We noticed dripping in the master bedroom's floor air vent. Mullin sent out their slab leak specialists, who found the leak near the water heater and worked over two days to fix the leak. On the first night, after three hours of trying to solve the apparent leak, after turning the water back on, the pipes still leaked. Not satisfied, the Mullin team came back the next day and finished the job, widening the hole in the living room to 2' x 4', and adding another hole on the other side of the wall after draining and removing the hot water heater. They bypassed my air ducts and replaced a little more than 3 linear feet of pipe in all before it was complete, but stayed within about $100 to estimate, and helped us understand the process to talk to the insurance company.

I thought this was a very good experience. They were extremely fast and accurate, responsive and polite. I've really had good luck iwth this company. They are probably the best plumbers I've ever dealt with. They were very good about leaving my place clean and picking up debris and anything from their work project. Their price was fair. They did a couple extra things when they installed that brought the house up to code. It wasn't strictly switching out a hot water heater. I think all their labor and everything was fair. I would definitely use them again.

Mullin Plumbing's servicemen was nice and polite. They worked efficiently. They cleaned up really well after themselves. They showed up on time. They were very professional.

Both o/s faucets no longer leak. Job was well done. I wish I knew he was installing a new Y-branch because I didn't ask him to do that and I could have done that. His explanation was it needed to be done in order to fix the o/s faucet in the back. I don't know about that, but I do know I could of done that before he arrived. To save labor cost.

Excellent. The receptionist quoted a standard price of $850 to replace a 50 gallon water heater. A company representative confirmed the price; he said that to bring the installation up to new city codes, the total cost would be $850 plus whatever was needed to meet the new code. He thought my 1993 house would require a drain pan and a new vent pipe section, about $50 (not a firm price). A plumber and helper arrived exactly on schedule. They worked quickly and carefully and made be sure I understood what code work was needed. The total cost was $900, as estimated. They were cooperative and professional. A perfect job. I had two other problems that involved cutting through walls, and I asked if they had time to work on them. The plumber quoted the standard prices but agreed to charge instead only for materials and labor and not a service call. The total charge was a lot less than the quoted price. And, again, they did a perfect job.

They provide a window of time for service when you call (i.e. plumber will be there between 10-12). They call before they come. The plumbers were professional and provided education on what the possible problems were. They provided guidance regarding the next steps I will need to take for the longer-term plumbing problems that I have. They were respectful and careful not to track anything into the house/make a mess. This is the third time I have used their service since purchasing my new home, and they have been consistently reliable and professional so far.

Overall I would say it was not a pleasant experience. The work was not done in a timely fashion. It was not done correctly the first time. The only saving grace for me was that the city requires an inspection of water heater installations. If it didn't I would not have known of the hazards created by the initial installation. BTW: Mullin did not charge for coming back to correct deficiencies in its plumber's work.

Imagine, a plumber that doesn't know how to light a water heater.

They came out right away and took care of the problem. They had to clean out the pipes because roots were starting to grow in them. They even came out on the weekend and they were very good. I really appreciated the fact that they responded so quickly.

They did a fine job and I was pleased with the service. I would recommend them to anyone. They were on time and friendly and made sure to answer my questions. The price was reasonable and the work was done well.

In the last three years I have had gas valves going out (replaced one per year) and the gas company told me to have a plumber come out and check for moisture in the gas lines. Once the gas lines had been checked and deemed moisture free the plumber could not get the hot water heater to relight. I was out a hot water valve and thermocouple. The total bill was $755 , $275 to check the lines, 3 hrs labor $240, $126 in parts and I was sold a product for clean drain lines & septic system. My complaint is that I was told that the pressure test would be $275, but did not anticipate 3 hrs labor charge and parts in addition to the pressure test. My hot water valve worked fine before they started fiddling with the gas lines. Would this be my responsibility?

