+ -1 moreIt went great. The manger call and had to cancel an appointment but set up another one. They showed up on time and started their work. They where in and out in day and half. I was very surprised because they could put them in so fast. They did not leave until they where sure that everything was done and if I had any questions they answered them all. I would say if you needed to have this work done then call them first if you want it done right and fast.

Description of Work: The Energy Star Audit was done, time was spent explaining the testing the results and the recommendations. A clearly printed explanation was given.

Description of Work: I had an energy audit performed, which recommended insulating my attic. Elite Service Co. quoted half of the amount estimated by the company who performed the audit. Elite extended fan ducts in the attic, spray foamed all vertical walls, blew insulation in, and rerouted an air return duct in the crawl space.

We had some initial problems with the furnace, but I would call the office & they had someone on the way almost immediately, even at 8:30 one evening. We just had the second energy audit done to see how the improvements added up, and we qualified for the maximum rebate benefit.
Description of Work: We had an energy audit done to evaluate our 15 year old house & see if we could participate in PSO's energy rebate program. Altho the HVAC systems were not that old, we found out that the energy efficiency of new units & the potential rebate from PSO made it a great time to replace everything. Elite & Airco both gave similar estimates, but decided to use Elite because they were a little more detailed as to how they were going to address some of the problems presented by the energy audit. In all, we had a high efficiency furnace & condensing unit replaced, had all the ducts resealed, had additional fiberglass insulation blown & they used spray foam insulation in some areas. In addition, all the can lights and any other air penetrations to the attic were sealed.

+ 1 moreI originally dealt with the owner who was very pleasant and professional. He gave me multiple options and helped solve some problems with the remodel changes. He also informed me about some great rebates available for energy efficiency upgrades which I took advantage of. They took care of scheduling the energy audits, scheduling and/or performing all the work, and took care of nearly all of the paper shuffling to get the rebates. I was happy with the work done and found all of the employees pleasant to deal with. There was one issue with the installation but Elite came back to fix it without delay and stuck with it until it was fixed. Also, the person who sealed up the air gaps in my basement with expanding foam left a bit more of a mess than I thought necessary but all in all I was pleased.
Description of Work: Elite installed a new heater and air handler in the basement, a new outside compressor unit, changed some ducts for a remodel project, arranged for additional insulation in the attic, and sealed up some places where air was able to flow from outside.

+ -1 moreWas about an hour late, but apologized and had a reason. We chose them because they installed our system for a great price 5 years ago and did a great job. We have not had outside service since. We had a PSO coupon check that gave us back up to $25. He was here almost 4 hours did a full computer check, told us what was good and what was bad made suggestions to improve efficiency.
Description of Work: We set up to have preventive maintenance done on our Trane heat and air units. We selected a PM service for twice a year for $139 rather than once for $89. Needed freon and cleaning of condenser unit and air filtration filters.
