Description of Work: We contacted Baxter electric on a Thursday and a provider came out to overview the work and said he was sure they could do the job, told us what we could purchase to help do the job, and said he would call the next day. We have called, left messages, called the company and they keep saying they will get back with us. It is a week later and we have not heard back. I would not recommend them based on lack of responsiveness and unprofessionalism.

Description of Work: Reattached line that was pulled out during storm. We called another compnay first and the tried to charge us almost $2500. Baxter fixed the problem for about $600 and did not try to add extra charges.

Description of Work: I called Baxter's on Monday because we had an overhead light that was not working correctly. An electrician came Tuesday afternoon and repaired a electrical short in a light switch.

Description of Work: Fixed loose wiring in elecrical switch. The technicians arrived early, finished quickly and were very friendly.

Description of Work: Everything works and the a/c unit is efficient. The workmanship on the heating unit was fair, but no better. I was given little option as to the units they installed (as far as price and efficiency). Few payment options either. On the plus side the guys were nice and everything works. |

Description of Work: The capacitor went out on our apartment on Friday night. Called Baxter the next morning, he was there that afternoon and repaired the problem quickly.

Description of Work: We have used Baxter for a number of years now for electrical and heat/air services. They have always been on time, professional, helpful and easy to work with. The most recent experience was our annual checkup for our A/C system, which went fine as always. We pay about $200 annually for them to service our A/C and heat systems, money I think has been well-spent.

Description of Work: I had too many outlets on one breaker. When the washing machine and air conditioner came on together, it threw the breaker. One company came out and gave me an esitmate of $986. The electrician wanted me to pay for his license in my town! I called Baxter; they came the next day and did the job for $203. The technicians were knowledgeable, courteous, clean, personable, and did a great job!! There was a small problem, and the company sent out a heating and air conditioning man the next day--late, cause I had another appointment, and he fixed it at no charge!! Woo-hoo, Baxter!! They will have my business from now on!P.S. The poor guys worked on the hottest day of the year, and did not complain!

Description of Work: They installed a light fixture and switch. I thought it was the fixture, but I was wrong. They figured it out in 15 seconds, and had the job done in 10 minutes.

Description of Work: Breaker at main box kept tripping. They came out the first 2 times and of course charged us. Said there was nothing wrong. This was the breaker for the bathroom plugs, they said we were overloading them. We rarely use them especially since the kids moved out. All through their teenage years with blow dryers and curling irons we never had a problem, then recently the breaker kept tripping. This was happening when nothing was plugged in. Called them back out a third time because they didn't do anything the first 2 times. A guy went in the attic, was up there about 3 minutes came down, said we had mice, charged us another $98.00. Unbelievable. I will never use them again.
