Johnson's Electric Service

I needed new wiring for the range hood because current wiring was too short plus no grounding wire per the installation instructions. The electrician quoted me a price based on the sheet he showed me of various jobs. He classified this in the ceiling fan category which was $282.00. Plus a dispatch fee of $49.00. For a total of $331.00. I was appalled at the cost and told him that was excessive. But, I told him to go ahead with the work since he was present and I wanted to get the hood installed. He was there about 80 minutes. I feel like we really got over charged. Yesterday morning the day after the installation (install on March 14, 2017) I called around to several electrical service businesses in Lawton, OK. I got $80-$105 dollars per hour. I will NOT be using Johnson's Electric Service again. He did make a gesture of refunding the $49.00 dispatch fee. But that makes the cost $282.00 which is 2-3 times what others would charge. The electrician did assist me in physically placing the range hood.

I had the same experience as the reviewer in August 2014. Called and was told would respond by 1:00, but never called or came by. They must think they are the cable company. Unprofessional and poor customer service. Wouldn't trust electrical expertise if customer service is poor.

Called Johnson's for installation of a 220V outlet. Not only did they install the outlet, but diagnosed a long standing problem that 2 other electricians missed. Gary went above and beyond. Very professional and courteous. Completed work quickly and I felt provided superior service.Would absolutely recommend.

As usual, these guys are awesome!!! I called on Thursday and they came out that day to give me an estimate on the price to move the washer/dryer outlet's to another wall ($259). They came out the next morning and completed the job to standard and only took them an hour to finish everything. This is my fourth time using this company and I can guarantee you that they will do the job right the first time and always on budget. They are very professional and really know what they are doing and that is why I will continue to use this company for ANY electrical needs around my house. I would highly recommend them to do any type of house hold electrical jobs you might need.

Service was very good and the electricians were very friendly and polite. They took their time and explained what they where doing. We felt like all of our questions were answered. The price was reasonable and I appreciated that they arrived when they said they would. Only one small issue with the service in that I had short notice regarding the service time, but I understand that they are busy and their desk plugs them in on short notice. Overall I was very happy with the service and will use them again.

As usual, they came on time and were very professional! I've never had a problem with them and they always do the best job and you can't beat the price. They showed up on time and finished fixing my two wall outlets and also installed two fans on my back patio within 2hrs. They did an outstanding job and cleaned up after the job was complete and took away the empty boxes and did an awesome job for me. I've used Jand J for over 2 yrs now and they have never let me down. I would HIGHLY recommend them for any electrical needs or installs.

They were good and inexpensive. The front desk clerk was not very thorough I would recommend someone a little bit more professional but the services were great minus her customer service.

It went very well. He was there at exactly the time expected. Did a quick professional job, and is coming back to install new light fixtures for. He cleaned up where he worked and was in and out quickly, doing an excellent job.

I couldn't get anyone else to return my calls. I called Johnson's on a fluke and they came the SAME day. I thought the electrician was very nice and thorough. He was fast and neat.

The lights were turning off everywhere else except the kitchen at times. Fixed my AC unit. They came right away.

They said the older fan wasn't worth repairing and it was cost effective to replace with a new. Since I already had the new fan they recommended, installation was fast and easy. They were neat and clean. I will use them again.

I contacted them in Monday November 28 to replace a breaker in a outdoor box that keeps tripping off. I promptly received a call back and set up a service date for Friday the 2nd. No show, no call.

Following my initial request for assistance on Monday (8/8/2011) morning, I was contacted by a repair team of 2 men to confirm address and ensure that I would be home. The repair team arrived at approximately 9:00 a.m. and began to trouble shoot the H/VAC electrical service. They confirmed that the 60 amp fuze installed on Saturday had again blown. The lead electrician recommended that the old style fuze box be replaced with an up-to-date circuit breaker. I agreed. Following this part of the system diagnosis, the repair team inspected the house main electrical service and panel and discovered that it was also an old style fuze box was wearing out and two of the old fuze blocks showed signs of arcing. The team leader and I discussed options and I agreed to have the whole outside part of the electrical service replaced as soon as possible. The team leader then called his supervisor (the company owner) to see when the work could be scheduled. It was determined that the work could be done that same day. At approximately 10:00 a.m., the electrical service main was shut off, disconnected, and replacement began. Everything went smoothly - to include scheduling our electrical utility provider to be on site to hook service back up and the city's code enforcement inspector to sign-off on the job when finished. All work and inspection of the system was completed at 5:15 p.m. that same day. After the service was restored, the lead electrician went through the house and checked all receptacles, switches, appliances, lamps, etc. to ensure all were working properly. I have waited two weeks before submitting this report to ensure that there were no additional electrical system problems. During this period, the A/C was running almost non-stop because it has been 100+ degrees on all but one day.

The experience was just outstanding. I called and asked for the service call at 10:30 in the morning and they arrived at about 2 o'clock that same day. Two service men responded. The service was performed in a timely and professional manner.

I called Johnsons elec. They never came and never called back. I called Yantsy elec who came but was slow and charged me alot more than I expected.
