Please don’t use mullin plumbing. They are I believe and confirmed by others completely commissioned based. They may also take advantage of the elderly. Go ahead and read all the terrible recent reviews of their horrible services Attached is the only photo they provided after charging an elderly woman $8,500 and leaving her with an open loop system for weeks. The open loop caused extensive damage due to their incompetence.
Description of Work: Asked them to fix a leak that was discovered outside. They decided to fix another leak leaving the other wide open in not a closed system. This ran for weeks causing damage. They’ve called me an idiot and hung up on me. They use bullying tactics and take advantage of the elderly. They left a bill of 8500 and I still have a leak. Stay far away

On 12/23/12, Mullin’s Plumbing offered us an HVAC Platinum Service Plan ($969/year). Their advertising promised specific services in Year 1 and an additional inducement in Year 2 of our program participation (free air duct cleaning). When we responded, Mullin required we establish eligibility by purchasing over $1500 in HVAC components to “upgrade” our fully-functioning equipment. We complied in expectation that this would allow us to continue the Plan for the foreseeable future. On 7/21/22, Mullin cancelled the Plan, making it impossible for us to access the promised benefits of Year 2 enrollment. They offered to compensate us for termination but with an offer far short of original. We phoned Mullin's on 8/1/22 and got nothing but run-around from a Customer Service rep Brooke, who declared that she could "neither confirm nor deny" information about our account, didn’t have authority to address our concerns, and "didn't have time" to deal with them. She insisted that she had no superior to which we could speak. Adding insult, the service Mullin did supply in Year 1 of the Plan also fell short. While the Plan guaranteed free filters, the tech didn’t have our size, so we had to supplying them, at additional cost to us of $250. Overall: very shady business practices. We are retired senior citizens and Mullin’s preyed upon us to extract a large sum to upgrade equipment that they acknowledged was not broken, only to back out of their half of the contract in short order. The services they did provide were deficient. Minimal fulfillment of Mullin’s contractual responsibility to the advertised plan would be: (1) permit us to continue paid participation in the plan at agreed-on annual rate ($969) for at least a second year, most especially permitting us to receive free air duct cleaning (2) provide filters to replace those not supplied in Year 1
Description of Work: We purchased the HVAC Platinum Service Plan.

Apologies in advance for the long post, but I want to give an honest review. Mullin, Inc came highly recommended and being new to the area, I was hoping for a good experience. They responded quickly when I called for an estimate. I needed a drain and water lines relocated. The tech gave a time and materials estimate. He quoted $128/hr for the plumber and $68/hr for a helper, should one be needed. I agreed to this. I initially told him that I was thinking about removing the concrete. Considering the cost of renting equipment and the time for the work, I decided to have them remove the concrete. I was never told this would be a higher per hour charge. Fast forward a couple of weeks. I called to schedule the work to be done. Josh arrived and immediately said that the work order stated that I was going to have the concrete removed. I never told the first tech that I would do so. I informed Josh of this. He said that was no problem, he could remove the concrete. He said he would need to go back to the shop to get the jackhammer. No problem, miscommunication happens sometime. After I explained to Josh the work that we were needing done, it was determined that we weren't quite ready for the plumbing to be installed. I called the office and told them I would need to reschedule. I did just that. Josh came out again on a Tuesday. He was surprised the concrete wasn't removed. I reminded him of our conversation about that the week prior. He apologized and said he would need to go get the jackhammer. He was gone for 2 hours. I was charged for this time, even though it was a mistake on their part. Once he had removed some of the concrete, it was determined that we would need to replace some of the old pipe under the house. We asked for an estimate for that work. We were told around $4000. We decided to have the work done. Josh and Walter spent about 10 hours the next day at our house. We were charged for 13. I questioned this. I was told I am charged from the time the tech leaves the shop, until he returns. I understand being charged for time spent picking up materials needed for the job. I don't understand being charged for drive time too and from my house. I was quite impressed with both of the gentlemen who worked at our house. They worked diligently to complete the work. I believe they did top notch work. I have an issue with Mullin's billing practices, though. I asked for an itemized invoice when I was told my bill was almost a thousand dollars more than the original estimate. I was told the $4000 estimate was time only, not material. Upon speaking with Lance in the office, he explained that because they removed the concrete, I was charged $194/hr. I was never told this before I had them do the work. He agreed to refund $600 of my bill and said he would email the invoice to reflect that. I asked for an itemized invoice breaking down exactly what I was charged. It was broken down into two categories. Time and materials, one charge for each. I called and asked for the materials to be itemized. Lance told me they do not do that. I asked him exactly what that $736 was for and all he could say was material used for the job. He also told me they mark up materials 50%. I insisted that they provide the itemized materials list. Lance said it is not possible to provide it. I had a long telephone conversation with Lance about how unacceptable this is. I told him I saw what the tech carried into my house for the job. I have since priced those things at Lowe's and came up with less than $125. I believe I was either charged for stuff that was not used, or the mark-up is way more than 50%. I also believe that since they are unable or unwilling to provide the itemized materials list, they are trying to hide it. I cannot, in good conscious, recommend them to anyone and I will not use them again. I was hoping I had found a plumber I could rely on. I did with Josh. Unfortunately, Mullin's questionable billing practices ruined that.

