Arrow Appliance Repair

I would not call them again and I am appalled at their lack of professionalism, but I should have read more reviews because it seems like others have complained of the same thing. We took off work to meet the repair man. The repair man called 5 minutes before the scheduled time and said he wasnt coming and basically we'd have to buy a new dryer. How did he know that without coming out? The dryer is only 6 years old. When I explained what was said to my spouse, who had taken time off from work to meet the repairman, my spouse tried to call them. After several left messages we still have not had a response. We called another person on Angies List, Don Fuller, Don's Appliances, and gave the exact same information and an appointment was made same day to come out and repair our dryer. No smooth talking about how our dryer is a "cheap brand", it's a GE front loader, or how we shouldnt buy appliances from people who make televisions, say what??? Anyway, check my review out on Don's Appliances, I'll let you know how it goes but steer clear from these jokers. I'd like to send them a bill for our time today, smh.

Shane was great! Showed up on time and was very courteous and professional. He fixed the problem with my fridge really quickly. I will definitely use them again.

Wow. Shane was absolutely awesome. A breath of fresh air from a service company. He quickly diagnosed my problem -- a blown surge protector that my unit was plugged into. He also is checking to see if he can provide a new blower fan for my Thermador down draft vent. No charge. I asked multiple times to pay him for something -- service call, etc. He said no problem... "you'll call back someday for something that I can really fix for you"! Highly recommended.

He arrived on time, was very pleasant, had a replacement with him, put it in, gave us the $10 discount with a good warranty, got the Angie list special price and altogether he was only here about 10 minutes! Great service! We were very happy with the speed, professionalism, and responsiveness. Will use again!

Arrow was very prompt about replying to my phone call. Zach knew what was wrong with my washer just by listening to the problems I was having. Therefore, he was able to give me an exact quote and bring the part with him so I was able to get my washer fixed on only one visit. He was very knowledgeable, prompt and worked very quickly. I will definitely use him again.

He is amazing. We woke up on a Saturday morning and the refrigerator was dead. We called him around 9:30. He said he could be here between 11:00 and 1:00. He came at 11:10. He fixed the wires to the ice maker and the power cord for just $58. We expected double rates since it was a Saturday morning. He said his service charge would have been free if he hadn't done any repairs. We thought that was amazing. He works 7 days a week and is available 24 hours a day. He was very professional. He got right to work and got us taken care of.

We called on Friday morning and they set the appointment for that afternoon. Shane was there 10 minutes before the appointment time, which was great for us. He replaced the icemaker, but that didn't fix the problem. He told us that the "eye" needed to be replaced, but he didn't have any of those on his truck. It would be Saturday afternoon before he could pick it up and get it back to us. He put our old ice maker back in the freezer. Much to our surprise, he called within the hour and had gone to pick up the items he needed. He was out within the hour and replaced the eye. He powered off the refrigerator so it would cycle. The ice maker now works great. Shane was very professional and knowledgeable. We will definitely call Arrow the next time we need any appliance service.

I called around 9 and was given a 3 pm same-day appointment. Zach called at 1 and said he could come early if that worked for me -- it did. He was polite and efficient and charged a very reasonable rate. I will definitely call Arrow for my next appliance repair job.

I called twice and left a message asking for information on how to get my refrigerator repaired. The company's Web site indicates that they offer service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I called during business hours on a weekday morning and on an evening of a weeknight and left messages both times. I never received a call back either time. I won't attempt to get this company's business again.

Had a washer that just stopped. Call in the morning and had someone there by early afternoon. Diagnosed the problem, gave us some options and fixed it with an hour. All very impressive and great to have called.

Our Deep Freeze just stopped working so I called Arrow and they got right out. I had 250 lbs of beef on the way to my house next week so it was imperitive I get it fixed soon. The tech looked it over on Monday and said it could be the relay switch or worse case Freon and It would be best to replace the deep freeze. He was able to get it to start running and had us keep and eye on it to see if it would cool down. He let us know that if it did and all shelves "frosted" then it was the relay switch and would be an easy fix. Luckily it cooled right down and he was able to come out the next day and replace the switch. All is well and $127 should beats the heck out of $1,000 to replace it. Arrow was awesome and I highly recommend them!

Repairman checked our freezer and told us how we could fix the problem ourselves and didn't charge for the visit. Third time we have used Arrow and won't look anywhere else. Love the narrow time window they give and always make it on time. A+.

I called Arrow Appliance Repair because my washer had overflowed in the garage and then was making strange noises and quit working. Jason came out when he said he would (in fact early), and found the motor had seized up. He thought it would be tomorrow before he could get a replacement, but he called and said he would be back in 45 minutes with a new one, which he was. Unfortunately, the new motor was not working correctly and Jason found that it was also the transmission that was bad, and so it would not be cost effective to fix both motor and transmission. I appreciated his pleasant personality and his honesty. He also gave me some recommendations on types of washers that would be best suited for the amount of laundry I do. This is the first time I have used this company but it will not be the last! I recommend them highly.

Thought that our freezer in the garage was leaking water. They came out and checked it out and said all was ok but recommended that we check a drain near the freezer. As it turned out, the drain was clogged and was sending AC condensate out of the drain and under the freezer so it looked like the freezer was leaking. Did not charge anything for the trip or advice. Very nice, professional and would use them first if an appliance needed repair after this experience.

