The experience was good. He was only here about 30 minutes or 45 minutes but he brought out his big electric snake machine and he was able to unclogged the lines and it was good. The office was very easy, I called them Wednesday morning and told me she can have somebody here in the afternoon and I told her I'd be here in the afternoon, he called and was here 10 minutes later and that was good. He was not Mr. Personality but he's very nice and just did his job.

This was our first time using this plumbing company and chose them from the good reviews on Angie's List. The plumber was punctual and thorough on all jobs. Fixed all leaks. We were very happy with him and his service and the price was right. We will definitely recommend this company to others and will use them again in the future.

Replacement of the leaking water water heater was accompished in one-day.

He called to alert me of his arrival and arrived within 15 minutes of the call. Immediately went to work and kept me updated as to what he was doing and why (i.e.: the water valve had been in the house since the house was built in 1965 from the look of it). Very professional, friendly, and courteous.

Mike showed up right when they said he would. He was very nice, wasn't pushy or rushed, and didn't seem to mind fixing my small problems! I didn't comment on the price as I'm new to the whole house maintenance thing, and have only ever used one other company. It was so long ago I don't know what prices should be. Also, being a recent college grad, everything feels expensive. :) That being said, I don't doubt that their prices are at least fair! I would use them again and would definitely recommend to everyone. The "other" plumbing place I'd used before was a terrible experience in comparison.

All aspects of my experience was very professional from making the appointment, interaction with the plumber and, Importantly the plumber's interaction with me the customer. My questions were answered intelligently, the work was flawless and I could not be any more pleased with this experience.

I noticed water damage in the ceiling of my garage under my upstairs A/C system and then found water leaking through the drywall at the top of my upstairs laundry chute. I have a yearly contract with Drabek & Hill so I asked that, Rick, the service technician that usually checks my A/C system (who is wonderful, by the way) come check it out. It was Friday evening by this time. Rick checked out my system and explained that the condensate drain behind my hot water heater was clogged and would have to be unclogged by a plumber. Saturday morning the plumber I normally use was not available. After checking Angie's List for local plumbers with A grades I called Bob's Plumbing. The phone was answered by a very nice woman. I told her the problem I was having and she said she would have Donnie call me. Donnie called right away and said he could come out that morning. He explained the charge for coming on the weekend. I told him that was fine because under the circumstances (I had a bulge in the garage ceiling drywall and was emptying buckets of water from the leak in my laundry chute by this time) I knew if I waited until Monday morning major damage would be caused and it would cost much more to fix. He came out right away and snaked out the drain. He also ran quite a bit of water through the drain to make sure it was unclogged. He was neat, fast, efficient, professional, and friendly. When he handed me the bill I was surprised to see I was charged for exactly what Donnie said was the weekend call charge and not a cent more. I was expecting to be charged for the service call, plus the service performed, plus labor. THANK YOU BOB'S PLUMBING for being one of the very few companies that will answer the phone on weekends. You saved me major money and headaches. And thank you Donnie for being so understanding and cheerful about working on a Saturday morning after what I am sure was a very busy week. I know I was eating into your free time, but you never once made me feel that way.

Buddy did a great job in repairing the broken flange on a toilet base and then went the extra mile in installing a water level sensor so the toilet would properly do acomplete flush.

Discovered drain in bathtub of rental property was clogged and not draining at all. Had new tennant moving same day. Because I live out of town, I called Bob's Plumbing after seeing their name on Angie's List. (Their location is close to our property as well.) I explained the situation and within an hour, a very courteous repairman had fixed the problem! Can't ask for better service! We'll certainly call them again if needed.

They showed up when they said they would. They did the work in a professional manner. They were very friendly and answered our questions as they came up. They came back after it rained to fill in the trench where it had sunk in. they also came back again to smooth out the dirt. We could not have asked for

They did a really god job overall. It took about an hour to complete the work. They were prompt when I called. They guy was professional and knew what he was doing.

