They did a really good job of readjusting all my sprinkler heads and everything and then provided a quote within a couple of days to do additional work that I may need done at the house. The price was good for what they did and what the additional work I may have had done. They were very professional.

+ -1 moreWent very well - I debated on an A or B on punctuality as they were later than expected but had called ahead to let me know (they got delayed on the job before mine) so probably could have gone either way on that grade. I appreciated that they made some good suggestions for future improvements with pros and cons, and sent me a detailed quote about them a week later, but there was no pressure to buy anything. In this case, I plan to go forward with the recommended improvements. Sould definitely recommend them to others.
Description of Work: I was having them do both a 'yearly' check of the system (a seperate coupon/charge thru Angie's list...a very good deal) and to check the controller as it wasn't working at all. They came out, let me watch while they checked the controller and it's power supply to help verify that the controller was bad. (system was 10+ years old). Replaced the controller quickly and then did the yearly check and adjustment of all sprinkler heads as well as noting areas that could be improved (I have a large yard with multiple rotating & pop up heads as well as flower bed misters). The next week sent me an estimate in case I want the improvements done. The

Description of Work: There was a home visit with a discussion of what I wanted. In a timely manner I received plans & pictures representing the plan. Plants were named & the plan was broken into 2 phases as I requested.

His crew did a good job with what they've done so far, but it's not a whole lot to go on yet. Not sure if our job is 'too small' or if he's just got bigger clients, but it seems that were pretty far down on his priority list.
Description of Work: John put together several plans for the separate areas of our back yard. He's done one part of the plan so far, which included planting three trees (two died; he replaced them) and putting in some pampas grass.

Also, the sprinkler wiring system had not been insulated by the installer; so the provider did that as well. No complaints from me. WIll use him again.

However, due to the large amount of customers they are very slow to respond. Notwithstanding that, I will wait and use them - they impressed me that much.

Description of Work: They initially came out and took pictures and developed a plan for re-landscaping my front yard. By email, we went over some designs they had developed by using the photos and a software program that allowed design. Once we settled on the plan, we scheduled the job, which was completed in about a day and a half.

They came out quickly to replace the heads and add new heads where we were not getting coverage in our yard. They spent a lot of time out here and I felt like their price was reasonable. We plan to use this company when we add landscaping later this summer. Honestly, it's difficult to find landscaper's with high character and work ethic like them. A+++ from us!

He is a nice and pleasant person to do business with. They say what they do and do what they say, which is all we can ask for. He kept in contact by phone, as the process was long. He was prompt and I would have no problem recommending him to anybody.

Called Shades of Green informed them The electrical work was done said he would be out to repair sprinkler system have never heard from him again. I paid him 60.00 to be told I needed an electrician who said the fix was so easy he would not charge me. |Rick
Description of Work: I talked to owner on phone and confirmed appointment to assess why my sprinkler system was not working. He came out on time I believe. Was pleasant to talk to had a helper with him. He looked at my control panel said was no power. I showed him where the panel received power he told me I needed to get an electrician out and he would come back and fix after the electrician came out. I had the electrician out he fixed the issue told me that it was something the sprinkler repair person could have done and he did not charge me.
