Description of Work: They painted 3 rooms and it went great. They did what they said they would do and within the time frame estimated. They will doing some other work for in the near future. I highly recommend them!

Description of Work: I feel very confident that we received a thorough cleaning and professional assessment of the condition of our fireplace. | |The business is run by a couple. She came in to explain each point of the process, and he did the work of first climbing up on the roof to inspect the chimney from the outside, and then coming inside to perform the actual cleaning. | |They put down a carpet protector around the fireplace area and took care to clean up the living room area after the cleaning was done. | |My husband and I learned that our 34 year-old chimney had sustained some damage over the years. He showed us how the bricks in the back of the fireplace box had quite a "give" to them when pushed on. | |We have several options to correct the problem, a part of the service I really appreciated. We were counseled that we should not use the fireplace until the problem is corrected, and each option was explained. We have opted to hold off until the summer and have the Bear Service Co. do the repairs. They will prepare a written price quote for us at that time. | |One additional point is that they confirmed that the chimney cover we thought was there was missing. (Our chimney cannot be easily viewed from the street.). We believe the crew that replaced our roof must not have secured it properly. Bear Service Co. worked us into their schedule for a few days from then to come back and replace it for us. There was an additional cost. Very reasonable. | |I would not hesitate to recommend Bear Service Co. We learned they provide other kinds of services around the home and plan to have them back in the future. | |

Description of Work: They were very professional & prompt. Linda called a day in advance to let me know they couldn't be out for their first scheduled appt because of the wind. Showed up on time for the next appt. ended up they couldn't clean my chimney because my roof pitch was to steep & they didn't have a latter long enough. I would probably try them again for any other home repairs I might need done.
