Larry was very professional. We told him about the problem and he worked diligently to remedy the problem. He also gave us suggestions to prevent the floor drain from backing up onto our wood floors. He gave us suggestions for our garbage disposal too.

Jaimie arrived well within the timeframe arranged and took care of the smaller items first while providing clear and thorough explanations of what he was doing and what yet needed to happen for the desired outcome to occur. He returned the following day to complete the arranged repairs, cleaned up after his work in both instances and left me with working plumbing in the interim. I was delighted with his professionalism, his consideration, and the extent of information that he provided, right down to letting me know that the house had been re-plumbed by Mullen entirely, thus relieving me of a concern that further, much more expensive work might still be needed to correct the shower problem that I had been experiencing.

I have not used these people but my sister in law has and don't get me wrong they said they did a good job ! My issue is they only paid $200 about a year ago and I called to get mine done and they want to charge me $235 and that's just to clean the waist out and leave the water in if I wanted it all done they would charge me $335 !!! I am just upset at the fact you raised your prices really high over a year time frame !~ I wont be using your service

The bathroom floor was tiled and also part of the wall. The toilet was replaced and a security bar installed. The tile man did an excellent job.

I had several techs come out at various times for one job. I didn't have a cleanout so the first guy punched a hole in my line just outside my bathroom. This was without asking me if it was okay to do so since they could not simply patch the hole, they would have to install a full cleanout, which was an additional $250. I had to call them about three or four times to have them finally come out to finish the job. They finally sent someone out after I told them the only reason I called them was their good reviews on angieslist.com.

They were great. They had it all done in two days. They did a good job and cleaned up their mess. They weren't the cheapest but they weren't the most expensive. The people were nice.

Great response. A little pricey but they got the job done.

Johnny from Mullen was punctual and so professional. He knew the regulations for plumbing and gas lines, etc. and did so much extra work to make sure I would pass the inspection and be safe in my home. I have used Mullen several times and highly recommend them!!

When I asked him if that was a finished product he said yes, just put some mud in the holes. I called his boss, emailed pictures of the work and requested that the problem be rectified. When they sent the same plumber and he finally completed the installation, he had the nerve to ask for more money. never again.

Fixed outside backflow again.

Everything is working well now though and I would suggest this provider because overall they did a good job (other than the one issue).

I had drain pipes under the kitchen sink that had rotted through. I tried fixing it myself but could not get the pipes to stop leaking. I called Mullin and they came out later that day to fix the problem. When they arrived the drain was leaking from 2 or 3 different places. They cut off a pipe that was giving me the most problems and reassembled to drain so that it was no longer leaking. It only took them about 15 minutes. However, 1 week later the drain was leaking again. I called them back out and it was leaking from one of the same spots it had leaked previoulsy. The had reassembled the drain with one of the old pipes and it was now leaking. They informed me that since the problem was not with the pipe they cut off that they would have to charge me for another service call to fix the problem. My response was "the pipe was bad last week when you fixed the leak, why would that not be covered now?" The response was that was what the office told him he would have to do. Since this was a very simple fix elected to do it myself. The guy that showed up was very helpful and told me exactly what I needed and how to fix it. However, I feel that Mullin should have fixed the problem without charge as the work they had done onlt lasted a week. To be clear, the two gentlemen who did the actual work were both very professional and helpful. My compliant has to do with the company not warrantying their repair.

Went great - we were anticipated a much more difficult situtation - as we had never had a plumber out and had lived here 40 years.

I had three plumbers look at the leak in my shower. The first one quoted $250 to replace the fixtures, if I provided the fixtures. I thought that was high, and called Mullin who quoted $97 an hour. I figured it couldn't take more than two hours, so I had a Mullin plumber come. I told him exactly what I needed, and he told me the fixtures I had purchased wouldn't work, and told me what to get instead. That plumber left without charging anything, so purchased the fixtures he recommended before the second Mullin plumber came two days later. About 1 1/2 hours into it, he told me he was "almost done." Four hours after that, he told me he WAS done, but when I looked at his work I found I could pull the fixtures out of the wall - they weren't secured, and an inch of the pipe from one of the faucets was visible, poking out. Also, the button wasn't glued into the shower handles to cover the screws that held them in, and the piece that goes between the wall and the handle wasn't installed. I just had these loose handles sticking out of the wall. So I told him don't worry about the piece that goes between the faucet and the wall - let's just tighten the fixtures and get this over with. He then proceeded to work on the piece that goes between the faucet and the wall at $97 an hour at 8pm on a Friday night after I had told him to please just finish it up. I asked him why it had taken him five hours, and he told me it was a "nightmare." He told me I should have had a plumber look at the fixtures and recommend the appropriate hardware. I told him I HAD - that a Mullin plumber had written down what to purchase, and showed him the piece of paper. He told he he didn't understand why he would have recommended what he did because 'it isn't even legal." I asked him if it always took five hours to fix a shower, and he said no. I asked, "Are you new?" and he said no. I was very unhappy to pay him, obviously. He didn't even make an effort to clean out the mess in the tub, or discard the box the fixtures came in, before he left with his $507.00. Furthermore, the cold water faucet broke immediately after he left, when I went back in there and tried it. It just goes round and round, and the water doesn't turn on. Wow, Mullin. Just wow. $507 for service like that. I won't be using you again, ever.

