Description of Work: Repair a faucet that was leaking. Faucet started leaking again within 10 days. Called same repairman came back and repaired it again - told me any further problems with the faucet I should just call and ask for him. He was a very nice person.

Description of Work: The total dollars was for two seperate events. The first was simply to install a garbage disposal to replace a 15 year vetern. The plumber was fast efficeinet, professional and personable. Based on that experience we called them back when our water heater died. Again very professional and all was done as expected. The only suggestion would be for Mullin to send two people for the water heater. It was a difficult installation as the placement is in a very cramped and hard to reach area and the plumber had to manueveur a 75 gallon tank around a lot. He did it but it was difficult.

Description of Work: Layla, covering the telephones on Saturday (today) November 3, 2013, was sarcastic, condescending, and degrading to the customer (me). Emergency call to find source of recent flooding of my bathroom floor. First plumber sent out could not find any problem and left after about 15 minutes. Within ten minutes from the time he left, I had flooding in my bathroom floor again. I immediately called and asked Layla to send him back, which she refused to do because he was on another job. He couldn't have even been out of my neighborhood yet. After several unpleasant telephone calls with Layla, a manager called me, sent another plumber who quickly discovered the problem and spent approximately two hours fixing the problem. Both plumbers were pleasant, the first one was unable to find or fix the problem, the second one was able to duplicate the problem and repair it. Although the manager discounted the amount I paid to the first plumber, I was so upset, frustrated, and angry about my conversations with Layla that I remain unhappy with the company and will not be calling them again. Perhaps Layla was just having a bad day ... but then, so was I!

Description of Work: I've used Mullin Plumbing for years. From a leaky faucet to replacing a garbage disposal to converting a bathtub to a shower for my elderly parents to our home soft water system. When I have a plumbing problem - that's who I call. It may cost a little bit more but the quality of the work and the customer service is impeccable.

Description of Work: We got estimates from Mullins on cleaning out the septic tank and repairing broken lateral lines. They finally got the tank cleaned out after we kept after them to "get it all". They began trying to repair the lateral lines, as intended, and then decided it would be easier to replace them. More cost. Distribution boxes were left open over night and one of our horses got into it and cut her leg. Vet bills and treatment: more cost. We questioned the method being used to install the new lines; no worries, they said. Days later, water began pooling on the top of the ground. To make a very long story shorter, public officials got envolved and forced them to completely install a new drainage field with appropriate permits (more cost), perk tests, and using the appropriate materials. Would we use this company again? No way.

Description of Work: We contracted with Mullin Plumbing to install a new hot water tank which we purchased independently. The work was satisfactory except for taking out perfectly good copper tubing and replacing it with PVC. Unecessary work, material, and labor cost.

Description of Work: while planting roses noticed holes filled up with water. Mullin came out and said that since we have clay soil and it holds water we should wait until a day that the sprinkler system hadn't run and hadn't rained that morning.. He checked the meter with water running in house and without running in house and it showed a very slight difference when water was on and when water was off.. Per his suggestion we are going to wait until a different day to check the same area. We were very happy with their rapid response and workmanship.

Description of Work: Fixed a few things for me

Description of Work: All I got was an estimate from Mullins, after getting my second estimate I will not use them. They were $1000.00 more. He never looked into the crawl space, he never measured anything. I wanted an addition to eh gas service that he stated the inspector wouldn't like, but that after the inspector approved it he would make the changes, It makes me wonder about their ethics. If he will put something over on the inspector, what will he try to put over on me?

Description of Work: My home warranty company sent an HVAC person to my home, because we had water in some of our ductwork. He looked in our ducts and took some photos with a digital camera and explained that our ducts were in very bad shape and would likely need to be filled in with concrete and reconstructed elsewhere. I contacted Mullin for solutions, and they suggested scoping the ductwork first with a camera. The gentleman they sent was early, very thoughtful and inquisitive about our problem, and was concerned about us not spending money we didn't have to. After scoping the ductwork, it was clear that our ducts were fine, and that our flooding issue was due to drainage, not issues with our ductwork. He showed me the video of the scope and left the CD with me. The gentleman they sent was very professional, worked quickly, and answered my questions. It was well worth my time and money.

Description of Work: I used them to install a toilet and a water shutoff.
