Baxter Electric, Heating & Air Conditioning

In November 2010 Baxter's put in an all new HVAC system in my home. They had the best price and had it all installed in one day. Everything was fine with it until Monday, 26 Mar 12. The temperature is going up and we tried to turn on the AC. The condenser wouldn't come on outside and we couldn't figure out why. On Tuesday, 27 Mar 12 I calld Baxter Heat & Air and they came out the same day. The technician Andy was there promptly when he said he would be. Within 20 minutes he had located the problem, fixed it, verified it was the only problem, cleaned up, and was gone. They covered the service call under warranty. Baxter Heat & Air is prompt, professional, and fast. Same day service is awesome!

The service was very good. They came out, took care of the problem, and were very reasonable. They are responsive. I'm a landlord so I like it when you put a call into someone and they come right out to complete the job.

Baxter's price was nearly 20% less than the proposal I received from the other company, and it was for a more efficient system. We authorized the work. It took a day longer for the equipment to arrive than Baxter had estimated. The installation went smoothly, at least, as far as I know. Equipment works fine, and is much quieter than the 15-year old system it replaced. Looking forward to lower electric bills!

Timely and professional. Maybe could have gotten the work done cheaper, but I am happy with the result.

Had several estimates. This company explained in complete detail what could/would be done and how. All my questions were answered upfront and honestly. This company had the lowest estimate for the same brand from other companies, including my electric company that also sells heat pumps. I highly recommend Baxter Electric Heat & Air.

The job went well. They were professional and competent. They were responsive to my questions. They were pleasant. They were dependable and honest. I'm not sure how to compare their price. I think I would use them again.

I contacted them one day and they came out the next. They were on time. The two young men that came out were very professional. It did not take them much time to install the cooktop. It took them only about 20 minutes to do it. I had it in place; they just had to hook it up. It's a good unit. They did a great job and there was nothing to clean up afterwards. They were very helpful and very good.

We spent less than $100 on that last service. We like that they just come out and do what needs to be done. They were on time and cleaned up after themselves. Their professionalism was also fine.

There is no direct access via an attic/crawl space. When I called Baxter they said it was still doable with some effort. Two men from Baxter showed up. After briefly surveying the immediate area they quickly determined that they were not going to be able to help us. When I told them there was attic access and where there were gaps were it didn't seem to make a difference. I was hoping they would show a little more initiative. Unfortunately it seems that they only like to do the easy jobs. We were able to get our cable drop...just not from them. I'm sure Baxter does a lot of great work, but the 2 individuals they sent to help us just weren't willing to go that extra mile.

It went incredibly well! I selected Baxter based upon their outstanding Angie's List rating. Every employee I spoke with was helpful, professional and courteous, from the time I called to set up the initial appointment until the moment the electricians left my house. They worked around my employment schedule and called me at work thirty minutes before they were going to arrive so that I could go home and meet them. The gentlemen were extremely professional and polite. They got to work quickly and assessed the problem. I did not expect them to be able to diagnose the problem and fix it all in the same visit. After speaking with the previous electricians I thought it was going to require another visit or two. I was so pleasantly surprised when they told me that they had fixed the problem--in less than two hours!! The money that I had budgeted to fix my "big electrical problem" was able to go toward new kitchen flooring. Can't beat that!

Technicial arrived before I could get home. He waited for approx 15 min on me.

Excellent work installing a complex lighting system. Service technician Jonathan was well expirienced in this type of installation. I would definately call Baxter for future electrical needs.

They figured out the problem with the electrical and TV. I was very happy with the result. We have not had any problems since. I am embarrassed to say the bathroom light problem was caused by a tripped breaker in the closet. Didn't realize it was there. My only complaint is they did not try to troubleshoot the problem as to why the breaker was tripping in the first place. In defense of them though, it didn't trip off again when they were there. It started tripping again after they left.

they showed up on time, after telling them what i wanted done, he gave me an estimate of time and cost. he completed the jobs with 5 minutes of his estimate, the estimate was about 20.00 off but that was ok, after they were done they had cleaned up the work aerea so i couldnt tell any work had been done. i had true tech come out a few weeks earlier and there bid was about 3 times higher than the 287.00 baxter electric wanted so over all very good job and every thing works good

Very professional and prompt service

Started with the electrician coming out and providing an estimate in the job of moving the junction box and hooking everything up out of the way of the new window. He delivered an estimate of what he thought would take anywhere from 4 - 6 hours of work depending on access and other unforseen problems. My wife scheduled them to come out the following Friday. The only hitch happened when I needed to arrange my schedule to meet the electricians - I called their office and they had no record of ever coming out. Short version is it was put into the computer wrong and I had to reschedule for a week later. Anyway, they came out right on time. They were as professional as I've ever had come out - and I've had a lot of work done. After a quick evaluation they told me their course of action and got right to work. They actually finished the job in less time than they had figured in the estimate. They showed me all of the work completed and actually walked me through what they had done and why/how. Overall, it was a great job. The electrician also asked about any other needs I might have and gave me an estimate on those jobs as well. I will definately continue to use Baxter Electric.

My kitchen has florescent lighting. The fixtures use two ballasts to run three bulbs. With one figure, only one ballast was working. I let it be for a few years as there was enough light in the room. But when it happened to another fixture, I called Baxter to replace the ballasts on both fixtures. They fit me in the same day. The electricians (two came) removed all the old ballasts and used just one new ballast per fixture. They were quick, efficient, tidy, and courteous. Since they had the ladders out, I also had them change a few bulbs in a fixture on a vaulted ceiling and courteously asked me if I needed anything else. The new ballasts cost about $35 each -- what they would cost at Lowes/Home Depot. Labor was a little under $100. I also had a $15 coupon from their web site to bring the entire cost to about $150. This was the second time I used Baxter. The prior time was to rewire a set of switches after the prior electrician did it wrong. As this time, they were reasonably priced, quick, and courteous. They will continue to be the electrician for all my needs.

they are a little more expensive than other electricians, bhut there work is top notch im thinking of using them for my new heat and air replacement

They came on time and were very polite. Everything seems to be working fine. They did a very good job and my husband was pleased with their work.

Everything turned out really well. They are prompt and they are very professional in their work. They got down to business and they explained to me what they were finding. When anything showed up that could be of concern, they identified it to me and we figured out what to do about it. The charge was what they quoted me: it was a service charge plus the amount for the parts.

They're great. They are extremely quick to come out whenever I need them and they do excellent work. I would highly recommend them.

Jeremy and his helper showed up a bit late and spent 30 minutes figuring out they needed to buy new circuit breakers (no longer manufactured). They both left to buy the breakers. Jeremy dropped the helper, who was ill, off at their office and picked up another assistant. When they returned, Jeremy and Tony both got right to work and completed the job fairly quickly.

The workers were very courteous and professional. They did not leave a mess and replaced a cabinet that was moved so that they could work.