FACT: 30 min to go get parts $64 20 min to fix tub diffuser, replace packing, and replace ball valve $128 Parts plus 50% upcharge (on top of The $64 to pick them up) $87 TOTAL= $279 When I called up there LANCE told me that’s how a business works and that he understands that the majority of there customers are In desperate need of repairs so he understands why I was upset. Well my time of need in no way Justifies price gouging on your part. This is not the first time I’ve used them and never had a problem. I hope this is not their answer to surviving the corona rescission because if it is. They will not.

Very well. It was on a weekend so we were glad to get someone out to stop the water spraying that was causing a minor flood in our garage. Nice repairman got leak stopped and then they sent another plumber out the next day, a weekday, so it would be less expensive. They also reconfigured the plumbing so it shouldn’t happen again—that was optional and cost more, but we are rather cautious and decided it was a good idea.

Called their answering service off hours and did not get a call. I then called on the day after holiday. The tech was not familiar with parts. I had to look up the delta faucet and gave him the number. Did not have hose on truck, made two trips to supply company a few miles away and said they had told him it was the wrong one, requiring the 2 trips. Charged me for 3 hours labor due to his lack of knowledge!

What I got was a "plumber" that got frustrated and angry, even throwing his tools. He didn't want to do the work, to the point of trying to tell me he would have to cut a hole in a bedroom wall to get to a pipe. It was his anger though that threw me off. I'm a big man, but even I found his behavior threatening. Threatening to the point that I just wanted him out of my house. He fixed nothing, charged me $104, and the kicker, spent 15 minutes trying to sell me an HVAC service plan for $45/month before I finally got him out of the house. If you need an angry, dangerous, stupid plumber to charge you for nothing, Markwayne Mullin is your guy.

Unlike other local plumbers, the person who called me back refused to provide cost ranges for the few things that can go wrong with a hot water heater. He was insistent that it was impossible to provide any cost estimate over the phone. I feel this is questionable and when I did mention that other companies were willing to provide estimates for issues such as a thermocouple or gas valve replacement, he became defensive and rude. I would not recommend.

The workers were real good and very efficient. I just liked the way they do business. He left the area very clean. I rated them an “A” because of how well they do it and they have got a process that saves the customer money.
Description of Work: I used Mullin for plumbing. If you have a problem, they send a person out, he looks at the problem and analyzes it and makes up a list of materials. That service is all free. Then the plumber comes out a couple of hours later with all the right materials and can do the job without running back and forth.

Description of Work: I use Mullin Plumbing Inc for plumbing services. Unfortunately my toilet had started running and it was a small bathroom nobody ever uses so nobody knows how long it went. Mullin sent a guy out to snake the line. He charged around $150 and told me he couldn't get through the line. Another Mullin guy came with a camera, another $250. They dug up the line and made a small repair (another $700) but said entire line would need to be replaced, possibly into the middle of the street. His estimate was $6700 if the road did not have to be cut and $13,000 if it did. Yes, $13,000. I called another company to get a second opinion but did not tell them that Mullin said the line absolutely had to be replaced. The second plumber dug the line out for a few more feet and said it was in good condition and made the necessary repairs. He charged $450. Mullin has done a few jobs for me in the past but they will completely knock your head off if given the opportunity. I'm done with them. Find a plumber who does't have all those commercials to pay for.

The first try (or three) didn't solve the problem, so I had to call them back out to re-snake the drain line. They actually came out on a weekend for this next attempt. That also did not fix the problem, so they came out a third time to try again. The third time was the charm. I haven't had a problem with the line since then. They did not charge me for any of the additional visits so the first payment amount was all I ended up paying.

They used plumbers to jackhammer and dig the concrete and we found out later that we could have saved money if they had offered subcontractors to do the same work. Also they said in the beginning that materials and labor is included in the $147 per hour rate and after completing the work they charged us for the materials . Materials charge was a whole lot more than market price. They even counted the hours to go buy the equipment at the $147 per hour rate. We asked them to send us the receipt of materials and we never received it to this date although it has been a year. I think we got ripped off by this company and they took our advantage because we didn't know about all these things.

