We were having a partial power outage and gave Steve a call. He returned our call within 24 hours (as stated in his voicemail) and made an appointment with us. He recommended that before his appointment we call the electric company to make sure it wasn't on their end since they would be free of charge. Fortunately it was and we cancelled with Steve. However, it spoke volumes about steve's integrity to recommend a no cost fix to avoid paying him a service call to tell us the same thing. I will absolutely be using him for any future electrical needs.

Steve is among the very best tradesman I have worked with for my houses over the years. He was on time and very flexible about working around the delivery date for the spa. Spent a half day ahead of the delivery running the line through the attic so it was ready to go for final hookup the date spa company was able to deliver. Steve is very conscientious about quality of his work and was often live on the phone talking to Edmond electrical inspector making sure the install would adhere to code and pass inspection. This included moving the 800lb (dry) tub after the spa company's people had left so as to clear some outside light fixtures. Had no power on initial startup attempt by myself - Steve came out the very next morning fixed the problem in 5 minutes after a quick consult with the spa dealer (Hot Spring uses a somewhat unusual wiring configuration). I am very impressed and will hire Steve again to repair/replace some outside lighting fixtures.

It was very positive. He could have easily have cheated me, because I did not know the problem. He was great. He gave me the easiest solution to the problem. One worker was present, and he left the area cleaned.

Steve was very professional he explained what needed to be done. My father was an electrician and I knew enough from listening to my Dad growing up that Steve was being honest with me. I liked the fact that he was patient and didn't try to over charge me or try to talk me into anything. I asked him about the lights under my kitchen cabinets as they weren't working the way I wanted the to. They would get to hot I was concerned that they were not properly installed by another contractor. He replaced the lighting under the cabinets. The lights are awesome and they are not hot. It gives me peace of mind that I won't have a fire due to faulty wiring. I would definitely use Steve again.

Found Steve through Angie's List and called for an estimate (due to the high ratings). He showed up promptly and I explained everything I wanted. The next day I had a quote in my email and I agreed. We scheduled the start date and estimated time to complete (2.5 days). He is very nice and keeps you informed the whole time. He explained everything that he was doing and why it should be done. He showed on the agreed scheduled time to do the work with a helper Joe. They completed the original job within the time frame estimated. I even asked for another little project while he and Joe were there and he was able to do that on a Saturday. It worked out and I would highly recommend him.

It went great! Steve came out a week ago to give me a bid and do some initial investigation. At that time, he told me he believed the fixtures themselves had gone bad and not the wiring and suggested I buy new fixtures so they'd be here when he came out to do the work. Then, if we found I didn't need them, I could return them. This would save me the labor hours for him to go pick fixtures up. I ordered the fixtures I wanted from Amazon and had them when he came back yesterday. He installed the new fixtures, and they worked perfectly, proving that it was, indeed, the fixtures that had gone bad. He did a great job, cleaned up completely afterward and charged a very minimal price for the work he'd done. I'm very pleased with his work and will call him again when I'm ready to have some electrical work done inside the house.

Promptly returned my initial call. Set up appointment. Called before arrival. Arrived on time. Performed services as needed. In fact, I had purchased the incorrect outdoor uplight, and Steve came back the next day to install. Everything working. Couldn't be happier. I've found my new electrician.

This guy is the best! His recording said he'd call me back in 24 hours, he did. He was on time. He was very pleasant and outgoing. He explained the problem (the box was making hissing and popping noises), explained exactly what he was doing. I felt he was very reasonable, and he will now be my go to guy for any future electrical issues. I will recommend him to anyone who needs someone reliable.

'm confident he would have down the job correctly. He was the most professional of all of the electricians we talked to. I'll definitely call him on any future projects and even the construction of a new home the road. We were very impressed with his customer service and knowledge. His estimate was right near what several others had quoted. We felt it was very reasonable. Ultimately our budget wouldn't allow for us to use him but he was our first pick.I I will continue recommending him to all of our friends and family.

