Description of Work: We purchased a home that needed minor electrical work. They added an electrical outlet to the bathroom, secured loose wires in the attic, grounded electrical outlets throughout the house. A bunch of little, but important, things. I will call them again if we need further work done.

Description of Work: When selling my Dad's home, I had a pre-inspection done, which included several electrical issues. Mr. Johnson came to give a quote per the inspector's worst-case list of work. I accepted his bid, because I felt he was an honest and fair man. When the work was actually done a couple of days later, some of the inspector's issues were not issues at all. The electrians from Johnson's explained those instances to me and did not charge me for them. My final bill was less than half of the estimate. That is real honesty in my opinion. As a female knowing nothing about electrical issues, it would have been easy for them to just say "we did everything" and charge me the full estimate. I would have never known the difference, so I really appreciate their honesty. I will be selling my own home soon and will be calling Johnson's to fix any electrical issues I may have!

Description of Work: I had my kitchen counters redone and the rewiring for outlets and undercounter lighting, and new recessed ceiling lighting was done by Johnson's. A few months later they did some outdoor work on floodlights around my home.

Initially, I had blown a circuit on one side of my house because two wires had touched during a DIY wall outlet replacement and repair - when I turned the breaker panel back on, there was a pop in the house and viola---we had no electricity on one side of the house! But what was weird was the breaker panel did not actually show WHERE the short was (and this is a large 48 count breaker panel) So after attempting to repair it one last time and failing, we called in Johnson's Electric. They were out the next day. While I am still not exactly sure WHY the panel did not show the short, he was able to trace the wire back to the source of the issue and remedied the problem. Then "while he was there" we had a few questions about other electrical issues - like an open junction box buried in a wall and a few other things we found during a demolation....he answered all our questions. The bill? I was expecting an astronomical bill considering how long he had actually been at the house, but it was a very reasonable amount. In fact, it makes me wish I had called them sooner!
Description of Work: I had a long standing short that defied repair. The electrician was in and out in a matter of a day, diagnosed and fixed the problem, plus did additional work for us while he was there. Very professional and very helpful.

They came and gave the estimate and began work immediately. I have used them for other electrical work and found everyone I dealt with very professional and knowledgeable.