The guys that we worked with were super friendly and educated us on what was not working and how they were going to fix it.
Description of Work: I have used Mullins to replace a leaking water valve in the tub, a clogged shower drain, to install a new fiberglass tub in our rental property, patch and texture two rooms, put in a French drain (unbelievably great job and they used a fantastic concrete guy for our driveway) and to fix a leaking window. We plan to have them back to fix some rotting siding when we get our new windows. I also just had them install a new garbage disposal. I love it that Mullins is nearly a one stop shopping destination when it comes to plumbing and construction. The only suggestion I have for them is when a customer calls in, don't take the customers phone number so they can be called back to schedule work. Get them scheduled on that first call.

I had them come and give me a quote for the plumbing issues that caused black mold under my house and in the walls. They came out, charged me $300.00 for the visit. I asked for a quote and they said they would have to get it to me. I called and called and called and it took them 3 weeks to finally get me one. It was a cheesy email with the price on it from the service guy. Horrible customer service and overpriced!

TWater was coming out the bottom of my utility room wall as the clothes washer ran on Sunday. So, I called Mullin Monday morning to schedule a visit. I was told 1 to 6 window on Monday with 30 minutes to get there to meet the plumber. I work downtown, live in Bixby so a bit stressful, but OK. I will say that Mullin was able to come out Monday wereas other plumbers on Angie's list said a few days, or up to a week from now. The Mullin plumber called at 6:15 and was at my home at 6:30. That kind of bummed me out being so late, but it was in the "window". The plumber comes out, I told him what was wrong. So he immediately cuts a 3' by 3' square of drywall off the back of the utility room to see the plumbing. I then ran the clothes washer and the problem was the line was clogged as water came out the top of the pipe but you couldn't see it unless the drywall was off. It's too bad the plumber didn't have me run the washer first to demonstrate before he sawed off the drywall as he may have been able to tell the clog was happening by hearing it, or working with the drain from washer and overflowing as it did. Hello, maybe an expert could diagnose this better than I could have and avoided sawing off the drywall that I now have to fix. It's like he took the easiest approach instead of a more measured one using his "experience". I thought OK, now run a "snake" through the line and clear it. The plumber said no, I'm not a drain guy, I'm a repair guy. So, I pay the $ 104 fee and have to call Mullin for a "drain" guy to come out and spend another $ 104 to clean out the line. That was bad. So now I have to pay another $ 104. Had I used another service, the plumber could have cleared the line after diagnosing the issue. I called at 7AM on Tuesday morning to set an appointment, two plumbers show up about 9:30AM and do a great job cleaning the utility line and I asked them to clear the shower line as that had a slow drain. They did a great job, charged me $ 146 ( with Angie's list $ 10 coupon ) and went on their way about 90 minutes later. So, I paid $ 250 to get two lines unclogged and find out I didn't have a more severe plumbing problem. Looking back on it, the "repair" plumber could have performed better and may have been able to not have cut the big hole in the drywall as he did as that's going to be costly to repair or do it myself. I probably spent $ 104 more than I should, because I didn't assume it was just a clogged line. Not sure if I will use Mullin again for they're expensive and I had to make two expensive service calls to get the situation fixed when one should have done it.

To be honest I'm not sure. I called on a Friday because I could hear water running after the Stanley Steemer team left my house. I didn't realize they had used the outdoor faucet until doing some yard work the next day. The faucet was very difficult to turn off, so I left the service call to Mullins in place for Monday - which is the earliest they could come out. Thankfully it wasn't a large leak, and now that I know Mullins doesn't perform service calls on the weekends or after hours, I will not be using them for emergencies in the future. The repairman showed me a pipe with a crack in it that he supposedly removed from the faucet, but when I went outside to assist him, I noticed the faucet had not been removed from the wall - so where did the pipe some from? Adding to my confusion he insisted the cracked pipe could only be replace via my bedroom wall, so he sawed through the wall to replace the pipe - at least I think he replaced the pipe - he never showed me exactly what he replaced, or the actual plumbing in the wall. Where did the original cracked pipe come from? Then when he left, he didn't turn the water back onto my house. I had to go to a neighbor (a fireman) who had the appropriate tools to turn the water back on. It was a strange and difficult service call and I learned I should ask more questions of the repairmen from this company. I'm really not sure if I was ripped off not. I'll be very hesitant to use this company in the future.