We called to make an appointment for an estimate but Mullins doesn't make appointments rather they call you 30 minutes before they come. They did say, however, it would be in the afternoon. My husband took a Thursday afternoon off from work so he wouldn't have to worry about not being able to leave work when they called. They never called or came by that day! The next morning, the guy called to apologize and said he was stuck on a job. The main office also called and apologized and we re-scheduled the estimate for Saturday (before Spring Break because we wanted to finish the bathroom over Spring Break). We got the estimate and the work was scheduled for Monday morning. Monday morning the guy called in sick. (I'm sure he was, but is he the only employee they have?) The work was finally completed on Thursday. Our bathroom wasn't finished over Spring Break, most of our time off was spent waiting.

After accepting their bid, we were told we would be contacted to set up the repair. After a week with no contact, we called to see what the problem was. The plumber blamed it on the office personnel, the office personnel said it was the plumber's responsibility to set up the repair date/time. Finally got the date set. Plumber called the morning of the appointment to move it up 15 minutes, this was good. Wife went to rental home; plumber called after she had been there 20 minutes to say he needed another 20 minutes; strike 1. 30 minutes later, wife called plumber to see where he was, he said he was in the office trying to wrap up some paper work, and would be there in 5 minutes; strike 2. Wife left rental home after waiting another 15 minutes. Plumber called from rental home 15 minutes later wanting to know where my wife was; STRIKE 3 - You're OUT! As far as initial proposal response, very good. As far as follow-thru and customer communication/service, not so much!

When we called, Mullin Plumbing told us they would arrive the same afternoon. Jerry showed up on time, was very professional, and did an excellent job. He suggested an additional item, which involved no extra labor cost, and was a great improvement over the set-up we already had. The price was very reasonable, and I would use Mullin Plumbing again or recommend them to anyone. Great job.

Excellent company. Ray was our contact. He was fairly priced and excellent with follow up communication.

I made the phone call at around 7:00 pm and was told that someone would be out that evening as soon as possible. Within the hour, the technician called to say he would be there at 9:30. He pulled up at about 9:20 and got right to work. He was very courteous and professional. Now, if only it could have been done for free!!HAHA!

Very unprofessional. Does not stand by their shoddy work. Rips off elderly by suggesting expensive work that was not called for.

I WAS PLEASED THAT THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME. IT ALSO MADE ME HAPPY THAT THEY WERE ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY WHILE THEY WERE HERE.

THIS COMPANY IS ALREADY HIGHLY RATED, THAT'S WHY I WENT WITH HIRING THEM. THE WORKER WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND HAD GOOD MANNERS. I FEEL THAT THEIR APPEARANCE REALLY STANDS OUT. THEY SATISFIED ME WELL.

WHEN THEY CAME IN TO FIX THE PIPE THEY FOUND A PIECE THAT WAS OUTDATED AND THEY REPLACED IT. THEY ALSO WERE VERY NICE AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THEY HAD TO FIX TO US. I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THIS COMPANY.

THEY WERE A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN I LIKED. THEY WERE VERY CORDIAL AND COURTEOUS. THEY DID GIVE GREAT FOLLOW-UP SERVICE. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE END RESULT.

THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL AND EFFICIENT. THEY DIDN'T GIVE ME ANY HASSLE AND THEY WENT THE EXTRA MILE TO GET EVERYTHING DONE. THEY PROVIDED QUALITY SERVICES AND I APPRECIATED THAT.

I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH MY DRAINS SO I WOULD SAY THEIR WORK IS SATISFACTORY. THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS WHEN THEY WERE DONE AS WELL. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE PEOPLE FROM THIS COMPANY.

I CAN'T SMELL THE SEWER ANYMORE. THEY OBVIOUSLY DID THEIR JOB RIGHT. THEY WERE ON TIME, VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. OVERALL THEY JUST DID A GREAT JOB FOR ME.

IF I HAD TO DESCRIBE THIS COMPANY, I WOULD SAY THAT THEY ARE VERY EFFICIENT, FRIENDLY PEOPLE. THEY REPRESENTED THEIR COMPANY IN A GOOD MANNER. I WAS REALLY HAPPY WITH THE WORK THEY DID FOR ME.
