Bear Service Co.

Bear Services helped us make repairs to ready our house for sale. He did exterior painting, interior painting, drywall patching, and plumbing repairs. Jamie and his wife Linda helped us on a tight time schedule and did a great job for us. We were able to sell our house in 3 weeks, thanks to their help getting it ready.

It’s been 8 days at this point and I have not received a response at all from my attempted contact.

Responded on time to our first meeting to get an estimate of work and walked me through everything they planned to do. Worked me into the schedule quickly and kept me in the loop the entire time, even when I couldn't be there. There were never any hidden fees or jobs. They did a great job and I love the end result.

Service was prompt and well done. (including cleaning up!!!!) Their company has more than met our expectations while being very professional. trustworthy, and courteous. Definitely would recommend their services.

They arrived at the house exactly on time and assessed the walls and ceilings and gave me an estimate. They said it would be done in 4 days and it was! Couldn't afford to do the whole house this time, so they painted the living room, dining room, master bedroom and the closets in the master bath, and the kitchen and pantry. They painted all the walls AND ceilings, and some of the ceilings were vaulted and very difficult. They did excellent prep and clean up. Never left a drop and were completely finished on the day and time they promised. I would consider using them again.

The first job they did went so well, we had them back to paint the laundry room. Will definately use again.

I am very comfortable with their painters in my house. He does an excellent job, listens, and does what he says he is going to do. They make sure that their customers are satisfied with the job and checkup with their customers. The cleanup was excellent.

We bought our house 2 years prior and had never used the fireplace because it was no clean. Bear Services did an excellent job of cleaning out the fireplace and chimney and left no mess. He was very courteous and friendly. He pointed out some issues we may have in the future, but didn't push a sales job. Great company, I would definitely use again. Thanks!!

Great! Jamie and Linda were easy to work with and very accommodating -- I had to reschedule twice and they were perfectly willing to be flexible. Jamie did great prep work and painting. My daughters are very happy with their newly painted rooms and I am very happy with the service.

Service person arrived on scheduled date and time. Work was done, but not completed professionally. Service person found a small area inside the chimney (approx three inches) where the cement or material between the bricks needed replacing. Instead of taking of this small problem himself the service person left instructions for me the homeowner to go to a building supply store and buy the needed material to complete the work. I would not use this company in the future.

I was concerned about our family room fireplace chimney because of potential seepage of moisture. I saw a deal on Angie's List from Bear Svc for a chimney inspection and cleaning and signed up for it. I guess the deal must have been very popular because the earliest they could sing me up for an appointment was well over a month. The gentleman that came (sorry, I forgot his name) did an excellent job...was very thorough and professional. He showed me where the problem was (loose grout near the top of the chimney was the potential source of the moisture leak). He recommended a masonry firm that could fix the problem. I also had him and check a second fireplace that we had and also clean out our drier vent. Price I thought was reasonable. Did a thorough job and took his time to make sure everything was done right. Covered the area around where he cleaned the fireplace and did not leave any mess behind which we appreciated. Would wholeheartedly recommend them and definitely use them again!

The work started early morning. They set up their tools and work table and proceeded with the chimney replacement. They worked continually and diligently. Jamie mainly did most of the work. He took down one chimney face at a time and replaced it accordingly. Measuring and double checking his work and even though I had not asked, he even added extra cross braces to reinforce the new boards. He used new materials and allowed me to observe and see the work. I noticed that he worked methodically and carefully, measuring and cutting the boards. What impressed me the best is that Jamie took the time to make sure that he did the work properly and correctly. I have seen other work in the past like roofing, fencing, etc... but he did not try to rush it to complete it before sunset. Instead, finished up the board work and came back the next morning and attached the finishing boards, chaulking, and painting the chimney. He cleaned up and completed the work. I did go up to the roof to look at the work and am very satisfied. I had various estimates done and Bear Service Co. provided me with the best and most reasonable cost for the Chimney replacement. I had no problems at all with Bear Services Co. and would recommend them to anyone who needed their services.

They came out to my condo and quoted to paint whole condo. However they were so backed up with jobs that I could not wait to get the job done. I needed to get the condo ready to rent out. I had hoped to use them to paint 3 rooms at my home but have run out of time and really don't need 3 rooms done at my house at present.

Bear Service Company notified me by email (said they tried to notify me by phone...NOT, no message from them on my phone) telling me they could NOT perform their service in my area (Blanchard, OK). And wrote a note to get a refund from Angie's List. It would have been very nice if the company would have listed their perimeters of where they WOULD perform the work. Thank you.

They worked around my schedule really great. They sent 2 people out to do the job. The cleanup was great.

Scheduling the appointment was fine and there were two people doing the work, a mother and son. They were not real thorough in the appointment. They said they looked at the chimney but they looked at it from the ground.

Jaime and Linda were very in demand with the coupon they offered, scheduled out a few months, but were incredible and kind to fit us in as we had a hard deadline by which everything had to be completed. We had the rooms ready to go with all furniture four feet from the walls (closer to three in the smaller bedroom) and Jaime and his dad were able to complete all three rooms in two days. This included prepping the walls, filling holes and calking one corner where there appeared to be previous (before we bought it) water damage near a window. Jaime explained what he found, gave suggestions for ways to go forward and the rooms look great!

It went extremely well. He was on time, clean, played with the dog, and made my wife feel at ease. When she mentioned that we were having a leak problem he got on the roof and checked the flashing around the chimney at no extra charge.

I thought they were fabulous. They were reliable they were skilled and they cared about what I needed and they provided it. It was affordable and i thought they were fairly priced. There were times when they could not be there when they said they would but they always called. It was a good experience. They came in and helped me get ready my house for sale.

The Big Deal said that there was a travel charge for over 20 miles. There was no physical address listed for the service provider so I checked from the Edmond post office and came up with 19.6 miles to my house. I called and talked to someone in the office and asked them if I would have to pay the travel fee of $30 and was told that I was fine and would not owe additional charges. I scheduled appointment and they canceled 3 times. Once for being sick, once for ice and the third for 10 mile an hour winds hindering them from getting on the roof. I set appointment for 8am today and they showed up between 9:30 ? 9:40. They came today and cleaned the chimney from the inside of the house. I asked if they had liability insurance and a license to get on my roof and if I could see it. He said he does have it but didn?t have it on him for me to check. I would not let them on the roof. When they were done they told me I owed them $30 for the travel charge. When I called back the office staff said it was implied that I would owe the travel charge. She then told me that if I didn?t pay it she would take me to small claims court.

They were personable and professional. The cost was based on the Big Deal I bought.

The people were very professional and got the job done quickly. I feel they gave me good advice and I would use them again in the future.

They were very nice and they didn't make a mess. They also showed me pictures of some of the bricks that need to be attended to. The scheduling was a little weird as I kept getting emails saying that they needed to contact me and they just showed up on the first available day they had. They got the job done in under an hour.

The proprietors were terrific. Although our busy schedules kept us playing phone tag during the scheduling process, they kept at it! We got our schedules organized and they were right on time. They fully explained the process, told us in advance how to be best prepared and then kept us fully updated as the inspection and cleaning took place. They left us with good written materials and answered all our questions. Couldn't ask for more!