Another plumber (Bob Usry & Sons; see separate review) had diagnosed the problem and proposed a solution very carefully and accurately; they proposed to put in the new drain using a horizontal drilling system to reduce disruption in the house and avoid taking up the deck, which would have been nice, but the price they quoted us was nearly $10,000 and did not include all the final repairs. Bob's Plumbing proposed the more traditional method of digging a trench, and estimated that a time-and-materials cost (which is what we requested) would come to between $3500 and $5500 depending on problems they might encounter. Bill, the lead man from Bob's Plumbing, was very down-to-earth, a man of few words, but was always pleasant and easy to reach, and kept us up to date. They ran into a lot of surprises, but were never flustered by them. First the concrete subcontractor hit a water line buried just beneath the concrete in the living room, which he had no way to know was there; Bob's Plumbing fixed it immediately and had our water back on in less than an hour. Taking up the old deck proved tough, and then the sewer wasn't where the City had marked it, but Bill calmly proposed an alternative of tying into our other existing drain line, checked its depth to make sure that would work, and got it tied in quickly once I decided to accept his suggestion. Bill and the workers were all pleasant and efficient. They got the job done right in the end, and the only reason I put a B for quality was that I thought they could have avoided most of the damage to the sprinkler system. We had carefully marked for them exactly where to expect sprinkler lines and wires, but with all mess of dirt and trenches across the yard they lost track of those spots and hit just about every pipe and wire there was to hit. They also drove over and broke a sprinker valve whose cover had been hidden under some dirt. Also, when they first put in the cleanout access they put it right in the middle of a path; when we pointed this out, they apologized and promptly moved it. Then when filling in the trenches they backed into that cleanout access and broke the riser pipe all the way down at the drain, so they had to come back and dig down to the drain and replace the joint and the access pipe. (They did not charge for that.) So everything got done right in the end, but it would have been simpler if the guys had been more detail-oriented. Their final bill was justs $3700, which was amazing considering the other bid we got, and the unexpected problems they ran into. That's partly because we decided to do the sprinkler and deck repairs ourselves, but it's still impressively cost-efficient. Their itemized bill was very detailed and clear. I came to trust them--not to be perfect, but to be honest and diligent and competent--and I will certainly use them again, unless I have a highly complex project that requires superior attention to detail.

They did some repair on outside plumbing line and preparation for some additional plumbing work. The job went excellent. They were prompt and courteous. They did a good job. I would definitely recommend them to others.

They are professional. They did what they said they would do in the time they said. I would use them in the future.

They were on schedule and called to let us know they were coming. They stayed with the problem and didn't assume the easy fix was going to work and leave us with a leaking faucet, but took the time to wait to see if in fact it had been fixed. On the other hand the plumber didn't quickly go to the more expensive process of tearing out the inside wall and replacing the entire unit.

We noticed the leak by the water meter and had the City check it out. After their representative told us the problem was ours, we contacted several plumbing companies. since we could not get in touch with our previous plumber, we used Bob's Plumbing. We decided to have the plumber fix several problems we had inside th house since he would be coming to the house to fix the outdoor leak.The job itiself is described above.

I liked him. He said that he could not fix it. He did not charge me because he could not fix it. It was amazing as he had spent some time on it. He spent about an hour working on it. I don't think that I am likely to need him anytime soon because I had to get a new machine.

The owner of the businsess came out to provide the estimate and once I decided to have the work done, I made another appt with the workers for the job. I was happier with the plumber who did the faucet work because he arrived promptly, explained what the problem was, what my options were and answered my questions. On the other hand, the people that did the drain work seemed unprepared for the job and instead of bringing power equipment to dig the trench in the heavy red clay at my house, they attempted to to dig it by hand. There seemed to be poor communication between the owner providing the estimate and the workers since they seemed surprised about the extent of the job.

Plumber arrived in less than 5 minutes even though this wasn't an emergency. Very friendly and professional.

He was extremely polite and knowledgeable, and he explained things well. I just have one complaint: he advertises in the phone book and says that he gives a senior citizen discount, but he told me that the quote he gave me was the lowest he could go. I felt like that was false advertising. Other than that, I felt really good about him. I would have used him except that he did not honor the senior citizen discount that I saw in the phone book so I don't think he is truthful.

The work was way too expensive. The quality of the work was fine. His professionalism was also fine.

They're very nice. Part of the work that they did is usually what the city does but the city wouldn't do it. So they worked with me on the price because they didn't feel it was fair that the city didn't do it for me. They gave me their cost for the materials they used. The main was actually in my neighbor's backyard. They had to pull back their chain link fence and then they put it back and you couldn't even tell they ever took it out. They are very nice and courteous. The say what they are going to do. That was the third time that they had been to my house. I called around and their prices seemed to be cheaper than the other estimates that I was getting.

Delighted with the fact that the repair cost about half what I expected. All work was done in one afternoon and done professionally. Plumbers were efficient and let me know at all stages what was going on. All the work was necessary and carried out in a professional manner. UPDATE: Several weeks after the repair, I had to call Bob's for some warranty work on the tub hot and cold water taps they put in, and they did the work quickly. I think that the faucet replacement set they used was "what they could find at the moment" to fit my 1960 vintage plumbing, as it is still not quite working properly, but I know that when I call them again their work is warranteed for ... a year if I recall correctly... so I will eventually have a perfectly-functioning tap set. I am happy with their work so far even though I do not yet have that perfectly-functioning bath tap.

City would not leave water on in a newly purchased house because water was going through the meter. I called Bob's and made an appointment. The technician arrived on time and quickly located and fixed the leak. I will definitely call them again for any plumbing problems.
