Ryan Lawn and Tree

They were good. They came out and did what they were supposed to do. They got the weeds under control. It is pretty green and looks nice now. Their price was average.

Was supposed to have been given an evaluation of my tree, but have never been notified since.

Ryan is the most professional and responsive company that I have worked with. They work around my schedule, arrive promptly and perform the work promised. Other companies should adopt their customer service model.

They came out the next day to give an estimate.

Always a conscious shopper, 'got a few bids for a maintenance contract (fertilizer, weed & pest control). Two were a few bucks cheaper; don't be swayed! After reading the reviews for Ryan Lawn and Tree with Angie's List, I contacted them for a bid. Was not only their professionalism in their trade and care for my specific needs, but void of let's make a deal sales pitch, that won me over. Could not have made a better choice! Waited three treatments before writing this review, to ensure they've lived up to my husband's and my expectations --which have been exceeded. This isn't just about aesthetics; our poor lawn has also eroded in recent years. Our company representative is Ryan English. Has, without fail, provided excellence in customer service. I've not been the easiest client, as I'm on a huge learning curve! But Ryan always returns my calls, is patient to teach. The product itself: For first time in years, I have a clean, green lawn! True, it will take more time to build the turf with aerating and over seeding this fall but I wish I'd taken before & after pictures for others to see the near miracle. Other pluses: The company does offer cost savings options for prepay and combined services and frequently publishes a colorful, informative newsletter for their customers. One regret: didn't make this investment sooner.

We will be a customer for life - this company (unless of emergency) sends the same technician out each time so they get to know your system. Our technician, Jose, is prompt, knowledgeable, efficient. Thank you, Reid Irrigation and Angie's List!

They were professional and very competitive in pricing. The lawn looked better than it ever had when they were done.

They are a great company also. Their professionalism, punctuality, and everything about them is good. The only thing I would say different about them is they are a little high priced.

Jose arrived on time. Checked the system to figure why some stations were not working and one would not go off. He said I needed to replace the control board, zone 2 diaphragm & one solenoid on zone 2. The estimate to do this was 279.08 to replace my hunter control board and 118.29 to replace zone 2 diaphragm & solenoid. I thought that was somewhat steep and I will do the work myself with the complete system being done for $100.00. I will also do an upgrade on the control panel for this cost. They would do it for a total of 397.37 for the repairs & the added 55.00 service charge. I really think that is high compared to what the cost and time it takes to do this. Mind you, I am doing this for $100.00 which includes the upgraded control panel.

They are great. We've had other estimates for less work while getting prices that were much higher. They did all of this work in a single very rainy day and did a beautiful job. I can't recommend them highly enough to anyone that needs a serious amount of work done.

Well, I'm sorry to say that Reid never actually came out to my place in Bixby because they wanted money just to make the visit. I am in the market for a small addition to my current sprinkler system. I looked on Angie's List and discovered that Reid is the highest rated service in the area, so I called them. The lady who answered the phone was very nice but made sure that I understood that they would need to be paid $55 just to come out. Now, to be fair, she did say that the fee was ro inspect my current system. The problem, of course, is that I don't need my current system inspected. So, in essence, they charge $55 just to come out and give me an estimate. Not even Sears does that! I'll go on to the mnext highest-rated service and I'll let you know what happens.

We have been using Ryan Lawn and Tree for about two years now. Last year they killed our entire lawn and reseeded because it was so overrun with wild violets (75%+) that it was better to just start over. Now our lawn looks fantastic! One of my neighbors keeps telling us we have the best lawn in Prairie Village! The grass is so green and lush it looks like carpet. Ryan comes out every couple months to treat the lawn and fertilize and what a difference it makes! We also use them for tree service. The price is good and they have arborists who can give you honest opinion about the wellfare of your trees. They occasionally trim the dead branches of our trees and took out a few small bad trees last year. Just got a quote to take out some dead branches on our weeping cherry and pear tree. The quote was $165 but he told us that honestly the pear tree was in decline and we should think about removing it. He gave us an optional quote for that.

So far so good. I went ahead and paid for the whole years worth of summer to save 10%. Service professional was out the next day to fertilize the yard. Awesome service and my yard has never looked better!

They are pretty good and I'm okay with them. They are extremely professional.

The technician was right on time, very friendly and completed the job in less than an hour. This is the second time I have used them and I have been very pleased both times.

Went on companies website after reading the great reviews here and filled out the online estimate request. They claim someone will call back within 1 day. I even received an email confirmation that they received my request. Well it's now over two weeks later and still no response. I have since hired someone else who did return my call.

Mr. Lupe Miranda showed up on time and was extremely professional and honest in his assessment. He fixed the problem immediately. We have used Reid Irrigation for three years and recommend highly. Quality work and quality people.

We didn't use Ryan because they were so honest that they told me the spots would green up on own. I was fully prepared for them to tell me it was grubs or a fungus and their honesty was very much appreciated.

The technician arrived on time and proceded to check the entire sytem. He determined that a faulty solenoid the was the cause of the problem on zone 3. He provided an estimate for repair and then completed the solenoid replacement in about 40 minutes. He then cycled the entire system and adjusted all sprinkler heads. He was knowledgable and courteous.

They do a wonderful job. Their prices are reasonable. The quality of the work is excellent and everything.

they never responded to my email

The estimator showed up as scheduled and gave us the lowest quote out of 3 Angie's list "A" providers. The work was scheduled and completed within the estimated timeframe. All machinery was on tracks and/or plates so as not to damage the yard. Three very well trained men took it down and it was completely gone in a matter of hours. I felt very comfortable with the care they took for the protection of persons and property. The tree was near our property line, and all work was completely done on our property. The invoice left on the door matched the estimator's quote to the penny. Very impressed with this company & would use them again!

We just moved into a new home and our sprinkling system had shut down and stopped working shortly after some plumbing was fixed. We assumed that one of the lines had been cut. We contacted Reid based on the reviews on Angies. They came out and were able to determine quickly that there was a separate power source for our well pump and that power source had been tripped. Basically it was operator error....lol! The service guy was great, got it up and running and proceeded to check our different stations and sprinkler heads. He noted some sprinkler heads that needed replacement. The service call was reasonably priced however, the sprinkler replacement seemed high. We opted not to have them replace the sprinkler heads and do it ourselves since we'd done it in the past. We would use them again.

They didn't do they work because they were tooo expensive .... for $3700, we need to get other bids. However, we'll get charged for other bids too. Not happy with this change in this particular industry. Paying for estimates. Uh, guess my sprinklers won't get fixed.

They're always prompt. I don't have to call and get after them to come. They come and they take care of the grass feeding, the fertilizing. All the grass care. They even spray for weeds and stuff. They do all the check-ups on the lawn, the brown spots, if there are any. Another company had a product, a chemical for the weeds and made a mistake, ending up killing some bushes. It killed one or two of ours. Ryan talked to the other company and the other company pulled it. Then they came out and they talked to us and we filled out a little form. So the other company end up basically giving us $200.00. They're always very friendly and always very helpful about any questions we have. They always leave us a note, a thing of instructions and stuff on how to take care of the lawn, as far as the watering and when to water and when not to and all this other stuff. I can't complain.
