Jim is great!! Very professional, very informative, and seems to be very honest. In addition to the comprehensive inspection he performed, his experience and education as a Civil Engineer was extremely helpful since the property I'm purchasing has some suspect structural issues. I highly recommend Jim Gendill and Anasazi Home Inspections if you own, or are purchasing property in the OKC area!

They did good job and finished the inspection on time.

Gave a thorough and complete home inspection for my 1 year builder's warranty. While no furniture or carpet was disturbed, each room was analyzed as thoroughly as possible. The entire process took around 3 hours, with 2+ hours taken to actually perform the inspection. Great care was displayed in every respect, from a dedicated pair of clean indoor shoes to putting up with my attention-craved feline around every corner. Jim arrived on time, was very professional and qualified, all while remaining personable and a pleasure to work with. He provided informative suggestions and explanation of his findings, as well as a detailed 'punch-list' that I can hand directly to my builder. He even took the time to review and discuss my personal list of items that I had been keeping since I moved in. Jim and Joyce are an awesome team that I would highly recommend to anyone in need of home inspection related services. Great quality at a great price!

They arrived promptly and ready to work. They are a husband and wife team, and work together extremely well. She takes detailed notes as he does the inspection of each area, and is right at hand to hold a light or tool to assist him, or to switch the zones from the controls in the garage while he examines the sprinkler system in the yard. They use radio phones to communicate remotely, so that he can verbally describe what he is actually observing in an area, like the attic, while she records his feedback real-time. They were both personable and knowledgeable, willing to explain their findings, give suggestions for correction of minor issues or recommendations for ongoing care or maintenance of items. They are well equipped and prepared and presented us with a computer generated final report right on site. The explanations in the final report of repair items were clear and straightforward. Their discussion of the findings was presented in an "opinion-neutral" manner, but they did highlight areas that might warrant further investigation. Jim is highly credentialed and knowledgeable, but does not hesitate to tell you the limits of his expertise in any particular area. Days after the inspection, they readily answered questions when I called, and even made a recommendation for an expert to do a further investigation for us. Overall, we felt the service was first quality. We needed solid, factual data to aid us in making a major purchase decision, and I feel we got exactly what we needed. For the caliber of service rendered, the price was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Jim and Joyce Gendill and Anasazi Home Inspections to any prospective home buyer, and I will definitely use them if I need this service again in the future.

They were really good and they spent several hours here. There were just a few things in their report that didn't match up, I contacted him and he made changes to the report. The price was right on target and I was really pleased.

They were very friendly and they did a good job explaining any foundation problems that I had. They offered several references to help repair my home. I would recommend to others.

They arrived on time, got started promptly and were very friendly. Jim did a thorough inspection of the entire house. They were professional and very detail oriented, finding even the smallest detail that wasn't quite right. We were very concerned about the foundation of the house, and since Jim is an engineer, were very reassured with his findings. At the end of the inspection, a complete report was generated and Jim went over every finding in the report and answered all of our questions completely. I couldn't imagine a better or more pleasant experience with a home inspection. If you want a quality inspection, not just a "quickie" from someone who may not have any real qualifications, then use Anasazi!

The inspector and his wife were both very knowledgeable. He inspected, while she took notes. I basically listened, asked a few questions, and observed where all was checked out. It went very smoothly, they were a few minutes early, at 9 am, and I think the inspection took about 3 + hours, top to bottom. He was unable to get to the roof, his ladder was too short, but was able to visually inspect from the attic. I learned a lot about historic homes in general, and this home in particular. On my request, they gave me names of handymen and workers they would recommend. I received a full print out of his findings and recommendations and cost estimates on that day. They brought their own computer and printer to the site.

We were very pleased! Response to our initial call was quick; inspector was very professional; the verbal report was clear, and the written report came within the next couple of days.

This is the longest home inspection I have ever witnessed. I think they were there approximately 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Obviously, they are extremely thorough. However, I view this not as a detriment, but as a positive--the fact that he is also an engineer instilled confidence in his findings as well. His findings were very specific and it certainly gave me peace of mind to know exactly what needed to be done/fixed prior to moving into this great old house.
