Groutsmith Tulsa

This service was performed on tile in very small bathroom, floor and shower. This was a Rip-Off. Watch out for these word-smithers. I believe they are over-priced bathroom cleaners. They said they would re-grout where needed, but they just cleaned, re-caulked, and allegedly sealed the grout. Very, very disappointing based on some of the reviews I read on Angie's List that have this company all trumped-up - some of you must have pretty low expectations. Shop around and ask questions before you get anyone to re-grout OR clean your tile work...and make sure you have it ALL in writing, as in "yes, we will fill in the grout where it is needed to the level it is supposed to be." And then they probably still won't do it. I actually think while scraping, they sawed-out some of the grout...and again, didn't re-fill it. Now we have to get this redone by real 'professionals' sometime soon...after already paying these folks a whopping $325 / hour. Just don't do it.

They arrived on time and cleaned the grout off the floor and shower that the previews contractor left unfinished. These people not only cleaned our tiles on the floor and in the shower; they repaired it from a previous contractor that did a very poor job. When they were done it looked excellent. These people are very good at what they do!

They did a very good job. There were a couple of small problems a month later. We called and they sent the same technician out who did the original work and he fixed the problem. The only down side to any grout work is you have to not use the bath/shower for three days before and three days after?so we had to do this twice. Overall I would recommend them. Grout work is not fun and they did a very good job. I would like to use their grout cleaner/protector for our Kitchen tile floor, its just a little pricey but?probably worth though! There are a lot of things I would do to my house if I had more money to invest in it! Mike K.

The technician was punctual and when a second technician finished his job early he joined the one at my house and the job was finished much more quickly. They were professional and personable and did a fantastic job. I plan to use them again and would highly recommend this company to everyone.

It was good. They came out after a couple of weeks. I would use them again. They were timely and they worked fast. I would recommend them to a family member or a friend.

We actually haven't used them yet, but the estimate was nice. It was great. It did take a little while to get them out. They're really busy.

I’ve gotten another estimate from other companies and they were a lot cheaper than Groutsmith OK

The technician arrived on time, was very professional and courteous and did an outstanding job. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, even the stupid ones! He replaced the cracked kitchen grout with a more flexible caulking solution and he went to great lengths to mix and match the caulking to the grout color. Even gave me the leftover in case needed. The tile looks new again. I am very pleased and would definitely use them again.

They did everything they said they would do, and did a wonderful job!

The service went well and they did a fantastic job. I paid an additional fee just to have them cover some additional area. 2 technicians came out and completed the work in 2 hours. They were very polite and courteous. They gave some good suggestions. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

I showed him the area where I needed the work done. He wanted an additional $600 or so but we just didn't have the money at the time.

While deal didn't work out for our needs. The company was very professional and easy to work with. We would hire them in the future if their grout cleaning treatment system was better suited for our needs/ability to maintenance after.

Every thing went according to estimate and the young man who did the work was prompt and professional. Would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I originally met with field manager, Stephen White, who was very nice & professional. He demonstrated the procedure on one of the worst tiles. It was very impressive and I was able to select the color for my grout. I also showed him 2 tiles that needed replaced which he said they would also replace and/or repair. I accepted his "Angie's big deal" offer and Brandon Cartwright showed up, on time. Gave me his card and identified himself. He asked if I had any questions about the procedure and it would probably take around 4-5 hours. He worked alone and I have to say, my floors looked better than the original installation. I was instructed how to care for the floors to keep the 10 year warranty in effect. I purchased their highly concentrated cleaner for regular mopping & also one to use every few months for spot cleaning or full floor if necessary. Be sure to read on their site how to care for your tile, marble or granite that they have treated. No steaming allowed. I'm thrilled with the outcome. te

The Groutsmith read my review on Angie's list and contacted me soon after. I had a couple of phone calls and emails with Angela at the Grouthsmith and I agreed to another meeting to go over all my issues. A time was set up for one of their techs, Dillion and Stephen, their Oklahoma Field Manager, to come by and review the previous work done. Both agreed that additional work was needed to be done to meet their quality standards. Dillon then spent several hours redoing the entire shower top to bottom. He requested my input throughout the process and didn't leave until both he and I were happy with the results. The end result was everything I could have hoped for. Both Dillon,and Stephen expressed their concern that I be pleased with the result and that they take their company's reputation seriously. Their actions confirmed their words.... It's nice to see people who care and are willing to step up. Kudos to Angie's List for providing people with a means of finding reputable companies to provide services AND for providing a method to communicate with those companies involved and the public in general! If needed in the future, I would have no problem recommending The Groutsmith to others.

Man looked at shower and said that this would not solve the problem. Offered alternative that I did not accept. I went with another company.

The young man did show up a few minutes late to the appointment, but the office called to let me know he had to pick up some supplies before he could make the appointment. Once he was there the young man was very nice and professional and explained what he would be doing and approximately how long it would take. The final results were amazing. Myself and my husband just couldn't believe the difference in the "before" and "after" - it looks like we had a new floor installed. They picked the perfect color for our floors and we couldn't be happier. I would recommend The Groutsmith to family and friends and I plan on using them in the future for my master bath.

Groutsmith was unable to perform the service in a timely manner.

Brandon was on time and very courteous. He did a great job and answered all my questions. My tile and grout came out looking new again. Glad I spent the money to have this back breaking work done for me.

This was kind of my fault since I underestimated the size of my kitchen. I had contact with this company before and knew they have a good reputation. The young man who came for the estimate was very professional and honest and even suggested a way to get the job done cheaper (though not as permanent) for a quick fix. So I appreciated his honesty. I will most likely use them in the future when my budget allows.

I was worked the chalk would look strange with the rest grout but it blended it in perfectly and will make it so much durable to stain and water .

When I called to schedule an appointment and for them to come out, they informed me that it would be extra expenses that’ll cost over 500.00. Unfortunately I did not use this provider due to the cost

The team arrived on time, having called the day before to confirm all preparation was complete and the time of their service. Andrew and Brandon worked very quietly and efficiently, completing on time. Everything I could want in a team. My one issue was that we had discussed re-sealing 3 tiles when we had the original estimate but somehow that was missed in the final work order, so the team did not have the equipment for these additional services when they arrived. I called the office and they apologized for the confusion (equally my fault as theirs) and we agreed to have the team come out later and finish those small tasks. Two months later when I was ready for the additional services, I scheduled the extra work and also asked them to look at a few places where the team may have missed along the cabinetry edge. Curtis came out the next day and immediately jumped to respond to my concerns. He had the team come out to do the additional work, and while here they touched up the areas of concern free of charge. The team was incredibly courteous, service-oriented and reliable. I appreciated everyone's attention to detail and ensuring we received exactly what we wanted. While the cost wasn't inexpensive, it was far less than new tile would be and we have been thrilled for 6 months and see no signs of wear or fading. We would recommend this team to anyone.
