Arrow Appliance Repair

I left a message for Shane Tuesday evening, and he promptly returned my call Wednesday morning before 8:30. Our situation hadn't been an emergency and I told him so in the message, otherwise I am certain he would have returned the call even earlier. He promised to arrive between 4-5 o'clock, but showed up before 4 - hurray! Total trouble-shooting time was approximately 5 minutes. Shane quickly found the problem and had the part on hand to fix it. Throughout the job, Shane communicated what he was checking, how much the cost would be, and estimated time to fix it. First he determined that our frig's fan wasn't running. He explained that either the fan was bad or the control board was bad. He tried replacing the control board and the fan kicked on - voila! Shane then watched to make sure the fan was running properly before finishing up the job. The problem was fixed neatly, efficiently, and professionally within 20 minutes. (Oh yeah, and there is a one-year warranty on the new control board.) What a breath of fresh air to encounter someone who knows their job and does it well.

He saved me a service call and the 360.00 it would have cost to replace the wash motor. He told me I would be better off replacing my dishwasher which was a low end model. I really appreciated his honesty and service. I'll use them again!!

Found nothing wrong with washer or dryer except that washer was too close to a nearby cabinet and dryer hose was partially blocked with lint. Charged half price for the service call because it took so little time and no repairs were needed.

It went great! He came when he said and took care of the problem. Did not charge full price for return visit. We will call him for all our appliance repairs in the future.

Shane confirmed my thought that the sealed system fridge compressor was out of freon and not a reasonable candidate for repair. He waived the cost for the service call because he was already in the area and it only took a few minutes. Thanks!

I would definitely call them again as they worked me into their busy Saturday schedule. After finding the problem with my refrigerator, they gave me an evaluation for the necessary repairs which they could not perform. It appears that the condenser had gone out. They were very prompt and courteous concerning my problem and made several suggestions for the problem. As they were unable to help me, there was a very minimal charge for the service call.

Showed up on time and fixed fridge. Great job!!!!!

They were super quick, friendly and honest. Their recommendation was that we purchase a new machine as the repair was not cost effective.

It went well, he came in, took the front of the stove apart and checked for the problem. Unfortunately, he was unable to take care of it. He was very polite and professional, explained the problem and put everything back together. I would definitely call again for future problems.

Arrived exactly on time, and called ahead as requested so we could put animals up. Very courteous and professional. Knew what was wrong very soon, explained it well, showed us the broken part and explained to my satisfaction what had happened. Also explained that the new part has a 2 yr warrantee. He was tidy, didn't leave a mess, and as a courtesy, looked at another appliance for us and even called another repairman about it though it wasn't his area. We will have the other repairman out to service that other appliance soon. I found it very refreshing to have a professional come in on time, do the work needed and not leave a mess. We have now found our NEW appliance repair folks!!

I called them for an appointment they set it up arrived as stated determined that it would require a complete replacement of the top of the washer (glass door the hinge was broken and it was a molded piece that required complete replacement. They tried to get just the frame was not available. They contacted the warehouse they purchased parts from and they had one in stock. they returned later that afternoon and made the repair. No problems what so ever very well done! I would recommend them to anyone needing appliance repairs

I called Arrow Appliance and asked them to look at a washer that was not turning on. On the morning that the repair man was supposed to show up, he/she didn't. I called and they told me someone could come by that afternoon. That afternoon, the repair man called me and seemed like he wasn't interested in coming by. I told him over the phone what was going on with the washer and he told me that I should just by a new one because it was likely a broken timer and due to the age of the machine not worth replacing. After buying the new washer and having it delivered, it turned out the only thing wrong with the old washer was that the breaker had tripped. i wish this company had been a little more conscientious with its advice. I'm sure the repair man would have discovered the tripped breaker if he had bothered to show and saved me $500.00.

Wonderful service. Problem quickly identified and corrected. So pleased that they were able to work me in the same day that I called. Very reasonable service call.

He was quick to determine the problem. Had to leave to get the part, but was back quickly and had the part replaced and the dryer working in less than an hour.

Our GE electric stove was not properly heating, even though the digital display indicated it was reaching the desired temperature. (For example, when the digital display read 350 degrees, the actual oven temperature was only 200 degrees. In addition, it would take nearly 20 minutes before the oven reached the desired temperature of 350). The tech quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad sensor and also recommended that we replace the motherboard, as it was his experience that replacing the sensor alone would only solve the problem 30% of the time. We opted for the additional cost, trusting his experience and knowing that another service call would just cost additional time and money (and the inconvenience of not having a working oven). The tech replaced both the sensor and the motherboard, and the oven is working great now! I'm pleased we took his advice. In addition, Arrow was able to come at a time (that same week we called) that was most convenient for us. He was punctual, and he knew what he was doing. Oh, and he left us with an oven thermometer that we could keep to check the temperature. Would definitely use Arrow again.