Steve and his co-worker worked tirelessly to figure out why the circuit was not working. After many trips upstairs, downstairs, inside and out, they were able to trace the circuit to an outside panel and replaced a defective breaker. Both men where VERY professional and courteous. I would 100% use Steve again for any electrical needs. Great job!

Such a nice man - explained everything he was doing and why. Went on and above when expecting an issue in the attic. Made sure everything was cleaned up. Very professional - will definitely use him in the future.

Steve was super pleasant to talk to and did a great job. He answered all of my questions and was patient when I needed things repeated. The service was exactly what I needed. He even went further and tightened all of my connections and did an electrical inspection to ensure that my older home still met electrical code. On top of that, I was doing some of my own electrical work the following day and called him with a wiring question. Again, he was pleasant, helpful, and told me I could call any time. I don't see Steve as just an electrician; I truly feel comfortable calling him for electrical advice at any time and know that he isn't just paying me lip service when he extends that offer.

Joe came out a day before the work was done and checked the place out in order to draft a quote. We received the quote that day and it was written clearly and concise. Steve and Joe came out the next day and started right to work late morning and finished up just after 4:00 pm. They were very punctual and did excellent work. We had an old heating element from the 60s replaced which required running a vent out through the roof and also performing a fair amount of electrical work between the breaker and the bathroom outlet. Everything was explained perfectly and Steve described what was needed to stay in code. I was impressed how fast they got the work done as they work very well together. They cleaned up the areas they were working and it looked like they were never there. A most excellent job well done.

Steve Ocker is the best in the business and in his field. He is professional, very honest and upfront with the costs, equipment and time required for the job. Upon hiring him, we gave him a key to home as we were not living in the home yet (hence it needed lighting and heat, etc.) and Steve was very good at communicating when he would come to home to work and when he would leave the home and lock the doors. We never had to worry when Steve was working as he always ensured the home was secure before leaving for the day or at anytime he had to leave. Steve really used the best materials for the job and unlike most electricians, he allowed us to purchase much of the lights required, bulbs, and other equipment required for the job through his working account at local suppliers in order to give us a break on the costs of the materials. He knew we had a bad experience with the previous electrician and we appreciated his efforts to help us out on the costs of the materials. He was also very informative for the type of equipment we needed to buy before he started the job. He took me through the entire home and pointed out all materials that were needed for the job. During the job, Steve was so good at communicating, especially when he encountered electrical issues that were either not done great by the previous electrician or were previously done well and he would always communicate everything to us in a timely manner. Steve also had integrity about his work ethic that you rarely find today. For example if a light fixture was accidently broken while he worked (either by him or his apprentice), he was always quick to tell us he would replace it. Steve is also very knowledgeable in his field and we appreciated the kind of expertise he gave us for this job since so much work had already been done previously so our job was not the easiest for him to tackle being he did not start it from the beginning. It was also one of his biggest jobs he had this last year and considering the amount of work and unanticipated problems encountered, Steve did a great job ensuring he would have the home ready to move in by our move in date, and in the end, he kept his promise by staying late and even finishing up the last bit of work in the basement and on outside of home after hours to make sure everything was in place and equipment was all working before the move in and final inspection. He definitely met our deadline for move in but better yet, he exceeded our expectations also as he did a wonderful job in getting all the final electrical work done on our home. Since we have now lived in our house for a couple of months since all the final installation was done, I can attest that we have not had one single electrical issue with anything!! Like I said, Steve is the best in the business!!! We will hire him again for all our electrical needs in the future - his number is on our iPhone speed dial!

Steve was hired to perform an unusual and difficult installation of a heavy duty chandelier lift, and to install the necessary additional ciruits required. I believe a less committed electrician would have thrown up his hands and recommended that I find someone else to do the job. However, Steve is absolutely the most honest, responsible and committed electrician I have ever encountered, and there have been many over the years. He is very personable, honest, trustworthy and communicative. I will never use anyone else again for my electrical needs. I can't recommend him more highly.
