Steve was quick in responding from the first call back to get a quote, coming out to give us a quote, getting a written quote to us, and then the actual installation. He did what he said he would do for a competitive price. He had a great BBB rating as well as here on Angie's List and we felt comfortable going with him. We were not disappointed. We will certainly call him in the future for electrical work should we need it and would recommend him to others as well.

My mom's house has needed rewiring for a long time, and during his initial inspection, Steve informed us that the entire house had aluminum wiring, which is not uncommon for houses built in the late '60s to early '70s. I asked him for a quote to rewire the garage (light, garage door opener and light switch), replacing the aluminum with new copper. He did the majority of the job in one day, but had to come back the following day because he had difficulty finding a part for the new circuit. He didn't drone on with any excuses, just reasoned that the part was harder to find than he expected. The unexpected issue was minor and it did not impact anyone's schedule, so I appreciate that he took his time to find the correct solution. I highly recommend him for any job. Steve is honest and upfront, and doesn't mind answering questions.

I have trusted Steve Ocker to do my electrical work for several years now. He has done everything for me from rewiring my pool electrical system (which was poorly installed by a previous electrician - not Steve) to his recent repair of some light fixtures and switches. Steve is very responsive, does outstanding work, and is very focused on taking good care of his customers. I recommend Steve without hesitation.

Steve arrived and got right to work taking down our old fluorescent garage light and installing a double outlet on the wiring used for the fluorescent. He then worked with me to find the best installation arrangement for two new LED fixtures and installed them. I mentioned that we had had a problem with one of two ceiling fans we had wired together, so he checked the wiring and properly connected the ground, solving a problem no one else had been able to figure out for years. If you need an electrician, just call Steve.

Steve showed up on time and quickly diagnosed a problem we had with one of our ceiling lights. He replaced an old 3-way switch that had failed and everything was good as new. While he was on site he surveyed an area outside where we wanted a new electrical outlet and worked up an estimate. Steve is very professional, does quality work and really pays attention to the customer's needs. We highly recommend him for your electrical needs.

Turned out my timer was 25 years old--an outdated model. Rather than sell me a new one, Steve contacted the manufacturer for a manual. The manufacturer couldn't believe this model was still in existence, but were able to locate and email the manual. The manual was in tiny print. Using a magnifying glass, Steve patiently fixed the timer. He also corrected my outlet making it GFCI safe.

All went well as expected. Problem fixed with no problems.

I called and left a message to make an appointment. Four days later I haven't received a call back.

We liked him. He was very nice, also. The show-up fee was like $50 just to pull in the driveway, which my husband did not like at all. However, since he did work, that went against the work. He fixed the bathroom light switches, replace them or whatever. I was having trouble with the light switch in my bathroom but not as often, and I told him it was having a problem. He went in there and said no, it doesn't have a problem. But guess what, he had to come back, so I wasn't too happy about that. But he was good. He was here when he said he would be.

Very good. The tech was on time, courteous, professional and helpful.

It went well except had to get a new fan since first light kit was bad. He came back.

Steve came to our home and analyzed an electrical issue in our backyard pergola area. He quickly identified the issue which was due to improper work that had been performed during the initial installation of the outlets and light switches. He and his assistant quickly repaired the problem and restored power to the outlets and switches. He also installed better weather proof covers on the outlets. When they were finished, they cleaned up the area and you could not tell they had even been there. Steve is the consummate professional and he clearly explained all the work he was performing. For me, I will not even think about calling another electrician when I have a problem. Thank you Steve and Carlos!

Service was great. Steve is very professional and personable. I am very happy with all the work that was completed. He also fixed a defective switch and several defective GFI outlets at my mother's house. He is very prompt, responds to phone calls very timely and takes time to answer all questions. I would definitely recommend him to others and will call again any time I need an electrician.