Our washing machine quit spinning on 5/21/13. I called two repair services from angies list. The first one I called did not work on LG appliances. The second was Arrow Appliance Repair. AT first it was he didn't think it would be possible to come out that day but he would try. Aprox 1 Hr later the doorbell rang and He was here . 30 minutes later the washer was repaired and he was out of there. Very professional, knew what the problem was, had the part with him to repair it and the cost was very reasonable. I have never had a more pleasant experience getting an appliance repaired in my 77 years.

The repair tech was in the area and came to my home within an hour of my call. He was very friendly and professional. He told me that my ice maker motor needed to be replaced. He said he would check on pricing and get back to me with the cost. My ice bucket was also stuck and could not be removed. He told me this was a common problem with my model and that they can break easily if forced. He left to check on the motor and returned to my home a few minutes later after consulting with another technician. He said the new motor would not be of much use unless the ice bucket could be removed. The other tech had given him a tip to remove it and it worked. He left again and called me back maybe an hour or two later to tell me he had the motor. He returned and installed it. The time from my first call to writing the check for finished work was about 3 hours. I was pleased and impressed. I was prepared to wait days.

Called him on a Monday Evening, said he would be there on Tuesday between 4-5 and arrived at 4:30. Replaced the compressor relay and was gone within 30 minutes. Great work!

I called Arrow about 3:30 in the afternoon when I discovered the ice maker in my refrigerator was not working. The young man said he was finishing a job in Guthrie but would be at my house as soon as he could. He was here before 5:00. He was an extremely nice young man. He found my problem immediately,fixed it, billed me and was gone almost before I knew it. I was thrilled with the service and will most certainly use them again.

We had a dishwasher about 3 years old that would work great one time, not the next. A disposal grinder inside the dishwasher was replaced by us because it was worn out but the dishwasher still was erratic. We were too busy to continually check what was wrong, so we contacted Arrow. I explained what the problem was and set an appointment. On the day of appointment, we had to go to the ER for an unexpected illness. I contacted Arrow and left a message on their phone and explained that we would be 1-2 hours late for our appointment due to the hospital visit. I received a phone call stating they didn't show we had an appointment. They asked if we still wanted one, I said yes and they said someone would be contacting us. After a bit of time ( sorry, don't remember the exact elapsed time) but it was after we arrived home. The young man asked what the problem was, I explained about the machine being erratic. He said he knew what was wrong with it and that he would stop by the parts store first. He then quoted $325 for the parts and labor. I told him that was too high for us and that we would have to do something else. The young man was nice and said if we changed our minds, call back and he would come out. When we had more time, we tracked down the problem ourselves. It was the electrical plug losing contact and shutting itself on/off. It costs us a lot less than $325. We were not dissatisfied with the company since they didn't come out due to our refusal but feel that over the phone diagnosis is not always the best way to handle a problem. We may use the company for other problems. We'll just have to see how it goes.

Late in the evening I started smelling a burning plastic type smell in the house. After unplugging virtually everything I could think of I finally tracked the source of the smell to the refrigerator motor. I unplugged the fridge, took all my freezer and easily perishable items over to my in-laws fridge, and then cleaned under, over, around and through the fridge. The burning plastic smell was very unpleasant, and I was up most of the night worrying that something would catch fire, even with the darn thing unplugged, or that we'd poison ourselves on the fumes. I found Arrow Appliance Repair on Angie's List. Since they have long hours (7am to 11 pm) I called at 7 and left a message. I got a call back from Shane about 9, and he said he would be on my side of town around noon and when he finished that client he could come to me about 1:30. I had also left a message with another company, but Shane got back to me first so I agreed to have him come. At 10:15 he called back and said he could be at my house by 10:30. First time I've every had a repair company come early instead of late! He showed up at 10:30 and got right to work. Now my refrigerator was older than Shane, but this is a multigeneration family business. Shane got inside the fridge and since he doesn't often work on units as old as mine he called his father, who has worked on older units for years, and double-checked his assessment and repair plan. I was impressed that his concern was in doing the job correctly, not in bluffing his way through it. He had the relay replaced and rewired and everything tested out within safe limits within an hour. He got the fridge back in place and cleaned up after his work neatly. I had a $10 off coupon for Angie's List members so the total was $137. This was a very good repair experience. Shane was more than prompt, professional, and focused on providing competent service. I will not only use this company again, but have already referred them to a friend.

A friendly repairman was scheduled to come by 2 hours after I called. I was so glad I didn't have to wait until the next day to be scheduled! He was on time and professional and had my problem figured out within 10-15 minutes.

Jason showed up on time, was extremely polite, professional, and helpful. He turned on the dryer, cleaned out the vent via the roof, then shortened the hose behind the dryer.
