Fantastic service by Josh H - he came when he said he would, then went through all of the details to find out the source of the problem. When we suggested it might be something different, he listened to our thoughts while discovering the actual problem, but he was very nice when correcting us. Then he crawled through our dusty attic to eliminate the problem, and followed up with preventative measures so that the problem wouldn't return. It was so nice to have this done just before Christmas - thanks a million, Josh!

Excellent service. Conner the technician called 30 minutes before arriving. He was very polite and professional.

It went well. The technician, Rick, was very professional. I have talked to him before. He is courteous and explains things very well. I have never had any problems with A+ Pest Control.

Almost all the services have been taken care of very well, we had a technician in the recent past who was terrible. We just complained about that service and asked for 1 who had been here multiple times and not to have the man again who was not doing a good job. They were very nice about it and our service is back as it was and should be. No bugs in the house, no mice in the traps, no fleas on the dogs this past Summer. Very satisfied with this service.

They are real bad. They are supposed to be doing pest control outside and inside. They don't call me. Once when they came I was home. Then I thought that once they finished outside they were going to come in and then they were gone. The next time they did not call me ahead of time and I was not home. My husband did not know what was going on and they were just doing outside. I was going to call them and complain. They are really bad. They are not calling me ahead of time, they come and just do the outside and then go. They will come in September one more time. Before they came I am going to call them. They have to let me know and then they have to come in and do inside and outside. I will never use them again. I bought their service for one year. I even did not see them inside.

I don't know how they do b/c we never go to do the job. I had a scheduled appointment at noon for Saturday. It had been setup for about a week. As we got closer to the date, apparently they called me wanting to reschedule for an earlier time but I wasn't available then. However, that did not stop them from switching my time anyway without a courtesy call and expected to be there. After they showed up unexpectedly, instead of calling me, they leave a note on my door stating "Sorry we missed you". You would not have missed me if you all honored the original time. The point is, it could have been rescheduled but its principle and courtesy that matters. I was needing the house sprayed prior to me moving all my stuff in which didn't happen. Long story short, I personally would not recommend based off my own experience. I will be trying someone else very soon! Darrin

They did a good job. They were usually very responsive when you called them to come back. They just tell you what day they are going to be there and they do come.

We found termites in our home which freaked us out so we found a company to help right away. A+ Pest control had great reviews on Angie's list so we scheduled an inspection. The day of our appointment arrived and I had not heard from the company confirming the appointment. I was having to leave work early to make it home in time so I decided to call to confirm just in case there was a problem, and if so I could stay at the hospital and finish my work instead of going home for nothing. No one answered when I called so a message was left. The time came for me to leave but I had still not heard back. I headed home and finally heard from the company 15 mins before the appointment telling me that they meant to call to cancel but unfortunately I was not called for some reason. An attempt was not made to work with my busy schedule to fit me in sooner than a month. For this reason, I will not use A+ Pest control for our needs. They may do a great job, but we wouldn't know. What we do know is that our experience with their customer service was very disappointing.

Couldn't have taken 15 minutes. Super nice and helpful guy. We will see how it holds up. It was a pleasure dealing with this company.

We purchased a quarterly contract - the tech came out and thoroughly explained the process and every step along the way. He was more than professional and courteous - we were very impressed with the service! This is a very professional company - they are fair, on time and pleasant as well! Highly recommended.

They are super nice and super good people. So far this is the first time I have used them since last year and they do good service. The people that came out were very helpful and very pleasant.

We were using the quarterly contract for this company and had also added termite service at an additional cost. Everything went well the first year or so and then we arranged for them to come out to treat for mice. They treated once, but it didn't solve the issue, so we called to schedule them out for a second treatment. My husband arranged to be home from work so they would have access to all areas but they never showed up and they didn't call to say why or to reschedule. A couple weeks later I arranged the same appointment and again, no show and no call. Three days later they called to ask about the service and I told them that for the second time no one came. After checking they let me know that the employee scheduled that day went home early because he was sick. I asked why no one bothered to let me know or to reschedule. She couldn't answer that but asked to reschedule for the following week. I explained that we had already arranged to be off work twice and couldn't take the time to do that again. She suggested they come on Saturday. I agreed as long as they could give me an exact time as we had other things happening that weekend. I also made it very clear that if they did not show up for a third time I would no longer be a customer. She set a time for 11:00 am. We waited to 2:00pm and for the third time they did not arrive or call. A month later we got a bill to renew our contract. Obviously, that went into the trash. I'm now looking for a new company that will meet their commitments. Although I have been a member of Angie's list for a couple years, this is the first time I have written a review. I recognize that this company has a lot of good reviews and even my own experiences were good prior to last fall, but my time is valuable and their inability to meet their commitment was a serious problem for me.

It's easy and the results are good. It's also reasonably priced. We haven't had any pest problems at all since we started using them.

Courteous, friendly, and effective

The service was great! Very professional. I am always nervous when pest control people come and I feel like I have to clean the whole house. The service professional put me at ease and was very nice. He even let me know there was money on the floor in the spare room. Great job!

I was having a continuing problem with small ants entering the house. I was continuously finding small ants in the house and finding lines of ants entering the house through cracks in the brick and along windows and doors. Pesticides purchased from home improvement and hardware stores were not solving the problem. I asked A+ to spray only the exterior brick and foundation and interior windows, doors and baseboards. I did not want the yard, shrubs and etc. treated as I grow flowers to attract butterflies, hummingbirds and honey bees. A+ treated the house as I requested and I have not seen an ant in the house or lines of ants entering the exterior after the treatment.

They are professional and they contact me regularly.

The company did contact me due to the review and sent out another technician to my home to fix the problem. The second technician was very professional and friendly as well.

Prompt, professional. Received a call from the company a couple of days later to make sure everything was okay. Received future date reminder magnet in the mail.

The serviceman showed up when scheduled, performed the initial service and was very helpful. When he left, he told me the office would contact me to set up the schedule for future treatments. No one ever called nor did I receive any mailings. On August 12, I figured the next treatment was due so I called the office to find out when I could expect service. The man whom I spoke with told me that someone would be to my house on Thursday, August 21, and that future treatments would all occur on the third Thursday of every other month. Two days later I received a refrigerator magnet in the mail confirming that information. August 21 came and went and the serviceman from A+ never came, and no one called. I called the office and left a message to inquire when I could expect service. No one returned my call. As of today, August 28, my home has not been treated and no one has contacted me. Overall I was pleased with initial service, but since then A+ Pest Control has been very disappointing. I'm writing this review in the hope that someone from the company will read it and respond UPDATE (9/29/14): The day after I posted this review the service man came and treated my house. A week or two later, the manager called me and apologized for the confusion. He told me it would not happen again and told me he'd discount my next service. As I said in the original review, I have been pleased with A+ Pest Control's service overall. The lack of communication was the only issue. The company's quick response and apology has more than made up for this issue. UPDATE (10/21/14): The same issue has happened again. On Friday (10/10/14), I received a call from A+ reminding me that my service date was going to be performed the following Thursday (10/16/14). My wife and/or I was at home all day on Thursday and the service tech did not come. A+ has not called to tell me why my service was delayed, or when I can expect them to be here. The fact that this has now happened twice in row is frustrating and unacceptable.

They have different rates based on if you are on a quarterly spray or a one time. The rate is higher than you would think, but one time I bought their service, and that's when the bugs started showing up, so apparently it works. They are reliable. I haven't done any price comparison. They come out when they say they are going to.
