Well, at first when I set the appointment up it was the end of the day on Thursday or Friday. They said they got bogged down on the previous job and called at about 3 for a 3:30 appointment to reschedule. I had left work early to meet them and didn't get the message until I had gotten home. Wasted some leave. This was on a Friday so I called them and rescheduled for Monday same time. They got there 30 minutes early and I was still at work when they arrived and called me. My wife had texted me saying some pickup truck was parked in the street outside and wasn't sure if it was them. So I left even earlier than planned to meet them. I don't remember but I don't think there was a sign on the truck. Probably not good to have 2 guys just sitting alongside our house in an unmarked truck in the road (parking on the road isn't allowed in our neighborhood so it makes people concerned). I left early and the guys were nice. They did a quick job and seemed very efficient with their work. They seemed to know what they were doing. It was a very reasonable price and done much quicker than I could have done it especially reprogramming that timer, I've wasted an hour or two on that thing alone. It did take 10 days or so to get their email "audit" to me on what they did but since it was already done and since I was there the whole time it wasn't important to me. I would hire them again and the savings in water use after reprogramming will probably pay for having them do the adjustments.

Scheduling was easy, the technician arrived on time, and he did a good job with the tune up. The system is running just fine.

John and his crew showed up on time and completed the work within a few hours. They were extremely careful in the areas that fell within existing flowerbeds. When they were finished, there was no evidence that they had even been there. While the cost may seem high for landscape lights, I do need to note that the lights are LED and are housed in brass fixtures, which means they are going to last for a long, long time. I can honestly say that John is one of the finest contractors I have ever had the pleasure of working with on a home improvement project. He is a conscientious, dedicated man of high integrity. I would strongly recommend his services for any project that involves lighting, landscaping, water features or sprinklers. I am looking forward to working with John on future projects around my home.

The contact was made within 24 hours of purchasing the service. The appointment was set and they arrived on time and were through and complete in their work. This is to be commended seeing the service was provide in the "busiest time" of the irrigation season in Oklahoma. They were professional and courteous. Very well. John was professional and explained everything. He went over any possible charges that may come up before he even started the audit. He also went over all of his findings before leaving. We will definitely recommend this company and use them again if needed.

They arrived on time, checked the sprinkler heads, readjusted a couple of them, made certain all we're functioning and that was all.

Absolutely stellar service! Scheduled promptly and arrived on time. Called just before to remind of appointment and let me know they were on their way. Very friendly, thorough and professional. Obviously had great expertise in the service area. Checked my entire sprinkler system (6 zones), repaired several broken heads, readjusted to maximize water use and coverage, set my automatic system for even days in compliance with city water rationing plan, educated me on the system and went over everything they did. All service was done in a timely manner. I will definitely use them again.

The crew of 3 showed up on time and checked out each of the sprinkler locations to make sure they were working properly. They replaced 2 of the heads and adjusted those that were not spraying properly. They made recommendations about what should be done to keep them working properly and gave me an estimate for some additional work that I wanted performed.

Everything checked out ok, they didn't find anything wrong.

Evaluation went better after making the contractor aware that I was going to be watching his survey of the system. His assistants were eager to say everything was okay with a zone and acted eager to be on their way to the next location. When I pointed out items in the area that needed some attention they seemed more interested in doing the job right. I received a quotation for minor repairs to the system within 24 hours of the initial evaluation. The individual prices for the proposed repairs seemed high to me and I have delayed approving the work due to the cost.

He was so good that I hired him to do some landscaping. John has a marvelous sense of design. Much better than other landscapers I've used. The landscaping turned out perfectly, much better than I anticipated.

We just bought a new house and needed to find a company to take care of our sprinkler system which had some problems. We found Shades of Green on Angie?s list and purchased a tune-up and repair service from them. John was very professional and even though we had to reschedule once (our fault), he kept in great contact with us over the phone and even called 30 minutes before they arrived. Once here, he and his crew inspected and fixed our system. We had a handful of broken things, which they fixed. We had some broken equipment over what was allowed in the tune-up, so we of course had to pay a bit extra for that, but the price was very reasonable and we were thrilled to get it all taken care of so quickly. He even programmed our system to be compliant with local water restrictions, which we really appreciated since we were totally new to the area. He also noticed a fungus on our roses and gave us some free advice on how to take care of it - saving us a ton of hassle (we just thought they were thirsty, lol). All in all, they really went above and beyond, and we are happy to have found Shades of Green. We?d recommend them highly to anybody, and will definitely be using them again!

Never heard from the company to set up a meeting. I had to hire someone else.

Disappointed that he could not fix our sprinkler system--he had to replace it. He happened to have one in the car and installed it same day. Gave us a discount for being with Angie's list--but we still paid more than I would have liked. He set up the system and zones and said that our grass roots looked shallow and that we needed to water for 60 minutes a day 2x a week--that sounds crazy to us, but we're going to try it. Overall please with service, just seemed a little steep for a mediocre system that had to be replaced.

Apparently the in-ground sprinkler system business is a booming trade. After contacting two other companies, who had repeatedly made promises to come by with estimates, we found Shades of Green here on Angies List. John and his crew came out, gave us an immediate estimate and worked with us on a good date to install...note weather can be a factor, which can effect any company installation date/time. Great job, and very professional...definitely recommend to others.

Crew was fast & efficient and had to work for a couple of water heads to find them under the landscape material. Happy they were doing it rather than myself.