They are very competent and very professional.

I had purchased two basins, and Charley gave me very solid advice on which would serve us better. (Of course, I returned the one I didn't use.) He gave me common-sense advice (not an expensive repair) about the tub drain.

For the brand of in line water heater that we had Mullin Plumbing was one of only 2 plumbing services in this area who could reportedly work on this brand. Despite this the first plumber they sent out was not familiar with this brand, but spent about 2hrs "working" to solve the problem. Once he decided that he did not know what was wrong he called in another plumber. He remained on the clock while waiting for the other plumber to arrive. Once the other plumber arrived they were then both on the clock although only one was needed for the job. They could not repair or replace a defective part so we had to replace the unit. Again when they returned they sent two plumbers instead of one. They were the same two plumbers. The only time the second plumber was needed was when the unit was lifted into place. Once it was secured the second plumber was no longer necessary. He should have left and we should not have been charged for his service. They subsequently charged me close to $2500, which I thought was excessive but I paid it anyway. A couple of days later our usual plumber, who is an independent contractor, was doing some work for us at a rental property. I asked him what he thought about the situation with Mullin Plumbing, and he said that the appropriate and honest thing would have been for Mullin Plumbing to have only used a plumber who knew the unit and to have charged for the services of the second plumber for only the amount of time which he was really necessary, which was probably only 15 minutes since the unit was small and not particularly heavy. I subsequently put a hold on payment of the check which I had written and called Mullin Plumbing. I was able to speak to the owner, who is now Congressman Mullin, and I explained the situation to him and told him that I thought the charges were excessive. He of course did not, but offered to reduce the price by $500. No apology was offered. No admission of wrongdoing or inappropriate charges was forthcoming. I found his subsequent television commercials for his business and congressional race to be hypocritical. Use this company only if you cannot find other services and don't mind being overcharged.

They are horrible and cost about $1,500 more than they should of for a hot water heater that had burst. The father who owned it passed away and the son who took over has done cruddy and overpriced work. They also went to my mother-in-law's house to fix some pipes and they broke her toilet and some tile. It was just a nightmare. They are punctual, but horrible. They did not pay to repair my mother-in-law's stuff. She had to go herself to get a new toilet, although they did install the new toilet. I don't want anybody else to go through what we went through.

Theyre estimate was $1200. over priced

I have been very satisfied with them. They have a friendly staff. I don’t have any complains.

I was charged way to much for the amount of time they were there and the job that was done.

Great work under difficult circumstantes

We had a very bad leak on the outside faucet & understood it may have to have a wall torn out (brick) to fix. They fixed it pronto without doing any tearing out. And did a beautiful fast job of it. Yes, I would use them for certain.

Took over from another plumbing company and completed the installation of two sewer lines from the house to the city main.

THE PLUMBING WORK WENT OK. THE ISSUE I HAVE IS THE OFFICE DID NOT INSTRUCT THE PLUMBER NOT TO LEAVE PAPERWORK WITH THE TENANT SO HE LEFT THE BILL THERE. I CALLED THE OFFICE TO SPEAK WITH MELISSA AND I ASKED WHICH MELISSA, WHICH I WASNT TOLD ON THE ORIGINAL CALL THIER WERE 2 MELISSA'S. ONCE I BEGIN TO TELL THE SITUATION THEY SAID THEY KNEW WHICH MELISSA. I STILL DONT KNOW WHICH MELISSA. ANYWAY , MELISSA SAID HOW CAN I HELP YOU AND I EXPLAINED I DIDNT HEAR FROM THE PLUMBER SO I CALLED TO CHECK TO SEE HOW THINGS WERE GOING AND HE SAID HE HAD ALREADY FIXED THE ISSUE AND LEFT AND HE THOUGHT IT WAS MY DAD AT THE RESIDENCE AND HE LEFT THE BILL WITH THE MAN THERE. I EXPLAINED IT WAS A RENTAL PROPERTY OF MINE AND NO PAPER WORK WAS TO BE LEFT AND HE SAID ALL IT STATED WAS NOT TO RUN THE CARD. WHICH I NEVER SAID NOT TO RUN A CARD. I WAS JUST TOLD A CC NEEDS TO BE LEFT ON FILE SINCE I WOULD NOT BE AT THE RESIDENCE AT THE TIME OF SERVICE. HE APOLOGIZED THAT HE DIDNT KNOW TO NOT LEAVE PAPER WORK. SO, AFTER LISTENING MELISSA WAS VERY ARGUEMENTATIVE WITH ME AND SAID YOU MAY HAVE CALLED BACK AND SPOKEN WITH SOMEONE ELSE AND TOLD THEM BUT IT WAS NOT STATED AND I SAID WHO WANTS A RECIEPT LEFT WITH THE TENANT AND SHE SAID SOME PEOPLE DONT MIND. SHE SAID SHE WOULD HAVE THE SUPERVISOR REVIEW CALL AND CALL ME BACK. MELISSA THEN ASKED, DO I WANT RECIEPT MAILED AND I SAID NO FAXED AND GAVE HER THE FAX NUMBER. THIS WAS NOT PROFESSIONAL BECAUSE YOU SHOULD NOT BE ARGUMENTATIVE WITH A CUSTOMER. SHE NEVER ONCE APOLOGIZED.I WILL NOT BE USING THIER SERVICE AGAIN.