I called at 2:12pm and explained my problem. I was told that a technician could be at my home by 3pm the same day. The technician arrived exactly on time. He was courteous, knowledgeable and quickly assessed the problem. He was able to clear the error code, which I had attempted to do three times on my own. He put the washer back together, slid it back in place and charged me $9.95, telling me to give him a call if I had any further trouble. I will most certainly do just that.

He said it would cost more to repair that to buy a new one. He did not charge me at all for the trip. I appreciate their honestly and good business practice.

Arrow Appliance sent out a repair person the day after we requested help with a dishwasher that seemed to be periodically leaking. We went with Arrow because of their advertised $9.99 service call?we were not sure if anything serious was wrong or not. The appliance repair person arrived as scheduled, and was courteous and kind. He examined the dishwasher, could find nothing wrong, and made no repairs. However, he did take a look at the seal around the door, and wiped it down. The dishwasher did not seem to leak after that, so he assumed that it was just some buildup of dirt, or maybe a particular configuration of dishes that caused the leak. After a grand total of 5-10 minutes in our home, and no repairs performed, he proceeded to charge us $98. When I questioned why it would be $98 instead of the service call, he informed me that the service call charge is only if he walks into the home, looks at the equipment and says "I can't do anything for you." I replied that he did not actually do any repair at all, and he said that it didn't matter, as soon as he touched the dishwasher, the minimum charge went to $98. At no point was this communicated to us until he'd already "touched" the dishwasher. Absolutely abysmal communication, and deliberate deception from the company. Would never use again, and would not hesitate to tell everyone I know to avoid Arrow at all costs.

No callback, no repair, and I'm still left hanging by their lack of service.

.Ended up buying a new dishwasher and the installer had no problem with the cabinet getting the old one out and the new one in.

I called at 8am the day after Christmas. They called me right back, set an appointment of a 1 hour window and showed up when they said they would! Prompt, professional, clean and quick.

The best service call experience I've every had, hands down! My dryer wasn't getting as hot as it used to so I checked into it and of course found out that the first thing you do when that happens is maintenance. Specifically, dryer vent cleaning. Since mine vents out through the roof, I didn't want to attempt this DIY. I quickly logged onto Angie's list and searched dryer vent cleaning. I looked at a few providers before I got to Arrow and then I saw their rating. I was impressed. When I read the reviews, I was even more impressed. That afternoon (Monday 16 Dec 13) I gave them a call. I was told that I could get on the schedule for the next day from between 1-2 pm. Although I had to work, I asked a family member to meet the technician and it worked perfectly. The next day, I recieved a call from Jason at about 1145 am. He said that if I was available, he could be at the house in a few minutes. I worked it out with my family memeber and by the time they arrived, Jason was already on the roof and about half way done with the service. I was told that Jason was very fast, efficient, polite, and professional. On top of that the entire price of the service call was only $98.00. I am so happy that it was handled so quickly and at such a reasonable price. With it so close to Christmas it was such a joy to deal with such a great company. Update: While I stand behind my original review of the original service call, I am none too happy with what happened afterward. This service call took place during a time we were having particularly high winds. After the service call I had noticed an object in the yard and asked my son to go investigate. He determined that it was the dryer vent cap from the roof. He climbed up on the roof to try to reattach it. He was able to reattach, but not securely at all. The next day it had come off and now was nowhere to be found. I called the business number and received a recording telling me that they would be out of the office for several days and they didn't even leave a contact number for emergencies. I left my message and waited to hear back. I heard back while I was on Christmas vacation and unable to get decent reception in order to detail the problem. When I returned from vacation, I immediately called to explain the problem. The owner appoligized and indicated that he might be able to fix it. I told him I understood and just wanted to know if I needed to call someone else in order to get it fixed. He said that ne would let me know. This conversation happened the second week of January 2014. It is now February 18 and it is not fixed and he has not called me back. I have called him several times only to be told he would get out there "that day" to check it out. I understand and respect when someone is unable to fix a problem, but I don't appreciate it when I am put off for almost two months and can't even get a return phone call when all I wanted to do was get it fixed either by him or someone else. I have called another repairman to fix this problem.

Made appointment for following morning. Called ahead, as I had requested, since I don't live in that house. Arrived on time, had the part, and was in and out in 15 minutes, with the oven working. He reset the clock without being asked. I had diagnosed the need to replace the igniter because of all the other things I had already replaced. He had one on the truck, so it went quickly. II will recommend.

Our dryer went out on Friday night. Called Arrow first thing Saturday morning. They were able to fit us in between two other calls Saturday morning and they arrived as expected. The thermostat was out on the dryer and the repairman had the part in his van and had it repaired very quickly. Great service and I really appreciated that they were able to get here so quickly.

They were great. I tried to fix it myself and he came out a little earlier than originally scheduled. He did not even charge me. He gave me some advice on the care of the washer. He was great. He ended up not needing to do anything because I had already fixed it. He would not take a payment from me at all. He seemed to know what he was talking about, honest and cordial. It was a very positive experience. His service charge is great too; he only charges $10 to come out. I would use them again.
