Jesse advised us on a major potential problem. There was a double-sided fire place that was not constructed to allow the proper draw. This would lead to big problems in the future, when using the fireplace. Thank you Jesse.

We had accumulated soot in our den where our gas burning fireplace is located. Sooner came out and determined our damper was not opening properly and hence our chimney was not well vented. He ordered a cover to insert in the chimney. It came in less than a week later. Sooner came and opened the damper all the way, then inserted the cap, and the opening/closing mechanism and showed us how to work it. He was very professional and prompt. He did not charge separately for the first service call.

He did not perform work that did not need to be done. (could have said we needed to clean the fireplace when it had hardly ever been used) He provided realistic install dates for grate and blower. When the item was backordered from the manufacturer, Jesse provided ample notice of the delay and need to reschedule. Excellent communication and very honest. Would use again and are referring our neighbor.

I got Jesse Jamison's name from Angie's List and called him. He only works evenings at this job, but came over as soon as he could. He did an inspection of the roof and the inside of the chimney. We discovered that the gas log was not functioning and he ordered a new one for me. However, even before he began to install it, he found that there were some problems with the gas line and he insisted that that be checked out before he proceeded. Even then, there was a considerable amount of work that needed to be done with the tile on the hearth floor. One night he worked from 7:00 until after 9:00. When the new gas log was installed, there were problems with it and he had to come back to work those out. He did not charge extra for this additional work although I offered to pay him. I found him very easy to work with and would hire him again. The total price cited above was almost completely for the new gas log and damper.

Everything went perfectly with Jesse. I contacted him using his email link on angieslist.com and he answered the next morning with an invitation to call him. When I called, we discussed the work and he took plenty time to review all my requests as well as determine what sort of fireplace I had so that he could come prepared. On Dec 16th, he was due out at 7:00 pm but called about 7:10 to let me know he was running behind.... that's a real plus and sign of being responsible. He arrived at 7:30 and got right to work. He explained everything he was doing as well as review fireplace/gas log safety with me. He covered everything in his work area so that no mess would be made. By 8:00 pm, he was on his way and we're totally happy. I would recommend him to anyone. He's very responsive, mature, professional, and competent at what he does. I cannot believe that he offered to come out during the evening but he said that it's the busiest time of year. Our money was very well spent.

Jesse was booked on the day we needed, however he worked us into his schedule and came out after 5pm on a Friday. He was very knowledgable and gave us great tips for taking care of our fireplace. We will definately use him again.

They were very good. They did what they said they would do and they gave me a reasonable price.

We had a roof leak near the chimney. The roof was replaced (due to hail damage) but still leaked. The roofers said it appeared the chimney was leaking. Jesse came out and said the brick chimney was cracked and needed the crown sealed, cracks in the mortar repaired and the exterior of the chimney sealed. We agreed to have him do the work and it was completed within less than two weeks.

Jesse is one of the nicest individuals I have ever worked with, period. He is straightforward, honest, and very knowledgeable. A hard worker that actually takes the time to answer your questions and even go the extra mile for you. When several other companies put me on the back burner, Jesse put me on his schedule right away and even offered to show up EARLY! I don't think you will find a better chimney cleaner, repairer, inspector, or air duct cleaner out there... especially for the price!
