rewire is complete and permits are all passed inspection as needed people like Steve are the reason after a fire I can get back into my house and live a life again.

He appeared to have fixed the problem, but then the same problems retuned shortly after he left. I called him and he promptly returned later that day; again it seemed to be fixed after he finished.. Over the weekend it went off again, and and he returned on Monday, 5/28/2012. He worked on the fan-light again with the problem once more appearing to be resolved. The same problem returned and I decided not to give him another attempt. I got it fixed through a third party that fixed it at the wall switch and at the fan-light. I got the impression that though prompt and very willing each time, he had a big workload.

Mr. Ocker arrived on time and got right to work. He left at one point to obtain parts, and returned quickly. He explained everything he was doing in the way of troubleshooting. At one point he consulted with the local power utility regarding the service to the house. It just so happened that he needed to sign papers that day on a house he was buying, which caused an interruption for a short while in the late afternoon, but he returned and worked into the evening to complete the job. This is the second time Mr. Ocker has performed electrical work on my home -- the first time he discovered that an audiovisual company had supplied power improperly to a wall-mounted flat screen television while he was installing new circuits. I mention this because he is very conscious of safety issues when he reviews existing work. We trust Steve Ocker and don't call other electricians.

Exceptionally well. Put in 7 GFI's which required extra work (at no extra charge) due to my old fashioned electric lines. Also helped repace a wall oven and went above and beyond to get this ficture perfectly right! Even helped me dispose off the old wall oven to a nearby donation center. Very courteous,well read and all round personality. Will only use Steve for any electrical wok at my place and I will have no quams in recommending Steve.

Steve arrived right on time for the appointment. He and his assistant quickly installed the light fixture, but ran into issues in my attick concerning a light switch problem I had. It took Steve a good hour and a half in my attick to correct the problem.

Came to the house. Waited on me, late leaving an appointment. Knows his job. Good person also. Completed the job in a timely manner. Overall a nice experience.

This was a small job to be sure, however, Steve treated it as if it were a big job. First, he arrived, literally within 30 seconds of when he said he was going to arrive and before anything, made sure I was aware that he was licensed. We discussed again what was required and he gathered his equipment and began the assessment of what was required. He said it was not a problem and he'd have me fixed up soon. Here are some points worth note that made this an outstanding experience. 1.) He installed the boxand made certain that it was well reinforced to the stud to be sure it didn't ever come loose through the wall. 2.) He wired through an existing socket. He didn't like how the socket was mounted (was coming loose, so he repalced it and reinforced it as well at no labor cost to myself. 3.) He kept his work area tidy and when he was finished, replaced the attic flooring and thoroughly cleaned up his work area. 4.) We had discussed a ballpark price for the job (obviously depends on the actual conditions upon arrival) and he made very effort to come below the cost estimate which he did. He offered to answer any questions I might have by phone call at any time. His attitude was exceptional and his work was professional.

I spoke with Steve Ocker on Wednesday. He said he was busy for about a week but said he had an electrician who sometimes works with him who might be able to come sooner. His friend Joe Ledlow called me back in a few minutes and said he would be here at 9:00 a.m. the next morning. Joe called Thursday morning to say he was having trouble getting his tools from the shop, which was locked, and would be a few minutes late. (I rated him "excellent" for punctuality because he called me to say he would be a little late and was true to his word). Joe was very professional and courteous. He looked the job over and said he needed to pick up some materials. A few minutes later he returned with the materials and completed the job quickly and professionally. He also replaced a faulty GFCI outlet in the garage and helped me install a heavy piece of the new sauna. I would highly recommend Steve and Joe!

The experience went as planned He was prompt and courteous and did the job.

He was running late from another job, but called ahead to let me know. Once he arrived all went well. I would use him again, just have not gotten around to calling.

Job was completed as expected.

Steve did a great job. The exterior flood light fixtures were corroded and many had ceased to work. Steve discovered that many of the wiring connections had been secured with duct tape (yes, duct tape!) inside the fixtures. He corrected the wiring connections, replaced all the light fixtures and silicone-caulked the base of the fixtures to prevent water intrusion.

He was very professional, did the job in a timely manner and was very reasonably priced.

Steve accommodated our remodeling schedule and made two separate calls to complete the job as requested. We were very pleased with Steve's work and would use him in the future as well as recommend him.

It never got started because he was too busy even to find out what I needed. Pretty rude just to blowoff calls.

Showed on time was very thorough and professional. Cleaned up and left.

He was extremely nice and considerate. He provided a very thorough walkthrough of our home (which was built in 1950) and was patient while we pointed out numerous electrical concerns we had in the home. He was also helpful in provided thoughtful options and solutions to some of our concerns. I can not say enough good things about this man and his work. I felt that he genuinely cared about the work he did and in helping us to be safe in our home. He also pointed out a few other electrical issues for us to be aware of and to keep on our repair radar. When he was trouble shooting the lack of electricity to a part of our home, he noticed the wires weren't capped safely and he took the time to redo them correctly further ensuring our safety in our older home. He is a great electrician who really cares about his work and his customers. I will continue to use him for all of our electrical needs.

Steve is a very friendly, easy going but professional provider. He did a thorough inspection of my electrical system including fixing an issue in the circuit breaker. He also installed a GFI outlet to meet electrical code. I have more work to be done and will be calling him back.

Very well. Was very professional and friendly and would recommend him again for any of our future electrical/lighting needs.

Steve was professional and responsive. Very nice to actually get a hold of an electrician after several failed attempts to contact others. He is a very nice guy, my wife, children, and dog where immediately comfortable around him. He has completed the repairs absolutely to my satisfaction, and I will be having him back for some other projects. His pricing is very good, I have never felt gouged on anything.

It was a very positive experience. I highly recommend Steve Ocker and will definitely use his services again if needed.

I called and left a voicemail and it has now been two weeks and I am yet to hear back from the company.

I would say overall it was awful. Our tenants are not happy and I truly waited on him based on positive reviews on this site.

Steve Ocker Electric LLC did some electrical work outside. He ran an electrical line from the house to our deck. He also ran some electrics for a water feature that we have in our back yard. I found him the most personable person I have had work on my house ever, to be honest. He was friendly, he was incredibly polite and very reliable. I was really happy with him.
