained exactly what we needed, gave their estimate and when we decided to go ahead and hire them they were here ready to work the following Monday. Work took about 8 hours to complete (one full day). They were thorough, friendly and efficient. We also had two personal interactions with Tony Waggoner (owner) - he was following up with the work of his employees and our satisfaction with the outcome.

I solicited several quotes to have my 20 year old HVAC replaced. The quote from Waggoner's was not the lowest, but it was competitive. What made me choose Waggoner's was the quality and professionalism the representative showed when he came to give me the quote. He spent 90 minutes at my house, taking measurements of the square footage, and just making sure that his quote would be accurate for what I needed, not just replacing the existing system. After taking his measurements, I was presented with several quotes for different efficiency systems and options. After considering all of the quotes I had received, I called them back a week later to schedule my install. The next available days were a week later, which was fine with me, since it wasn't that hot yet. The work was completed over two days, after each day the workers cleaned up, so I couldn't tell they had been there. After I used the system for a week or two the original representative came back and inspected the work that had been done, as well as collected payment. I am very happy with the work that Waggoner's performed.
Description of Work: Natural Gas Furnace, A/C Compressor and thermostat were replaced, along with some piping and duct work.

I first had this heating and AC unit installed about 5 years ago. When I had my vents cleaned by a different company, they told me that the unit was not hooked up right which concerned me for some time. When I had Waggoners come out earlier this year to perform the cleaning, they checked the unit and confirmed that it was connected right.
